The collection was inspired by Elvis' hit single 'Blue Suede Shoes', the first song on the artist's self-titled debut record, released in 1956. Hamilton says Presley was a dedicated fan of the Ventura from its debut. The "King of Rock and Roll" famously wore the watch in the 1961 movie, Blue Hawaii. The Ventura tribute watch has a blue dial face and a blue suede/alcantara wrist strap (see my photo). The Ventura was the first ever electric watch in 1957. They told me I needed a new movement which would cost me $200 and take 2 months to get the parts and repair it.... Well, long story short, TimeScape was able to diagnose the issue in 5 minutes and all it cost me was $20 for a replacement battery! Overall, the folks at TimeScape were very friendly and obviously provided fair/honest service for my watches. I'm definitely coming back for my future watch repairs!
