I've been to a David's Bridal in North Jersey to go bridesmaid shopping but as quick as we waked in we walked out even quicker. This David's Bridal is way different! Everyone is super friendly and attentive!! I went to look at bridal dresses and ordered one the first day there. I was just recently there to look for a mother of the bride dress and they left us to look on our own but the minute we had questions they were right there to help. The only downfall I really had was they never called me to tell me my dress was in and I had just called earlier that week. I was also about to leave for a trip to Alaska, I called them again the day I was leaving (since you only have 7 days to pick it up once it's in) and it had been in the day before... No-one had called to inform me. So I had to rush there to get it before heading to the airport. It all worked out but just would have wished I didn't have to run around and got to try it on when it came in. It is what it is. read more

I said yes to the dress yesterday at David's Bridal East Brunswick! I had an appointment earlier in the day at the Watchung location and unfortunately my first wedding dress shopping experience was a bit underwhelming. The staff did not seem like they wanted to be there, and they were not very helpful. Luckily, I did a walk-in at the East Brunswick location that afternoon and the vibe and atmosphere was contagious! I was greeted with enthusiasm and every staff member in that place was willing to help! Jessica P. went out of her way to make sure I could envision every dress I tried on as it would be on my wedding day (clips, veil, different styles, etc.). Surprisingly enough, I ended up with a dress I tried on at the initial location, but everything about my experience with Jessica P. really did sell it and made me fall in love - I surely got that "this is it!" feeling! read more

I wanted to give this place a 5 star review but the manager is notably rude I just couldn't do it. She almost got them a 3 star but the other staff were so nice I rated based on that. First, kudos to the young ladies who cover the floor and assist you in the dressing room. And bless the seamstress who came to my rescue when a dress I ordered happened to have an extra stitch that changed the fit. She took it to the back and quickly fixed the issue. They have a parking lot out front and pretty good customer service over the phone so you can see if what you need is there before you go. Now for the store manager, she clearly hates her job and/or people. She was very short with her comments and offered explanations for ordering items from the store that made 0 sense. She basically told me I could only order a particular dress from the store or I wouldn't be able to get it. And once I ordered it, I couldn't return it because the timeframe you have to return the item would be over by the time I receive the dress. I said how could a return policy kick in before you receive the item, what if it's damaged or not what I ordered? And if that's the case, I would just order online because it is available even though you're telling me that it isn't. She then switched her explanation when I made certain points. She also left me in the middle of my order to deal with another client, which took over 20 minutes. I'm sure she left to punish me as I wasn't ok with her sales approach. A different sales person helped me as a result! The rest of the sales team saves this place but the manager needs to remember customer service is key in this line of work!!! read more

