My service Tech was Caleb, he was informative anf helpful. I have used this company for 5 years now…read moreand I have no issues. I am a monthly member on their plan, every summer they come out and review our system. Great company and people! Thank you Caleb, God Bless.

We contacted Jackson and Sons to come to our home and do some plumbing work to our horse barn. They…read morewere to remove a bathroom sink and toilet and cap the water line that feed into the bathroom. They put a new faucet on the water line on the PVC pipe that came out of the concrete flooring inside the barn. They completed the work and we paid them with a check for approximately $1800.00. The next day, we left for vacation for 5 days. When we returned home, we found water spraying inside the barn where they had put the faucet. It was very hot and mold had already grown all over the door and the walls. There was items stored in the barn that sustained water damage as well. Some of the dirt flooring in one of the horse stalls was wash away from all of the water We shut the valve off and immediately called them. They sent a different tech out to repair the item. When the tech and I examined the faucet, we seen that the metal faucet was screwed into the plastic PVC pipe. This caused the plastic to crack and split which caused the water being sprayed all over the barn. The tech said and I quote, " here is the problem, they screwed metal into PVC and that is not how we are supposed to this." He made the repair correctly and apologized. I asked to have the piece that was installed wrong and he gave it to me. I called Adam(Manager) and Lyman(General Manager) and arranged to meet them to go over the damage. They requested that I just have an estimate done and send it to them. I got an estimate from a local contractor for the property damage which as approx. $11000 and sent it to them. However, due to the extreme amount of mold in the barn, I also had to have an estimate to have the barn Remediated to get rid of and kill the mold. My son has an extreme condition that reacts to mold exposure. I informed them of this and was told to get the estimate and send it to them. I had a licensed remediator come out and give the estimate which was a little over $18000. I sent it to them and they said they wanted to bring their own guy from Servpro out to get his estimate. I met Adam, Lyman, and their Remediator at my house. I showed them the pipe that was installed wrong and told them what their tech had told me. Both Lyman and Adam assured me that this would get handled and were very apologetic. I felt that these were honest men and I felt relieved with their understanding and assurance. Adam received their Remediators estimate and called me. He said that he was not happy with the guys estimate because it did not include everything that was required such as some small construction that the gentleman said they did not do but would get that amount from a contractor and include it in the estimate. The estimate that he sent was a little over $15900. I had another licensed company come out and give an estimate on fixing and remediating everything. This contractor would be one company instead of two coming to my house at different times which would be an inconvenience. His estimate was $34900. I sent that to Adam and Lyman. I had to reach out to Jackson and Sons several times before finally reaching Adam and being told me that they were turning this over to their insurance company. I informed them that this was fine. The insurance company reached out to me and arranged an adjuster to come to the property to give and estimate on the damage. I met with Scott the adjuster and showed him everything. Several days later the insurance called and said that his estimate for the damage was $9900. This did not include the personal property inside. I had to send receipts of the items and the insurance came up with a total of $10668.00. When I asked about the remediation, the insurance agent informed me that Jackson and Sons policy did not have remediation coverage included and I would have to speak with them. I called Adam and told him that they did not have the required coverage on their policy and that they were going to have to pay for the remediation. He said that he would need to get with Lyman on this. After several unanswered calls, I finally reached Adam and he told me that Lyman said that this was an insurance claim and they were not involved. I again explained that we had an average of three estimates of around $18000 that was needed for the damage that they caused to my property. They had the audacity to tell me to turn it into my homeowners. I refused. After several emails and calls, I was told that this was being escalated up and I would be contacted by a Corporate official. I received a call from Caleb who described himself as a Corporate rep for the company. He offered me $5000 of the $18000 to settle with them. I don't think so. To this day, I have offered them a lower amount than the $18000 just to be done with this nightmare. They actually came back and offered me $500 less than the original $5000. Insulted again. Nine months later, my son still can't go in the barn and we haven't seen a dime for their mistake.
