I made the mistake of having it done the Monday before Thanksigiving and I was in utter pain the entire week and absolutely nobody would get back to me when I reported the issue. No nurse took this pain seriously because it was obviously an inconvenience during a holiday weekend. To add insult to (literal) injury- their billing department has been a total NIGHTMARE. They've sent me various bills with various totals and when I reached out to my insurance company they said they had been paid and I owed nothing else. I've reached out to them a handful of time and I thought the matter was taken care of. THEN- I get more bills almost a year later. Charging me for the follow-up... the appointment they made to make sure nothing was infected It's NOT an appointment I made for a separate issue. This has felt like a total scam. Doesn't sit well with me. I've been writing yelp reviews for probably more than a decade. I think my credibility speaks for itself, backed by a proven track record. This took a year to even write. Because I can let things go! But when you keep trying suck money out of me... I'm going to start thinking your scammers.

A medical assistant has repeatedly experienced inappropriate and sexually harassing behavior from patients and has brought these concerns directly to the physicians and leadership responsible for supporting her. Despite communicating the seriousness of the situation, there has been little to no meaningful action to protect her or address the broader issue. What is especially concerning is that the response has apparently included telling the employee that she should stop wearing makeup, rather than addressing the inappropriate behavior of the patients responsible for the harassment. An employee's appearance is not an invitation for sexual harassment, and the responsibility for inappropriate behavior should not be placed on the person experiencing it. Employees should not have to repeatedly advocate for basic safety and respect in their workplace. There should be a clear process for reporting patient harassment, appropriate intervention when incidents occur, and meaningful support from the physicians and leadership overseeing these employees. I am intentionally not identifying the employee involved because this is not about putting her name on the internet. It is about bringing attention to a serious workplace issue that needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY. Leadership needs to take reports of sexual harassment seriously, communicate clearly about how employees can report these incidents, and take appropriate steps to protect their staff.

This was basically a third opinion. Our first podiatrist said their were bone spurs, and…read moreprescribed orthotics. Fairly conservative, but helpful. He indicated achilles surgery might be needed. Then he joined a medical group, and we sort of wandered away. The second podiatrist went straight to surgery, which we consented to. Basically, detach the achilles, file down the spur, and reattach. After all that, the problem isn't any better than it was. Enter Dr Rowe. He evaluated the foot, and then ordered a series of MRI images to be taken. In hindsight, I have to wonder why the previous guys didn't do that! His conclusion: of course the achilles surgery didn't work because the calf muscle is a bit too short. So the spur is growing again because the underlying problem wasn't fixed. The calf needs to be lengthened. He was very up-front, very friendly, and not rushed. He stayed until all our questions were answered. We've declined for now, but I was impressed that he wanted detailed pictures to see what was really going on, and then made a suggestion that made sense. I think we have a new podiatrist. I suspect that surgery will happen, but for now we're going to live with it.

Urgent visit Jammed a toe pretty bad and it was painful, purple and swollen! My Podiatrist Dr. Priyanka Begur was not at the Gilbert location today and I needed to be seen before the weekend. Office staff got me in the schedule no problem! Quality of Care 5/5 Dr. Begur ordered in office X-rays and yes that toe was broken. After she secured the toe we were on our way back to East Mesa. At the Gilbert location Dr. Begur and her MA Daniel helped me with a casting for a custom brace to keep me from rolling my injured right ankle which has been terrific! I highly recommend Dr. Begur and the Practice of Foot and Ankle Clinics of Arizona! Sorry to disappoint no ugly photos today LOL. SYOY!

I originally came to see Dr. Saunders for a second opinion regarding treatment I had already…read moreexperienced. After severely fracturing many bones in my foot, I was treated by a surgeon at a different practice over the course of eight months. This treatment included three surgeries, three months of short term disability from my job, weeks off my foot, a gaping wound due to a hematoma underneath my stitches and the list goes on. Also this surgeon used, without my knowledge, an "out of network" anesthesiologist, costing me thousands of dollars of out-of-pocket expenses after I had already covered my out of pocket max for in-network providers. After all the surgeries and weeks of physical therapy, I was extremely dissatisfied with the condition of my foot both functionally and aesthetically. My surgeon at the time said that I should keep up with the PT and that I should be optimistic about getting better functionality eventually and that my focus on the disfigurement was shallow. At first I didn't think that Dr. Saunders was going to offer another shot at getting my severely fractured foot in decent working condition. Fortunately for me, he did offer his services. Because of the severity of my injury, he wanted to make sure my expectations were not too high but he made it clear his opinion was that another surgery would allow me some improvement. Well, he managed to correct my issues WAY beyond what I expected. I was and am thrilled with what he was able to do. My journey isn't over, but it's much easier now that I know I'm in good hands. I've been telling my family that this man is a surgical genius, and clearly an artist as well. My family and close friends were so appalled at the condition of my foot after the first three surgeries that they were pushing me to go for malpractice against my prior surgeon (not anything I would consider) BUT, after seeing my foot after what Dr. Saunders was able to correct, they are so relieved. I could go on forever but just want to mention one last thing....At 8:30 pm the night of my surgery which occurred at 7:30 in the morning, Dr. Saunders called me personally to ask how I was doing. Over a period of eight months and three surgeries, my prior surgeon never called me himself and neither he, nor his staff has reached out to me after I cancelled my last follow-up appointment in October of last year. Dr. Saunders' practice might not have big flat screen TVs in the waiting room, beautiful furniture, a separate medical assistant for everything from x-rays, splint/cast application, blood-pressure measurement, stitch removal (he does ALL of that himself), but they have the real goods. I went to Dr. Saunders because he has mad great credentials but the reason for this verbose review is that he has made an incredible contribution to my happiness.