This place is by far the most unprofessional place you will visit for your bridal needs , where can I begin... first they tell you to make an appointment and you're thinking great if I make an appointment I will be to the upmost care and when you get there it is something completely different it is an absolute madhouse you have to share space with other people and there's people walking in front of your mirror when you're trying to see the product. And that's after waiting 30 minutes for any service. And when you're finally notified that your dress came in your notified immediately after that you have 7 days to pick it up or it goes back , threats right out of the gate. AVOID THIS PLACE After leaving this review , on 5/1/19 the manager replied, for what it's worth , this is better and much appreciated that's our words are recognized. I went to this David's bridal location for my wedding and I thought I'd be in good hands but Unfortunately that wasn't the case. I came here last year (Covid bride) pre pandemic and found my dream wedding dress. I fell in love with it and the service I received from the woman who helped me was fantastic. However, I was told to book my bridesmaids appointment through the same woman and so I did. I made my appointment for my girls weeks in advance. When the day finally came, my bridesmaids showed up to David's bridal only to be told that I never had an appointment and the woman I was working with was not even on the schedule for that day. They did still assign someone who helped us out and allowed us to keep our appointment hence the two stars. Post pandemic my mother went in for her dress and fell in love with a dress that was on display at the front of the store. She tried it on, loved it, they put a belt on her and she felt like that was the dress for her. However, when her appointment was over and all was settled (due to Covid you are restricted on time), she was informed that they were not allowed to sell her the dress anymore because the designer wouldn't be able to keep up with production demands. They granted her more time in the store but she had to settle for a dress that she didn't like because the staff at David's bridal wasn't informed that the dress she wanted was not up for sale until the following month even though they openly admitted to selling about 6 of that same dress the same week. I of course got my wedding dress alterations done at David's bridal and paid a good amount of money for it. I picked up my dress when it was done, put it away, and when I tried it on before the wedding I realized that the bustle pins that I paid too much money for were not there. The tailor actually pinned 2 gold safety pins to my train (my dress is crystal and ivory) and called that a bustle although I was told that I'd need 8 bustle pins and anything after I believe 4 was about $10 extra. The dress was also big on me from my breasts, my hips, and my back. I had to take my dress 2 days before the wedding to a small tailors shop to redo my entire dress and I paid half the price. $500 deep in alteration fees, I finally got my dream dress to fit me . Excellent experience at the East Brunswick store yesterday. Jenna helped our daughter pick out several Prom dresses to determine comfort zone and taste. Jenna was patient and gave great feedback while our daughter tried on dozens of dresses and gowns. Our daughter tried on an "interesting" dress that Jenna had picked out. I must admit I am quite surprised at how wonderful my David's Bridal wedding dress appointment was. I was skeptical, believing that the quality of service I would get at a "chain" bridal store would be poor, but the employees at the East Brunswick location certainly proved me wrong. I had made a 10:30 A.M. appointment on a Sunday and arrived with my aunt and cousins. Tara was my stylist and made a potentially stressful experience easy for all of us. She was kind, patient, and calming. She took the time to help me find any dress I wanted and never made me feel rushed or pressured. She explained every step to me and my family. It is easy to tell that Tara loves her job and seemed truly happy to be a part of the experience. Throughout my appointment, the managers, Maria and Erin, and other employees introduced themselves and ensured that all was going well. We finally found "THE dress" and when I "rang the bell", everyone cheered and appeared to be genuinely excited about it. I think it is important to note that the dress we all fell in love with was a $99 clearance dress. While it was a fantastic deal for me (it is a beautiful dress and I'm shocked I got it for this price) never once did Tara or the staff treat me differently for making this choice. I am sure in other bridal salons, stylists have attitudes if you purchase an inexpensive dress because they are missing out on commission. This was absolutely not the case in this situation. I'm with Rachel, I suppose. I never, never, never in a million years thought I would write a five-star review for a David's Bridal, but I'll admit that my experience here was excellent. (Also: It's worth noting that the store is in a different location now -- they moved about 9 months ago. Perhaps the staff changed over as well?) Here's my recipe for David's Bridal success... at this location: 1. Look at the website and "favorite" the gowns you like. Not all will be available in your size in the store, however, most of them will. The store will be able to print out your favorites when you arrive, and hand them directly to the bridal consultant. It speeds up the process a LOT. (Kudos to Carlee at the front desk who was friendly and competent and lovely.) 2. Make an appointment. Don't make it on a weekend. I had a 6:30 pm appointment on a Friday night and that was amazing. Store was relatively empty, and everyone was in a pretty decent mood. 2b. Make sure to CHECK OFF the box that says they can't share your info!! Otherwise you will get a lot of marketing calls. 3. ASK FOR JOANNA. Seriously! She is amazing! If you call the store and ask, they'll be able to tell you when she's working. YOU WANT JOANNA. Here's why: a. She knows the inventory inside and out. She knows what dresses they have, where they are, and how they'll fit. b. She manages you like a pro. I went with my mom, and while we have compatible tastes, we definitely had some disagreements. Joanna was superb at navigating the treacherous mother/daughter dress dynamics. She focused on what we agreed on -- i.e., this dress is definitely not as good as these other two, never mind that your mom likes one better and you like the other. c. She is patient, sweet, and does it all with a smile. My appointment started at 6:30 pm. We got there at 6:45 pm (beware of route 18 and allow extra time). The store closed at 9 pm. I walked out at 9:30 pm with my dress. Joanna was helping another party at the same time, but I barely noticed because she managed it all so well. Other great things about this location: -No one batted an eye at the fact that I am gay and marrying another woman. NO ONE. Everyone was excited and happy for me, just like they would be for any other bride. So they get an extra point for being gay friendly. -The staff seemed to genuinely like each other. Again, we were there while they were closing, and everyone was happy and in a good mood and treating each other like they were on the same team. Not all DB stores are like this. read more

