I met "Dr.Dave" in May of 2003; have since been a patient and have been happy to recommend him to others many times.
Most people who know me know that I'm a runner. Over the past forty+ years, my running has included 4 marathons and countless other running events/races of somewhat lesser distances. So, having a chiropractor I know and trust is a must.
During the past fifteen years, Dr. Dave has been the doc I depend on so that can enjoy not only my health for my running regime, but also for my family and my work. My 'get up and go' needs maintenance too.
Late in September 2003, I saw Dr. Dave when something dramatic and off the norm charts happened, because his practice is based on a holistic approach. He always gives patients the time it takes to diagnose and make adjustments to address their issues. He was the doc who first recognized that my kidneys were source of extreme pain and flu-like symptoms I was experiencing.
Initially I used a natural detox remedy. It helped, but after a week of ups and downs, the symptoms came roaring back with a vengeance. He then told my wife to me take a hospital ER, where I was subsequently diagnosed with Total Renal Failure. With no history of kidney problems, further examination including ultrasound, found that e-Coli had shut down both kidneys. By that time, I had become delirious; was even hallucinating. The physicians said that I had been 'on the edge' and could have lost my life, had I not followed Dr. Dave's recommendation. Physicians used an antibiotic, Levaquin, destroying the e-Coli within a week. With each day there was more talk of dialysis. It was avoided, as the e-Coli was terminated.
I returned home after a week in the hospital and was on the road to a full recovery. Three weeks later I had regained the nearly 30 pounds I had lost and returned to normal activities.
That's a thumbnail sketch of why I see and recommend Dr. David Dahlhauser. He gets 5 Stars from me and he has from those I've sent to him, as well.
Happy trails,
