I just wanted to leave a positive review for this place. I brought my car in for an inspection and oil change. Nothing complicated. I left my car there for a few hours and picked it up. They did what I asked for the price that they advertised and threw in a free hand wash. Everyone there was super polite. Wish more mechanics were like this. I'll be back again. read more

I have been there many times for oil change before. This time tail light bulb needed to be changed and guess what happened when they try to use a screw driver to take the tail light off. First they said the car came like that , then I have requested video camera records. They said they will call me back when they watch to camera recordings. Instead of calling me , have called them two times every other day and been there in person myself . They know they did it and try to hide it . JUST WATCH OUT , THEY ARE NOT TRUST WORTHY . THEY LIE TO YOU RIGHT LOOKING INTO YOUR EYES. I WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY. read more

I got a car wash here which was ok! They were very busy so maybe they were rushed but there was still dirt on the sides of my car behind the tires after they were done. One of the men used a dirty rag when cleaning the inside of the car so parts were dirtier than when I went in. Most of the car was cleaned tho! lol read more

Visited because of little oil splash on the car door. Visited because of little oil splash on the car door. Didn't remove any. Called the staff. Staff says, " This is your paint" walked away. Trying his best not to make eye contact with me Guess what? It came off with my hand soap at home. It took me 5 minutes to take it off. The only reason why I visited is because I thought they would be more professional. I guess they just rinse with soapy water. Machine wash would have been better. Visit here if you want a soapy water rinse for 24 dollars, read more

This is by far the best car wash that I have found in the city. Hand dried and attention to detail at an affordable price. Worth the trip. read more

Came in for a quick car wash and line was a bit long. All moved smoothly and my car came out shiny. Thank you.

It's hard to find a honest and trust worthy mechanic shop and it's been great that I found this shop. I've been bringing my cars to David's Auto Service for over ten years and always have had an amazing experience. Straight to the point and they do all of the work correct and at a reasonable price. On top of that, they also own a hand car wash a block away. Using your normal cash wash would ruin your paint because if the hard bristles. read more

David's Auto Repair - Today i am getting my transmission and engine mounts done on my car as it needs it. 45 minutes in and out. - Auto Repair Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

David's Auto Repair has great service. I've been coming here with my first and second car and I've always had a pleasant experience. Their staff are friendly and greet you right away with a smile at the front desk. My car leaves the wash nice, clean and shiny; and I drive home happy. My last visit was not of satisfactory. Despite this, and my obvious distraught over it, the owner handled the situation in a calm respectful manner and assured to take care of it. read more

Mediocre and a little inflexible. I went mainly to have the interiors cleaned out. Not conditioned, or shampoo'ed, or anything else exotic. I just wanted everything vacuumed and wiped down well. After a lot of round and round with the cashier, I settled on the basic package...and there were no options to add on for cleaning inside. I didn't really get what I came for. The inside was cleaner, but there was still sand on the seats and the cupholders were gross. To be clear, it took me about 5 minutes to finish the job on my own. I would have gladly paid double to have had the job done well. Maybe I should have gone to the staff and handed them each a $10 and asked them to do what I asked...maybe next time. Exterior wash was fine, and they did get a tow sticker off the window without being asked, which I tipped extra for. read more

-The young lady who picks up the phone is very friendly but you'll get two different prices when you get a car wash - if you come at 8:00 in the morning when they open or 5:00 when they close you're still going to get the same TRASH service -Skip the spray wax it's a waste of money - The same rag that's used to wipe down the car he uses to do windows - they do a good job power washing the mats but then put soaking wet with puddle mats back in your car - The car wash guys are rude - Don't expect quality service when you try to inform the car wash guys about how your car works read more

I went for oil change on Saturday afternoon. It was busy but not too long line. They told me it will take half hour to finish mind and I also get a free carwash. Service was great, mechanic was polite and did the job quickly. Free carwash was good. I didn't expect anything fancy but look like they did good job for exterior cleaning. read more