We had a very productive day at David's Bridal. My cousin found her dress and we chose bridesmaid dresses. We scheduled back to back appointments for bridal and bridesmaids to make it happen. It was important we made a decision since she lived far away and was specifically in town to find her dress. The bridal associate was very patient with our requests. The bridesmaid associate had a very organized strategy for us to try on our options. She ended up pulling a dress we didn't see and it was the perfect dress for us! read more

This was the first bridal gown store I went to and it was the perfect first experience, thanks to Patience. She was truly her name personified. Since it was my first time ever, I really didn't know what I wanted or what looked good on my ample frame. Patience carried out tons of dresses, with such a wonderful, warm attitude. She was also gracious to my sister, ma and mother-in-law. This location is clean, well-lit and well stocked. David's bridal is on the low end, price wise. So if you're on a budget, this is the place for you. I ultimately didn't purchase my gown from here, but I do recommend it. read more

As soon as I walked into David's Bridal in East Brunswick, it was a disaster. I was not greeted with a hello, but with "We only allow two guests per bride." I was very confused because no one ever informed me of this rule. As I turned around to leave, my mother expressed that we traveled from Staten Island and to please make an exception because we did not know about this rule. After dealing with a very rude receptionist, I found out that my reservation was lost. The rude receptionist called over the manager. She expressed that although my reservation was lost, she would be more than happy to help me. She explained that she would assign me to Daisy, who would be assisting another bride as well. The entire time I felt like a complete burden to Daisy, as she was just giving me dresses the other bride did not like. The manager finally realized that Daisy was not doing her job and stepped in. The manager was helpful, but kept calling me by the wrong name. As I was trying on dresses, my phone kept ringing. When I finally answered my phone, it was David's Bridal asking me why I did not arrive for my appointment. Unfortunately, I did find a dress that I loved, but I absolutely will NOT be giving them my business. I felt like a complete burden and absolutely ruined my experience. read more

I've never been to a David's Bridal in NJ before, only in NY. When shopping for formal attire, I usually go with high-end department stores. I entered the store and two women greeted me at the door. They both pointed me to the back of the store where bridal shoes are located. By the shoes, I came across two young salespeople talking, laughing and gossiping. Neither one of them looked my way or offered any assistance even though I was literally breathing their air. I had to walk back to the front of the store to get help. This is not good customer service so I walked out without purchasing anything. I will not be returning to this store. I came here because i haf a bad experience in NYC with the Davids bridal there. The second i walked into the east brunswick store i was treated like i was the only one there. Espically when they teamed me and my daughter up with PATIENCE...she was amazing. She helped me find my dream dress. I am so pleased with how i was treated i would highly recomend going there for your bridal needs. I even bought the wrong veil . Hated it and didnt realize i took the wrong one home till my fitting . They exchanged it without hesitation and again PATIENCE was there to help me pick a few extras out. I will post pics after the wedding July 23 but again it felt magical like it is supposed to. They made me wait on a line to sign in, when I got sick of waiting as I'm not purchasing a dress I and attempted to step out of that line one of the associates scolded me and I wasn't allowed to shop without signing in and that I needed to sign in because "they want to know how many guests come in without appointment." I'm assuming "they" are either corporate or store managers. There are so many employees but none of them doing anything. We were cut in the checkout line by a guest who walked in after us but clearly knew associate behind register. Checkout line a solid half hour long, yet there are only 3 people ahead of me. In my two trips to the altar, I never wore a traditional bridal gown. So I was happy to be the MOB shopping with her daughter for a gown, and this was the first place we went. But I always thought of David's Bridal as somewhat cheesy. On the other hand, I never understood the need for bridezillas to spend thousands of dollars for a wedding gown, nor was I about to do that. After a friend told me that her daughter, whose gown was beautiful, had gotten it at David's, I felt a little less snobby about it. My daughter made an appointment, and Jileen took us right away. Based on the questions she asked, she got together a nice selection of dresses that were pretty much all in keeping with the style my daughter wanted. And she never tried to rush the process, even though we had arrived a bit late and even extended way past the allotted time. What most impressed me, though, was that there was no upsell, and no attempt to get us to part with a wad of cash. Jileen pushed the envelope by bringing in a couple of different styles, but they mostly weren't higher priced. In the end, my daughter settled on a gorgeous dress that looks like it costs a whole lot more, in a style she thought she couldn't wear! The only reason why I'm not giving five stars - yet - is because the dress is being shipped to the house. After it arrives, I probably will update this review. I hope I can bump it up, and not down, because the shopping experience was terrific. read more

