First had David cut my hair because I was unable to get into my regular place. I was a walk-in. Luckily he had an opening and could help me look good for a date. His location is great for my location - very easy to get to. He and I hit it off right away. I truly feel that I get my money's worth with the amount of time he spends getting my cut just right. I have difficult hair (I'm sure everyone thinks that, too, right? I mean that they have difficult hair, not that I - this reviewer - has difficult hair. Although If they do think that about me, why are they thinking about me so much?! OK - back to David's review - lol).He seems to find a way to tame my difficult hair and helps me look good. He's also knowledgable about products and can suggest items to help maintain the look once I'm styling it back home. However, I've never felt that he was pushy in suggesting products. Bonus that he is in Luxe because they often have cookies in the front part of the store. I have been going to David for 18 years and have always had a wonderful color treatment. I started with highlights and have now moved on to full color. I am very particular and have never once had a redo. He is meticulous and listens very carefully to what you want. My daughter aged 21 is now going to David as well. She has beautiful highlights that look so natural that her friends all want the same look. It is really hard these days to find a hair stylist that listens to you and does what you want but David is that person. My hair falls into place beautifully, shapes well, the price is so very affordable. I just returned to the U.S., after living in The Netherlands for nearly 16 years, and I was very nervous about someone new cutting and styling my hair, but really there was no need to worry with David.
