They can seem quite busy with a large volume of patients but in my experience they've always been very professional and attempt to do their best. Lastly, I can't forget about Dr. Yee. The door was still open, we went in, and told them can we look quickly we are a returning customer who already know which pair of glasses to look at. They said no, made us leave. We went out the door, checked the clock, still 3:55pm. They made leave before closing time. We waited in the car to pack and leave, and at 4:01 we see the staff leave. Apparently closing time means their staff leaves, not when customers leave. Won't be coming back.

My friend recommended this place as she received excellent services from here. I visited their website and saw a notice on their front page stated that they were opened. I requested for an appointment online. It was a very quick and easy process. I got a response in a timely manner and got my appointment set up. On the day of the appointment, I got there a little early. Due to the current situation and for safety reasons, the office requires all patients to call their office to check in once arrived. The front desk staff was very nice and friendly. I believed her name is Sarah. She came out to grab my ID and forms that I filled out in advance (you can print out the forms online or they can give you forms to fill out when you get there). She told me to wait in my car and she will give me a call when Dr. Vang is ready for me. Within few minutes, she called me. I walked into their office. The place is small but it's very clean. They have many selections of frames to choose from and are nicely organized. Dr. Vang came out and greeted me with a warm smile. She walked me to the back to start my exam. The whole exam process was very pleasant. I got exam for both glasses and contact lenses. Dr. Vang made sure I feel comfortable and have all my questions answered. She took the time to listen to my concerns. She's very professional and so easy to talk to. Once my exam was done, she walked me back to the front so that Sarah can finish with my insurance stuff and to order contacts if I wanted to. I told Sarah I will hold off on ordering contacts as my prescription has changed a bit. I wanted to make sure I can see ok with the new prescription. She told me that I can take my time and to call the office when I'm ready to order. Couple weeks later, I called their office to order a year supply. I spoke with Gao this time. Gao is very nice and friendly as well. She helped me order my contacts through the phone so that I don't have to make a trip to their office. She told me about the rebate program. She sent the rebate forms and receipt to my email. The whole process was fast and easy. Very convenient as well. Dr. Vang and her staffs are all very professional, nice and friendly. My wife, Kathy, and I have been patients of Eye Site of Sacramento for more than 20 years, and I can say without hesitation that the quality of care we have received throughout those years has been exceptional. I was originally referred to Dr. Richard Jones, MD, by my longtime internist, who told me that Dr. Jones was the ophthalmologist trusted by many of Sacramento's own physicians. He assured me that I would be in excellent hands, and he couldn't have been more correct. Over the years, Kathy and I have also had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Christian Serdahl, MD, and Dr. Andrew Chun, OD. Each of these doctors has consistently demonstrated the highest levels of professionalism, knowledge, and genuine concern for their patients. In fact, I actually look forward to my semiannual eye examinations! A few years ago, Kathy underwent cataract surgery through Eye Site, and the results were outstanding. She now enjoys 20/20 vision and never misses an opportunity to remind me of that fact, particularly when I'm putting in my contact lenses each morning! I have now been here twice as the first time they found my eyes were likely just tired and I needed to blink more and possibly use eye drops; this last time I got my first perscription for reading sadly. I work for the state and their visit was covered completely under the vision program through the state so that was nice. Also because my perscription is fairly minor (1.25), they recommended that I just grab a cheap pair of glasses at the pharmacy rather than get fancy expensive glasses through them. They also gave me a perscription in case I did want a fancy pair. I do really like that they suggested something quick and cheap though. Staff greeted me right away and the doctors were also very friendly. The store front seems very nice with a bunch of cute glasses too.