This is probably one of the nicest DAVIDS BRIDAL I have been too! I love the shopping plaza its also located in, nothing like a PIER 1 & ULTA in the same spot! Its not a far drive from Staten Island also. The workers are very nice, helpful and pleasant! I came here to get a fitting for my bridesmaid dress and the workers were awesome! They helped me try it on and also gave me compliments and how the sizing and tailoring works. Also make sure if your bride purchases her dress here and your purchasing your bridesmaid dress there your suppose to get some type of discount so take advantage of that. They had a cute little section of bridal gifts and also shoes. They sold like bridal party and bachelorette items like cups, shirts, robes, stickers, totes and etc it was really cute! I think when I go back there to pick up my dress I might pick up a cute gift for the bride herself! read more

I came in to browse the dresses and was just looking. I wasn't attempting to try anything on, but wanted to see what styles were available. We didn't have an appointment, and when my friend inquired about some dresses, she got a lot of attitude for not having an appointment. I understand that appointments are important at this kind of establishment, but we were not demanding a room, or an armful of dresses, or one-on-one attention, so drop the attitude! We weren't even asking to try on a dress! Most of the women working there that day looked older/matronly, and because it's a wedding dress shop, they start to think they are representing Sak's on Fifth Avenue. Come on now. A smile or a genuine attitude would go a long way. I left right after that. But I do know that if you have an appointment, they treat you a lot better. I once came here for bridesmaid dresses for my sister's wedding, and we all had a good time, had a helpful girl. That's why I decided to come here again -- I figure I would browse and if I liked the overall styles, I would make an appointment at a future date. Why make an appointment when there wasn't anything I actually liked? I would just be wasting my time and the staff's time, time they could be dedicating to someone else for their big day. read more

Because of all the horror stories related to David's Bridal (DB), I was hesitant to include the retail chain in my short list of bridal salons to visit. However, their smaller price tags are hard to ignore so I made an appointment. Here is what I "learned" during my DB shopping experience: - If you can, book a weekday morning appointment. The store seems to be empty then so you won't be distracted by other bridal parties and you'll have your sales associate's full attention. - Be prepared. Arrive with a good idea of what you want. However, and to avoid trying a million dresses, I recommend you take your preparations a step further by surfing their website and noting which dresses caught your attention. To give a real-life example: For my first appointment, I came in with a loose list of wants and suffered from wedding dress overload because I tried on way too many dresses. So for my second appointment, I looked through their catalog the night before and requested to try on 5 specific dresses - I found my dress among these 5 and my appointment was less tiring. - Only purchase items of which you are 110% certain because DB does NOT accept returns and does NOT issue store credit. They do honor exchanges; however, your exchange must be of greater or equal value and will be performed only once. Also, exchanges must occur before your event date. - DB offers an accessories discount that is valid only on the day you purchase your dress. This is very tempting especially after you say "Yes!" to your dress and you're rocking whatever accessory they had you try on to "complete the look". But like I mentioned in my previous point, only purchase items of which you are 110% certain. Better to pay an additional $50 than be stuck with a $200 veil (Yes, this is another real-life example from yours truly. LOL.) - I was paired with sales associate Angela Sacchetti and I highly recommend her. She is sweet in a maternal way and her high level of energy helped keep my shopping experience going. - Their alteration timeline is horribly inefficient and may cause you to spend on alterations twice. They require 6-8 weeks for alterations so you'll be fitted 2 months BEFORE your wedding date! You'll lose weight - whether intentionally or unintentionally - as your wedding date gets closer so your newly-altered dress will more than likely become too big. This happened to my good girlfriend and her alterations cost almost as much as her dress. Of course there are pros and cons to going with an external seamstress so I strongly suggest you know them before making your decision. But based on their timeline alone, I searched for - and found - a positively reviewed seamstress with bridal dress experience (Bridal Fantasy in Avenel). - DB is notorious for invading your mailbox and inbox. Therefore, in the application they ask you to fill out, check off the box stating you don't want to be contacted AND check that their system recorded your wishes accordingly. I had requested not to be contacted and I checked off the box with a huge, can't miss check. But when I saw my record, I was recorded as wanting to be contacted by phone, mail AND email by their partners. If you're as protective about your privacy as me, I recommend you double check how you were entered into their system. Hope this helps you. Happy wedding dress hunting! read more