After a long winter it was time to get our 10 year old Subaru cleaned out. There was mud and dog hair everywhere. (How does dog hair even get on top of the dashboard?) The guys here did an incredible job, every little crack and crevice is clean, the upholstery looks as good as new. The price was very fair and the team were super friendly. I highly recommend this business. read more

Save your money and go wash your car somewhere else....anywhere else! This place is completely useless. $27.22 for a full service wash except it's anything but a full service wash. Mediocre at the most!!!! No one speaks English except the cashier. Apparently they don't know how to use a vacuum either or simply choose not too but then why charge people for vacuuming? Seats do not get touched at Rubber Matt's get a quick rinse but are then put back soaking wet. Rims get a quick spray but never feel the touch of a brush or a wash mitt. Windows dried with dirty towels leaving more spots then before the wash. It should be a crime to take money from people without providing a proper, honest service!!!! read more

Review for the hand car wash: Mediocre at best, but that may be giving this service too much credit. The wash is slow. Mask wearing is not reinforced in the waiting area. After a full wash, my car still had dirty exterior areas, water puddles inside my floor mats, dirty windows, soap stains on my seats from lack of care from employees, and soap streaks running down my trunk. The towels are old and weathered - my car was not dry even with four people wiping it down with towels that I'd rather never touch my car again. I thought this might be a decent option in the neighborhood since I've seen many nice cars leaving the wash, but it was anything but that. I was not expecting the same excellent service as a $40+ wash at a detailer, but I was hoping for something more thorough (and safer) than an automated wash -- which this was not. I will not be retuning. read more

Don't know what I would've done without these guys! Just moved to greenpoint and someone stole the catalytic converter from under my car. I had just been robbed two weeks prior and was already facing those costs. They finished my car in 24 hours and were so kind when I was crying in the shop lol. They even gave me a discount because of all my bad luck. Kind, knowledgeable, and super cool people. Roman and George were both amazing. THEN, I started to drive away and pulled over because I realized THEY LITERALLY WASHED AND DETAILED THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF MY CAR. True class act. read more

The car wash service here is terrible. Every time I come to this location to get my car cleaned There's still fingerprints and smudges all over my console and on my windows . They don't vacuum properly and don't even think about coming here if you have bugs or bird poop on your car because when they're done it will still be on your car . They really just do a half job. I stopped coming to this location. I only come here now and when I'm in a rush because this is the closest location to me. And every time I come it's never cleaned properly read more

I have been here twice and enjoyed it both times. Once for an oil change on my old car blueberry and a few days ago to clean the inners of my new car due to an incident. Brought my filthy car in for a wash today and left happy. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Jeremias found a long-assumed lost key fob when he was cleaning the interior and came to find me in the shop to make sure it got back into my hands. I was so grateful! Left with a shiny car and my long-lost key fob, thanks to Jeremias and the rest of the crew. I will be back. read more

Super fast and helpful. Great hand wash also. Best flat fix guys around. Respectful mechanics who don't treat you like they know everything. While at the same time have the ability to explain the issue. read more

Horrible car wash. When I arrived I was confused with the hand wash. one of the guys recommended me to get a hand wash because it was a white van and with the armor on the total came out to about $27. My problem with this service is they do not clean they do not pay attention to detail and they do the bare minimum. If you're looking for a good car wash or hand wash I recommend you drive to Dyckman where you were flying but you're young motivated kids who would put effort into washing your car for only $20. I decided to come today on my way to the airport only to try them out, they are very hard-working men out there who I know are being underpaid and the business owners need to train these guys properly instead of taking everyone's money and not doing a good job They left my door jams all wet and the workers just looked at me while I worked. Video footage would should it al! read more

Absolutely worst car "hand" wash I've been too. Left my door jams, bottom half of my car still wet. Wheels weren't cleaned and when I asked the workers if the car was done they said yes... it looked like it was still wet and they basically let it air dry. They use a brush on the top of your car which isn't true hand wash. Additionally I saw a worker on multiple occasions drop the towel while drying other cars, picking it back up and drying again. I'm sure that car has worse swirls then mine now. read more

