Anne and I had a fabulous time at David Fulton Winery with Richard and Delina. The wines are very good. We learned allot about the oldest winery in California. They produce only a small amount, but their wine is awesome. Very flavorful, smooth and each has their own story. The wines are priced very well and will go very well with dinner or any foods. They have allot of history to tell about the winery and about how the wines are made along with the process. It is very cool and I highly recommend visiting this winery.

A family owned winery for over 100 years and one of the stops on our tour. We sampled some lovely whites and reds and had a picnic lunch on their patio overlooking the vineyards. It truly was a woderful experience and one we will always rememeber.

The David Fulton winery is my first legitimate tasting experience at a small boutique winery. Their claim to fame is being the "Oldest Continuously Owned and Operated Family Vineyard In California". When you arrive you are greeted by the host dog, breed unknown, enter through a pair of gorgeous barn doors, and step into the main production room. Our host was Richard and he treated us to various tastings in the production room. He gives you the winery history and describes the production process while seamlessly intertwining stories of his youth - mailbox baseball anyone? The tasting moves to the cellar below where we taste from various barrels. We tasted the current release Petit Sirah and the future release Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. I get deep jammy flavors and a bit of smoke in their wine. The wine hangs on the glass and the flavor stays on your palate for a bit. I can see it all aging well. If I had to do the classic English 101 assignment and describe my visit in one word it would be 'intimate'. More likely that not, you are going to taste with someone involved in every step of the production process. You will be able to ask questions about why certain methods were chosen, what didn't work, and what is. At the end of it all you sit in a perfectly placed porch and stare out at the rows of grapes that you hope to taste in the coming years. NOTE: Appointment only. Tasting Fee $45.

This is a hidden gem! We went to many high end wineries in Napa and this was my favorite find! Wine is good and staff is fantastic. It was nice to break up the day with such a wonderful find!!!

The best view!

Great wine and great ambiance (Jason is very entertaining!!). I cannot wait for the bottling of their Simillon Reserve--amazing! Cheers to Jason Elkin and Richard!

Celebrating a birthday.

Great stop on our wine tour! Loved visiting with Richard and brought home two bottles of #bromance. Keep up the personal attention, it won us all over!!

I'd imagine that the tasting experience is pretty strongly shaped by the person serving you at the bar and the guy helping me was super friendly, down to earth, and yet still very knowledgeable and serious about the craft even busting out a 3D map of the region to teach me about the various appellations in the area. Awesome experience, gorgeous spot, busy but didn't feel frantic, even on a sunny weekend.

It was very nice that they had a large selection of cheese and meats we could purchase to take home with us. They also had tons of accessories as well that were priced very well and seemed like nice quality. And the lady behind the cheese counter (I forgot her name) was super helpful and knowledgeable about what cheeses would go great with our wine, same for the ladies behind the meat counter! I only gave four stars because the girls at the register were not very friendly, and the lady that checked us in when we first got there was also not very friendly. Also, the restrooms were pretty gross and needed to be cleaned more frequently. Other than that this was a fun place to visit! We did walk in which was nice so if you need somewhere to do a last minute or unplanned tasting this is a great place!

The best thing about Alpha Omega is that is that it's very family friendly. Not many wineries welcome children and this location was very accommodating. Our children were well behaved, I kept them occupied with lots of arts and craft activities, but my child still end up knocking over a glass of wine. Our server Jokayla was so gracious with us and helped us clean up. She was also very accommodating with everyone's taste preferences and offered customized recommendations for us. This is one of the wineries that did not require an upfront charge to enter which I appreciate so much. Not everyone in our party drank. Up to 2 adults can share a $75 flight of wine. If you purchase 2 or more bottles of wine, the tasting fee is waived. The pours are also plenty so this is a great deal. I just loved their flexibility. Valet parking was free! The winery is upscale, with beautiful views of the vineyard and the water fountain if you get terrace seating. We had reservations for 10:30am and had front row at the terrace. We had a relaxing time and this is one winery I will highly recommend to families. 100% we will come back and enjoy this beautiful location and great service!

Since wine preferences vary from person to person, this review will be about the tasting experience only. The tasting started with their sparkling brut rosé, which was pretty tasty, however, it seemed to lose its bubbles after a short few minute walk to their fermentation and aging facility, which indicates to me it had been opened for quite some time. The "tour" itself lasted less than 5 minutes and didn't really come with too much of an explanation--it was more or less just allowing us access to the winemaking facility and showing the barrel room. The tasting was seated in their covered, outdoor patio--a beautiful space--a included 3 wines in addition to the brut rosé: 2025 Estate Sauvignon Blanc, 2022 Cabernet Franc Blend, and the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon 'RLC'. One thing I really dislike about Napa Valley tastings is when they pour you wines you cannot buy because they're available to club members only. It's quite pervasive in the valley and unfortunately, Crocker & Starr was no different. The 2025 Estate Sauvignon Blanc was only available for purchase to club members. In addition, if you like to know the technical details for each wine, they do not have any tech sheets/production notes available on their website or at the tasting. They provide empty bottles of the wines in the tasting, however they didn't match the vintage so it wasn't even possible to know basic information like the ABV of the wines. It immediately sets off alarm bells in my mind when a winery is opaque with the winemaking/product details. Some of us want to know the final ABV, RS, TA, etc, and to not have this information available anywhere is quite bizarre, especially with many producers moving toward more transparency rather than less. Our host was friendly but not necessarily super knowledgeable about the production of the wines. For example, when we asked about RS in the Sauvignon Blanc, she started talking about brix at harvest, which unfortunately has nothing to do with RS in the wine, which she later claimed was 0g/L--a value that seemed contradictory to the palate experience of the wine and impossible to verify without tech sheets. Overall, it was a standard tasting experience and from where I was sitting, not at all worth $95/person. Yes, I get it--Napa is expensive and they're selling "experiences" rather than tastings. However, based on our experience, this was merely a tasting and you can get a lot better ones for cheaper in the valley.

While the vineyard is clearly supposed to be Italian, the best wines are French blends (even the one carrying the name of the owner) and the pizza served after the tasting is an abomination of pizza that any Italian should be ashamed of. The tater tots were good but this is symbolic of the overall experience - it's basically dive-bar quality dressed up as a fancy wine bar. Beyond that, the price of the wines are outrageous.