David's Bridal in East Brunswick saved the day! Erikca G. is amazing! Beware of David's Bridal in Watchung! I am going to be a bridesmaid and I got sized for my bridesmaid's dress at Watchung. That was a big mistake! After trying on a floor model dress AND getting sized by an employee with measuring tape, I was told to order the wrong size! F.Y.I. the floor models always run very big since they have been tried on so many times, so if it fits perfectly like it did with me, you probably need to order the next size up! When my dress arrived and I tried it on in the store, the lady helping me asked why I ordered this size because it did not fit! I told her I was told that it was the perfect size for me and my measurements were even in agreement with the size, according to the employee who helped me out at my previous visit. The employee then proceeded to tell me that they could let out the sides so the dress would fit and hem the dress. Turns out, based on the style of dress I picked out, that was not possible! They hemmed the dress and let out the sides and the dress still never fit!!! The kicker: because it was altered, I could not return the dress! I paid so much extra for this dress because of Watchung's sizing mistake! I refused to go back to the Watchung store and drove 30 mins away to the East Brunswick store. It was 100% worth the extra travel time! Erikca G. assisted me. She said that anyone trained the correct way would have advised me to order a bigger size. She also said that Watchung was wrong for telling me to alter the dress when it came in because that makes the dress unexchangeable. Erikca went out of her way to speak to her boss, and she was able to fix the problem for me. Even though altering the dress made it unexchangeable, they were able to make an exception and I was able to get the dress in the proper size without paying twice for the dress. Watchung still cost me extra money because although the dress was exchanged, I still paid for alterations which did nothing for me was 100% due to their mistake. I guess I will have to bring that up with Watchung. Please save yourself the time, stress, and money and just go to the East Brunswick location because they know what they are doing there! read more

The bridesmaid dress? Absolutely lovely. The girdle - DIDN'T FIT. The 3 (YES THREE) trips out there? A PAIN IN MY @$$. I got lost each time. 1st- initial trying-on, picking a dress. 2nd- fitting/ tailoring. The tailoring job? EH- It could have been sewn better. 3rd visit- picking up the dress. What I interpreted was that they rush everything. I got the dress days before the wedding. Tailored and all. (more expensive then I originally thought.) In hindsight, the dress needed a little more work, which could not be done due to the time constraint. It was not perfect. At least I know for the future. 1- do not buy wedding dress here (David's 99 dollar dress sale- me thinks not.) 2- do not send bridesmaids here for their dresses. read more

As I'm getting married & looking for my own wedding dress, a lot of coworkers recommend David's Bridal as the bridal go-to. However, I have to explain the very bad experience I had while getting a bridesmaids dress a few years ago. I didn't have Yelp then, but now I do so here goes.. My best friend was getting married & his wife had asked me to be a bridesmaid in their wedding-absolutely honored! She had her heart set on a dress at David's bridal, but due to them living in SC she couldn't be there with me when I went to try on the dress. She gave me the info for the dress, color, item number etc everything & even made me an appointment. Due to my past of an eating disorder I was terrified to even go. I get there, walk in, proceed to the desk & greet the girls about my appointment. They couldn't care less. I'm set up with this woman who right off the bat looks like she's miserable as anything. She says the dress is made small & reminds me 5 more times on the way TO the dress. I see it, it's a beautiful style- she again reminds me "Well it does run very small so I'll find you the biggest size we have." I'm 5'7, 160lbs & having anorexia for 10 years at this point. Recovery 92 days. I try on the 18, 16, 14 & 12 she brought me. When I said the 12 was still too big she says, "Well that's surprising." So here I am, wearing the 12 that is too big, having very small breasts the top of the dress just hung there. She goes, "have you always looked like this or do you tend to change?" I say, "excuse me?" She says, "your weight." I was embarrassed, upset, p****, drove to my moms house & she called Corp. They knew who this woman was because she's gotten numerous complaints yet nothing ever happened. Now I'm the bride, as much as I may love David's bridal dress selections,I can't do it. read more

