If I could give this place zero stars I would. From taking me back late after my appointment time,…read moreto spending very little time with me, overcharging me and not responding to mailed requests for explanations about my charges...this is one place to avoid at all costs! Upon my departure I was told I needed to pay my bill at the front desk, which I did. A week later, I received another bill telling me I owed more money. The office manager was extremely rude and told me I could write a letter and dispute the charges with the "doctor" which I did. Never heard back. Real classy. Also, the "doctor", Gregory Loo, diagnosed my issue within about 30 seconds or so he thought. Nope. What a quack. Very disappointed in this practice, their office procedures, their lack of communication and the high costs for nothing. Save yourself a lot of time and aggravation and DO NOT go here!!!

I went to another podiatrist in the immediate area. They billed me for dozens and dozens of visits,…read moreinjections, therapeutic treatment, and two surgeries just to throw their hands up in the air after a year and said they couldn't resolve my issue. In truth, the pain was actually worse than when I first came in! I decided to get a second opinion before proceeding with any more appointments and went to Elite Podiatry. In the first five minutes of my visit, after looking at the x-rays, they were able to identify the underlining problem and resolve it. (afterwards) When I asked if I needed to make a follow up appointment, they asked me if I still had any pain, when I told them no then they said then no. At the other podiatrist office they would've scheduled five follow up appointments for billing purposes. Save yourself a headache and a lot of pain and go to elite podiatry first!

This was basically a third opinion. Our first podiatrist said their were bone spurs, and…read moreprescribed orthotics. Fairly conservative, but helpful. He indicated achilles surgery might be needed. Then he joined a medical group, and we sort of wandered away. The second podiatrist went straight to surgery, which we consented to. Basically, detach the achilles, file down the spur, and reattach. After all that, the problem isn't any better than it was. Enter Dr Rowe. He evaluated the foot, and then ordered a series of MRI images to be taken. In hindsight, I have to wonder why the previous guys didn't do that! His conclusion: of course the achilles surgery didn't work because the calf muscle is a bit too short. So the spur is growing again because the underlying problem wasn't fixed. The calf needs to be lengthened. He was very up-front, very friendly, and not rushed. He stayed until all our questions were answered. We've declined for now, but I was impressed that he wanted detailed pictures to see what was really going on, and then made a suggestion that made sense. I think we have a new podiatrist. I suspect that surgery will happen, but for now we're going to live with it.
