I visited David's Bridal about a week and a half ago, searching for a wedding dress with my best friend for her wedding. You can most definitely tell that Covid is still real, because the place was virtually empty. I personally purchased my dress from David's over a year ago and was surprised to find that the same kind lady, Earline, would be helping my best friend. The entire staff at this location is very friendly and helpful. They are accommodating and extremely patient. The store is clean, including the dressing rooms. My only complaint, they don't have many dress on hand for you to purchase straight out. Everything has to be ordered. Not really ideal for a woman with my short timeline such as my friend. But all and all, the selection is vast and affordable. I will be back here next year purchasing a dress for my vow renewal so that I can have the reception that I was forced to postpone three times!

We went to David's Bridal to pick out a wedding dress for my daughter. She went in thinking that she wanted something lace but Diane help is look at something different. My daughter looked so beautiful in the dress that Diane picked. She fixed her up and my daughter look was old Hollywood. Her winter wedding is going to be so elegant. Diane also made sure that we stayed in our budget. We got a lot for the budget. Thanks Diane.

More hair, damage and ripped seams

Update: My dress came in, I went to pick up in store and it was a used try-on dress that was shipped from another store. The dress had hair all over it, was dirty and damaged. The first manager Cali was kind but after I went to my car to get myself together she spoke with another manager Shantosha (or however you spell it) and her tune changed very quickly. At first they offered to have it cleaned, altered, and money taken off of the dress, then they backtracked and said that they were going to give me a bigger size than I ordered and I would have to pay for any alterations other than taking it in. I called customer service they literally repeated back to me what Shantosha said. I explained that I did not have time to get another dress because my fiancé is a Marine and we have time restrictions. I am completely heartbroken as a military family, I would have hoped they would have stuck to their word originally. I'm still waiting to hear back from the store manager.

I visited the Glen Burnie location today with my sister and mom to pick out a dress for my mom for my wedding. When we entered the location we were greeted warmly by Keisha and instructed on where to look for dresses. We were shortly greeted by Emily and shown to a dressing room. Fast forward... my mom tried on five dresses and fell in love with one. We were quickly told the dress could not be ordered and that if we really wanted it, we would have to buy dress that was tried on and that the store could offer alterations to get the dress "ready to wear". After asking Emily multiple times about the process for alterations and what all would be done to the dress ,as well as turn around time for them to be completed, she took the dress from us and sent it to the back for alterations and said it should be about 30 minutes to be finished. After about 25 minutes she came out with the dress, said everything was taken care of and told us we could check out. After careful examination of the dress we noticed next to nothing had been done to the dress. Excess string had been clipped but the dress had not been steamed, the hem was still dirty and overall the dress was NOT ready to wear. Emily had since walked away and after I shared my dissatisfaction and questions with the process with another associate she never came over to remedy the problem. After speaking with the manager, who was very polite, we were informed that no one was working in alterations and in fact NOTHING had been done to the dress. Emily lied to us and never returned to apologize for the misunderstanding. The dress was purchased and we have been instructed the dress would be ready in two weeks. After leaving the store, we looked online for flower girl dresses and noticed the dress for my mom was online and available in her size. Why we couldn't order it I will never know and am extremely disappointed in the experience. After all of the changes that have been made with wedding planning due to COVID, I didn't expect this visit to add to the stress. I would really appreciate the opportunity to receive a brand new dress and talk to corporate about protocol and processes in these type of situations. Here is a picture of my mom.

Had appointment to look at prom dresses for my daughter. We saw a dress online and we hoped they had it in the store. They did but not size we needed. Our stylist was Emily and she checked and said even if we ordered it would not come in for 4 weeks and that would be too late for us. They didn't have a whole lot of larger sizes but my daughter fount a few. We went to try them on. Then Emily came and said she found the dress we saw k line and it happened to be pretty close to my daughters size, a size larger but it was a tie up back to it should be ok. Well of course my daughter loved it. We would need to have it hemmed because it was too long. Emily said their store was too booked to do it. We decided to get it anyway and find someone on our own. This dress was on the more expensive side for a prom dress $350. My daughter didn't have junior prom last year so I figured oh well if she loved this dress we will spend a bit more knowing we would still have to pay for alterations. I should have noticed the red flag when I felt so rushed at this point and went to hang up the dress there was only one strap inside to hang this very heavy dress. I don't know what happened to the other one. I couldn't hang it due to the lace up strings. I finished paying and had to use the restroom before we left so my daughter was going to get the dress after Emily bagged it. She was looking for a theft sensor but for some reason this dress didn't have one. The dress had a couple layers so she was checking them. I came out and we went to the car, I notice all we have a is cheaply clear bag for this super heavy dress. I should have went back in but I didn't. Only one strap hanging this heavy dress with dress hanging out the bottom but whatever. My daughter said Emily tried to tie up the bottom. Well I don't know what happened but it wasnt tied anymore. The real problem - we get home and my daughter tried the dress on again and upon further inspection we notice the dress had a small rip /tear in the side where the stitching was coming out and sone of the loopholes seamed pretty stretched out and the black string under the fabric was visible. I just feel that this dress probably should have been discounted. I think Emily "found" this dress in the back where it was put because it was damaged and she sold us a damaged dress without even telling us. Now I am paying the seamstress we took it to to also fix the things that were ripped in addition to hemming it. Beware and inspect the dresses before you purchase them here! I thought we would have a great experience here because I got my wedding dress here 20 years ago, but guess they have changed their standards or maybe because it was just prom dress and not a wedding gown.