My first stop was actually next door at "The Bridal Center," BOY they were NICE! However, I didn't find something that fit my body type. I need a TRUE empire waist dress, and I don't want something super fancy, I just want it to be pretty and nice. The woman at Bridal center "got it" was helpful and told me to keep an eye out for a pretty bridesmaid dress or something. THEN.... Only then did we walk next door across the lot to David's Bridal. I hated every minute in this store. I walked in and NO ONE said anything to me. There's a young woman being PAID to GREET and register people, right? Is she interested? She looks as if she could not possibly care less about my wedding dress or me. I asked how we got started, my mom just took off to look at actual dresses. We registered, then I was handed a catalog. She told me to fold over the page of anything that I liked. Nothing was anything remotely interesting to me, and they had little for my particular body shape (I'm not a total freak, really). Part of the deal is, I'm having a more informal garden wedding. I don't want a super frou-frou princess wedding gown, I want something more laid back. So, anyway, they were terribly unfriendly, and rude. We got out of there as soon as possible. As for finding a bridesmaid dress alternative - they flat out don't make their bridesmaid dresses in Ivory or Cream anyway, probably to prevent exactly what I am doing... brides who want to have a less formal look? Don't bother with Davids... And don't bother with this location, unless you enjoy being ignored and neglected. Go next door. Davids bridal was my first and only stop so far in the wedding planning process. I havent even registered at any of these stupid wedding sites because i KNOW they sell your info and you are bombarded with calls / offers. I specifically ASKED davids bridal 'would they distribute my info", they said , "NO its only to call you re: your dress". i refused to give an email but they made me give a phone #. Manager is super rude and won't let you buy off the rack, even though another location allowed me to. I needed one more bridesmaid dress of the same style. Had to have another David's bridal call a bunch of stores to help me out since east brunswick wouldn't sell it to me. Ended up having to go to Manhattan to get my other bridesmaid dress. Completely inconvenient especially when there are others of the same dress to put on the rack. Don't swear on good service when you don't provide it. I'd recommend any other location over this one. Clearly they do not want you to have what you want for your wedding day. read more

I went to this location because the reviews of the other David's Bridals by me were pretty poor. I'm glad I did-- this shopping experience for me was fantastic! I was semi-dreading looking for a wedding dress just because I had no idea what exactly to look for. My consultant, Erin, made everything so easy and worry-free! Some of the things I wanted to try on weren't available but she knew which dresses were similar in style and ultimately helped me find my wedding dress! I also briefly talked to someone doing alterations, Young, about making the dress alittle less poofy and she seemed to think that by removing a lining layer it could be possible. I'd be lying if I didn't say I was alittle nervous about the alterations based on other reviews, by I am still pretty excited that I was able to find something that I loved! I went with my sister, maid and man of honor and they were very nice to my entire party. The appointment went alittle over the time that was allotted, but I was never rushed or treated rudely. The other employees there were also very nice (to both customers and eachother) and complimented everyone trying on their dresses which made the whole atmosphere very friendly and my experience from beginning to end a breeze! Prices were pretty reasonable (I went during a sale) although I do wish that the costs of everything were shared with me before I paid just so I knew a ballpark range of what I was going to pay before checking out- BUT I do get to pick up my dress in a few weeks! I'm glad I drove the extra miles to go to this location. read more

I came here with my bridesmaids to find dresses for them on a Saturday night. Our appointment was set for 5:30 and we were taken about 10 minutes late which didn't bother me too much because we were able to browse through the dresses while we waited. Our consultant was nice and directed the girls to where they could go through dresses and explained the system in which they are hung. When it was time to try things on, the girls were all forced into one room like a clown car. Every so often our consultant would check back in with us but she was clearly swamped and was unable to provide everyone with the attention they needed. We left after they tried on just 2 dresses each. It just felt too chaotic there. We got much better service at the small bridal boutique a couple miles away and that is where we will be getting the dresses. It's unfortunate because this new store is beautiful. It has a nice flow to it and the decor is gorgeous. Unfortunately though, it's like a zoo. Unlike the higher end bridal stores where no children under 10 are allowed, you are allowed to bring children and apparently as many people as you want here. It really takes away from the whole experience. It was hard enough to find bridesmaids dresses - I could certainly never buy my wedding gown here. read more