Came in for a car wash today & I am pleased. The only things are that I wished they dried off my floor mats before putting them back & that they cleaned the cup holders (thankfully mine aren't terribly dirty). Other than that, overall a good experience. $20 for inside & outside cleaning for my 2017 Jeep Renegade. Speedy service & friendly customer service. They don't use any scents in the car after they're done which I liked! Many types of cars here: Jeep, Porsche, Lexus, Cadillacs, Toyota's, etc. I almost feel bad because it is so cheap & they work so hard! I hope everyone is getting paid a fair wage. I'll be back - I got a frequent customer card! Thanks everyone! Addendum: they washed down an inside part of my Jeep which wasn't supposed to be washed. Called & Anna got it squared away. I came back, no problem to fix it (vacuum the "carpet") & no charge. I didn't get the guy's name that fixed it for me, but THANK YOU! read more

I've been using David's for a couple years now. I've had brakes, suspension, electrical, and other misc work performed. They've also went above and beyond to get my vehicle back on the road after emergency breakdowns. Thanks! read more

Another situation of being a woman walking into a mechanic, I've been coming here forever for oil changes and car washes. Today I went in due to a noise my car was making and they told me it was the brake pads that needed to be changed, I will be switching cars soon so decided since they have been working fine besides the noise that I would not fix them. They decided to charge me 95$ just for looking at the car, i was watching the whole time and know for sure they were not looking at it the entire hour. I've never been charged a "diagnostic fee" before and even if they did need to charge me 100$ is definitely excessive when they did nothing to the car. Will not be coming here again and will make sure that no one I know will either. read more

Sorry David's but I don't know what kind of people take advantage of other during a time of need like this charging 15 dollars for Lysol spray and 10.00 for wipes and 15 for a box of gloves this is outrageous and you have lost my business and anyone I know . read more

Car wash is half assed. They also charge 40 dollars to rotate your tires when you get your oil changed. Along with the ridiculous 40 dollar tire rotation they forgot to change my oil filter. I would imagine they "forget" and still charge for most cars that come thru. If you do get your oil changed I would watch them do the work or ask for your old filter and know what kind of filter should be coming back to you from your car. I didn't have time to make it to my dealer and figured since there weren't any cars in their bay it would be quick. I would avoid this place unless it's your only option. read more

Great place for good car wash and excellent customer service. It's going to be my new go to.

This review is for the hand car wash and the manager's bad customer service demeanor and not the repair shop. I'll preface it by saying that I've been customer for 4+ years. Today my car came out of the wash damaged with a ding and some small paint scrapes. A damage that IMO a washer wand could've done. When I mentioned this to the employees they were very professional and handled the matter gracefully, by offering to check on video footage. I also was explicit in conveying that I wasn't seeking liability claims because these things happen and it was a small enough issue which can happen at any quick economical wash in NYC. Then someone who i was informed to be the manager came out calling me a liar, being unreasonably confrontational and even quoting scriptures lol. The dumbness of that interaction aside, the employees are hard working people. They just need better support from this management (or lack thereof) and equipment that makes incidents like this avoidable. It's unfortunate that this wash is going to cost me hundreds because paint jobs aren't cheap and I'll steer away from this place from now given I care about the the exterior of my vehicle. read more

I go here because there aren't a lot choices in the neighborhood. It's fine for the $25 wash but I can't recommend the detailing/shampooing services. Twice I got the $160 detailing, mediocre at best. There second time, I inspected and complained. The woman who manages is very nice and tries to accommodate you, I showed her and the guys all the spots they basically skipped, inside of the doors, etc. He went back and went over everything and I gave him $20. It's just not worth the money they don't really detail anything. I'd rather pay more and have someone get into all the nooks and crannies. I'll continue to get the basic wash service. read more