One of the best experiences I've EVER had jewelry shopping, start to finish…read more My girlfriend and I had scheduled an engagement ring appointment for the Sunday before Christmas, as you can imagine this is a hectic time for retail stores and just life in general. When I tell you, Brilliant Earth and Zoe knocked me off my feet, I am not exaggerating. This experience from start to finish was exceptional. Zoe was EXTREMELY knowledgeable, professional, friendly, kind, and so much more. She made this experience absolutely amazing for us. Before our appointment, she reached out to touch base about our interests and likes / dislikes. Upon arrival, she was able to point out and show us all the pieces that aligned with our interests. She did show us other pieces as well, just to make sure we were given all of the options and we were able to mark those items off our lists. Any question we had, she had the answers. She did not make us feel dumb when asking even what may have seemed like a small, or silly question. She walked us through all of the steps and made sure to touch base on all of the aspects of the engagement ring buying process, some topics we didn't even think to touch base on before she brought them up. Zoe was extremely patient and so helpful during our appointment. She made sure we felt understood and heard, she prioritized our wants and needs. We were most interested in lab created diamonds for both of our rings, something in solitaire settings, and later on, more intricate wedding bands. She took her time when going through options with the 4 C's and again, answered any and all questions we had with confidence and clarity. Even after our appointment, I had a few follow up questions and needed help clarifying a few things and details, to no surprise, Zoe responded in a timely manner and was just as thorough and helpful through email, as she was in person. I am still so blown away and so impressed with her professionalism and true care and concern for us and our happiness during this appointment. She truly loves her job and takes pride in what she does. Zoe, thank you SO much for the best experience possible. Highly recommend Brilliant Earth for all of your engagement / wedding needs. Even if you're in the market for just some jewelry. Please ask for Zoe! You will NOT be disappointed. I will never recommend anywhere else again!! A++++ 5 star

I was looking for a hoodie (oversized, comfy, loungewear) but they were sold out of all xs sizes in the store. The owner said I'll order more and reach out & hold one for you when they arrive! Great! Definitely a great store and good on the prices. The hoodies I wanted were around $98. And I say the price is good because I know the quality is good. My husband has been shopping here for years and all his items are long wear/lasting. Anywho, today he picked up these cool shorts and a cap. (I'll probably wear his cap, lol). Anywho, check them out. I want to say that they aren't on social media. To me, that screams exclusive! Lol.

AE makes classic and Americana-inspired styles that look sharp and last a long time. For business and smart casual wear, you will find something here that suits you. Shoes here are of the sewn, not glued variety. They are wardrobe investments that can be rebuilt several times over their lifetime. They are not inexpensive - $300-400 a pair is a fair ballpark. However, they run good sales several times a year that take $50-100 off those numbers, and the product is a significant step up from average. In addition, there is a limited selection of menswear - jackets, shirts, belts, accessories, leather goods. Some of these are offered in partnership with other well known labels such as Schott and William Wilson. My experience with the store was excellent. I had ordered a pair of boots online, before I realized there was now a retail location in town. They arrived, and appeared to be a previous return that had been accidentally re-shipped - they had obvious flaws. While looking up the return process online, I found the shop on President St. So, I took my boots there for their advice. Anup, the manager of the store, provided some of the best customer service I've had in recent memory. He cheerfully handled the exchange, the return shipping, and placed the replacement order while I browsed the rest of the store. He even took the time to verify my measurements and suggested a slight size adjustment, which worked out perfectly. It was also obvious that he was very enthusiastic about his business and product. So if you're looking for your first pair of genuinely good shoes, I can highly recommend Allen Edmonds. They provide excellent service, quality goods, and a reasonable price.