2 days before one of my best friend's wedding and I cannot zip up my bridesmaids dress! The next morning I was a sobbing mess when I went to this store HOURS before the rehearsal dinner! I had not purchased my dress from this David's Bridal, but I work in a neighboring town and I really did not know what else to do but walk in and hope for a miracle! My miracles name was Kristin Taylor, store manager. She was professional when I was inconsolable, she was rational when I couldn't think straight and she was kind when that was all I needed in the world at that moment. I highly recommend shopping at David's Bridal (where the bride and bridesmaids got their dresses). My dress was comfortable, elegant and I'm wearing it again tonight to chaperone Prom! But I recommend shopping at David's Bridal in East Brunswick because you will be treated with a professionalism above most I've ever seen and a consideration that cannot be learned or taught, but is inherent in Kristin and her staff! read more

So I love my dress and I loved my experience of getting but I went there for alterations. It was $421 for alterations. That is absurd!! The dress itself was only $1,000. I mean really, I didn't even need a hem. That just included taking it on top, taking it on the bottom and the bustle. I did also ad a spaghetti strap that was $40. So disappointed because it ruined my whole experience. There should be some sort of it goes by each person but no more than a certain price. $421 is ridiculous!!! read more

I cant wait till im done dealing with some of the staff here. I gave this store a good business i have all my 10 bridesmaids bought their dresses here as well as my moms dress . Sometimes a good costumer service is good enough to know that you are appreciated, but not this store. One of the staff Erin sales associate is always so unfriendly on the phone. I Called to make an appointment first thing in the morning she already sounds exhausted and sounds annoyed. She made a mistake with the dates I was giving her for my appointment she didn't even try to apologize . If shes not happy behind the desk or that phone then quit and find a another job .. Just saying!!! They just dont make you feel like a bride. I have to give patience a star though shes the best. She always go above and beyond to help you. read more

So this is my first experience as a bride and second time here overall. Two years ago I was a bridesmaid and the bride changed the color 3! times and not once did we have a problem with my order. So tonight I had an appointment, and not fashion girl or even dress girl I wasn't sure what to expect. First of all the young lady who was blonde at the front desk tonight was super helpful, on top of paperwork and made sure I had all the related vendor and discount cards as well as the most current Groom catalog. Stephanie who actually assisted me was the absolute best. Seriously I'm emailing corporate about her as well. Bright, understanding, super professional but simultaneously friendly and enthusiastic. Again I know very little about clothes and even less about dresses, with just a few questions and a small sample of favorites on the app, she had dresses ready in minutes. I found THE DRESS on like the 3rd or 4th try on. She made sure I tried on at least one more a different length so I knew I would be 100% sure. I got my hairband, and necklace as well and she was equally amazing at choosing. Plus they let you do a wish list for stuff you may want to add or get later (my shapewear, shoes because I'm undecided though I did love the pair I tried on and a ribbon that I may or may not add). Plus I couldn't believe how reasonably priced everything was. You're getting the staff's genuine opinions not just sales people looking to make a sale. It was the best possible experience. read more

Very unprofessional. I bought a bridesmaid dress from another location and made an appointment to get the dress altered at this location. Came in checked in and was told to wait on the bench. 45 minutes later and still waiting. Asked how much longer at the front desk and they tried to tell me I didn't have an appointment after I had already checked in????? Wanted me to wait about another 2 hours. Very poor customer service, and very dissatisfied. They asked me if I wanted to reschedule my appointment with them. Why to have my time wasted again. No thank you. This dress is for my friends wedding and I was planning on buying my wedding dress here, and all my bridesmaid dress but now I will be buying elsewhere. Stay away!! read more

This was the first time I went to a bridal store EVER! The experience was quite interesting. My personal stylist for the day was Nora, and by the grace of God she dealt with all my indecisiveness and lack of knowledge/research on wedding dresses. Although my weeding date isn't for another two years, I still took myself and my bridesmaids on a little spree. She was very patient and kind. She really made me feel comfortable and get into the spirit of wedding dress shopping. She helped dealt with my bridesmaids, picking dresses and she was very professional. All in all she really helped me narrow down exactly what I needed, what would look good on me, and what would make me look the most SNATCHED (very sexy with an hour glass figure).
