these people saved my life. they can help you as well.

in short, Dr. Rogers saved my life, not once, but twice. more capable hands you will not find in this entire city, state or country. i'd wager his expertise is renown the world over. I've had two procedures with Dr. One a neck fusion and the other- the one i'm recovering from now- a redo of a previous lower lumbar fusion. im writing this at 2am, wondering how lucky i am to be alive and mobile, and how much i trust him to make this remotely possible. he is a man who is consumed with making the patient better. He even shortened his vacation to make sure i was ok. his staff- second to none- Angela- a bulldog with a heart of gold- the kind of person you NEED when dealing with insurances. She will make things happen! I trust her like no other. Richard is the smile and pleasantry you need when u walk in to calm you down. a necessity when dealing with the fear of permanent disability. so to summarize, if you are reading this, you have questions. i hope this answers some and allays your fears. Dr . Rogers will make miracles happen. All you need is faith in him to make it happen.

Dr Roger's is the best surgeon you will ever find!! I have had a total of 8 spinal surgeries so I know a great surgeon when I meet one...He has done 2 surgeries for me...The first surgery he did was a redo on my cervical spine... The surgery was done by a previous Surgeon...The second surgery was done September 12, 2018 on my Cervical Spine....He saved me from becoming paralyzed... Dr Roger's is not only the best surgeon he is compassionate, kind, loving, & cares about you as an individual.. Some have said on this site that they have to wait too long once they arrive for their appointments.... However Dr Roger's spend as much time with you as he did with the patient before you.. He does not rush you thru your appointment...it is not like a drive thru.... Good things come to those who wait....and you can't get better then Dr Rogers... and his staff is wonderful....always cheerful and beyond helpful... So if you have to wait a bit bring a book, iPad, cell phone, water and a good attitude cause you are about to see the best Doctor you could ever meet.... Take this from one who has been down the road to hell and now I am back!! Thank you Dr Rogers!!!

Dr. Lee changed my life. I went to him in February 2026 as a second opinion on a herniated disc…read more(L5/S1) that was pressing on my sciatic nerve and causing sever left leg pain. Prior to that appointment, I was in PT for 2 months which only made the pain worse and then received an epidural shot from a pain physician. The epidural shot wore off after 6 weeks and the pain came back in mid-March 2026 worse and persistent. I made the decision to get a microdiscectomy and got it done on April 21, 2026. Dr. Lee and his office is very professional. He takes his time and answers every question I had about the surgery, recovery, and anything I could think about. He never rushes me out the door and spends the time talking through everything with me. He called for two days after the surgery, and his team was able to answer any questions via phone I had. Dr. Lee has been a resource at several milestone appointments: 2 weeks post op, 6 weeks post op, and 4 months post op. He also gave me a great recommendation for the PT required after my 6 weeks of recovery. Two things I would like to point out is the hospital nurses all had great things to say about him the day of the surgery and kept telling me I was in good hands. The OR nurse even told me she's consulting with him about her pain. The PT office I selected based on Dr. Lee's recommendation has also been great. At my first appointment with them during the physical exam, based on my physical responses to the exam, they told me I had a great surgeon who worked on me, and I was in great shape just 6 weeks after the surgery. I know a full recovery can take up to a year so I am still in recovery and doing PT (more for my sanity) as I had a large herniated disc, but I am no longer in pain and feel like my prior self 95% of the time. I would recommend Dr. Lee in a heartbeat!

I prepared the disc to be mailed off with the USPS, which required a signature once delivered to Dr. Lee's office. I did this because the disc has my Personal Health Information (PHI) and my Personal Identification Information (PII). I also called Dr. Lee's office and spoke his female staff members - twice - to alert them of the disc being sent and the need for someone's signature. I was brushed off and ignored. I few days later, I get a bill for the office visit. Long story short, my disc sat at the USPS in Glendale until it was returned to me by USPS as no one went into the USPS to sign for the disc. A female staffer calls me to ask if I had received their bill, to which I told her I had. She tells me to ignore it because they filed the claim wrong!?!? I would not recommend anyone going here.

Although I live in Long Beach and had limited time to visit in person, Dr. Melikian was kind enough to initiate contact via email and responded promptly. He arranged a quick phone consultation at no charge. He came across as very amiable, genuinely concerned, and highly knowledgeable about the subject. During our conversation, he brought up additional tests and treatment options I wasn't previously aware of. The call was definitely productive and appreciated. My only gripe, generally speaking--not specific to his practice--is that stem cell treatments are exorbitantly priced and not covered by insurance. Expect to pay anywhere from $6,000 to $9,000 or more for various stem cell treatment options. So, not a go just yet until I figure out how to come up with the money, I will have to live with my back pain.

I had a different issue now with my back. There are different specialists for backs so they assigned me Dr. Ghayoumi (also great!). The care he provided helped solve my back issue and I was better in a few weeks. My negative review is on the facility and their costs. I showed up right on time to my appointment, but didn't have time to fill out their paperwork beforehand. I was chewed out (scolded like a child) by one of their front desk staff. She made me feel extremely embarrassed because I didn't complete their paperwork beforehand... I went in for a total of 2 visits. First visit, I saw Dr. Ghayoumi for 15 to 20 minutes and got an X-ray. In total, I was there for about half an hour to 45 minutes. They billed my insurance for $2K. For my follow up visit, I was in and out in about 15 minutes and insurance was billed another $350. I understand that these rates are pre-negotiated and contracted, but that's just exuberant. To summarize, the doctors are great. My issues were resolved. But their facility and some staff are not so great.

Amazing and what was really amazing after having to file medical malpractice grievances and so forth was Julia her operator. It appears that specific orthopedic energy located at that office is all the same rude, a since of entitlement and I have no idea but I heard the phone call on three way and non o e talks to my wife like that. From my very first appointment, Dr. Rasouli and his entire team were not only exceptionally talented but also incredibly compassionate and empathetic. They took the time to answer my questions, made me feel comfortable throughout the process, and genuinely cared about my recovery. Before surgery, I could barely stand, walk, or sit for more than 30 seconds because of severe nerve pain. The most amazing moment was waking up after surgery and realizing that the extreme nerve pain I'd been living with was gone. Just two weeks into recovery, I was already seeing major improvements. Today marks three weeks since surgery, and I'm back to driving, running errands, and becoming stronger every day. While I still have healing ahead of me, I can already see myself getting back to the things I love most--hiking, working out, traveling, and producing events. Choosing Dr. Rasouli was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
