Great Ortho! Great bedside manner and takes the time to explain. He is popular, so the office wait time can be a bit.

Kim is so kind and patient and I really felt better about healing from my shoulder injury after seeing him.

My brother chose him, (he also said- if I have to recover for months, why not in California?). Kip had an excellent experience and 5 years on neither he, nor his trainer, can detect any difference between his left and right shoulder- he has full flexibility and strength. So when I eventually needed my own surgery I too chose Dr Kim. I am only 6 weeks out from surgery, and am so pleased with my recovery thus far. As my brother did before me, I followed their instructions carefully, and am now in the Physical Therapy phase and very happy with my progress. Dr Kim and his staff have been incredibly kind and attentive, but it is his skill as a surgeon that ultimately leads me to recommend him.

I went in today and saw Dr. Kim I had an x-ray on my wrist done. Dr. Kim came in to let me know that I had no major break or fracture but that was dealing with what is tendinitis I loved his bedside manner and his knowledge on the spot where I was feeling a lot of my pain. He prescribed me some medication and a wrist brace. And I will be coming back to have it re checked once meds are out. Staff was friendly and welcoming the office was super clean.

My mother-in-law fell and fractured her right pinky finger. thanks to her PCP who sent her to get imaging done after the incident. We found out exactly what was wrong with her. She had been in pain for a while. You know when it comes to caring for a loved one with Dementia is hard as they cannot express fully what's troubling them. They called my mother-in-law we went to the back immediately we were in a room. In comes a PA, he is going to get a few xrays to see how her pinky is healing. Doctor Wong, mentioned if he put a splinter on her finger it would cause more harm than good due to her dementia. Plenty parking beautiful location

Excellent medical care, but unacceptable front desk experience…read more I want to start by saying that the medical care at CSOS Fountain Valley was excellent. Dr. Wong was outstanding--patient, professional, kind, and took his time explaining everything clearly and calmly. He reassured us without panic and made a stressful situation feel manageable. I truly cannot say enough good things about him. Unfortunately, the front desk experience was the complete opposite. This is an orthopedic office. I was here the week prior after an accident, completed my MRI, and returned after they received the results. The office already had my ID, insurance, and full information on file. When I arrived, the front desk staff was on her computer with AirPods in her ears the entire time. I was told "one second," ignored, and met with a rude, dismissive attitude. I was asked to email my insurance again even though it was already on file. The most concerning part happened when a nurse came out looking for a patient named Mohammed. The nurse asked the front desk who Mohammed was. Instead of checking the system--while holding my ID--the front desk staff stood up and pointed at me and said, "that guy." The nurse then came back out and loudly asked, "Are you Mohammed?" in the waiting area. This was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. My name is clearly not Mohammed, and they had my ID in hand. Being repeatedly singled out and asked if I was "Mohammed" based solely on my appearance (brown skin and a beard) was humiliating and should never happen in a medical setting. To make matters worse, once I was taken back, it became clear that my information was entered incorrectly, and the doctor later came looking for a different patient because I was listed under the wrong name/room. Patients coming to an orthopedic office are often injured, anxious, and in pain. Front desk staff should help reduce stress--not create it. While Dr. Wong's care was exceptional, the front desk behavior made the visit far more stressful than it ever should have been. I hope management takes this seriously, because the contrast between the quality of the doctor and the front desk experience is striking.
