Regarding the level of dental service(cleaning and filling), I honestly cannot complain…read more The reason for the one-star review is based on Dr. Lemons not honoring what his employees tell clients when it comes to being an in-network provider. Here is what happened: I needed to see a dentist as we recently moved to the area, so I called and spoke with someone in the office and specifically asked if Dr. Lemons was a preferred in-network dentist on my dental plan (As I knew that they would only cover the costs of the cleanings if he was). I was told that he was a preferred in-network provider by the lady who answered the phone that day, so I scheduled the cleaning. The cleaning itself went normally and it was determined that I needed to get a filling, so we scheduled another appointment. At the beginning of the next appointment, I met with the office clerk and she provided a statement of what the billing would look like with my insurance coverage and recommended that I pay the portion ahead of time (about $50) and that my insurance would cover the rest. I paid the $50 and got the filling and went home. I then started receiving bills from the office and just figured it was because the insurance was taking a while to pay them because I do not have to pay for preventative care on this plan and already paid the deductible for the filling. Dr. Lemons office then called me a few months later and said that I needed to pay the bill, at which time I explained my situation and how my insurance was supposed to cover the rest. The lady who called me told me that Dr. Lemons was not a preferred in-network provider and that is why my insurance didn't cover the costs as was expected. I explained to her that I would not have gone to see Dr. Lemons had I known he wasn't in-network and that is why I specifically asked before scheduling the appointment. She told me that I still needed to pay that I should've checked myself with my insurance company. I told her that I did check when I asked their employee was told he was and I, as a consumer should be able to trust what his employee said. She would still not budge on the matter so I told her that I would like the manager to call me. The manager called and I explained my situation and she said she would talk to Dr. Lemons and get back to me. Today she called and told me that Dr. Lemons said I still needed to pay the amount owed regardless of what his employee had told me. I promptly paid the bill and now will be posting my experience on all social media platforms to warn my fellow consumers to not trust what his office says about him being an in-network provider on your insurance plan and that you should check for yourself. I have canceled all of my future appointments and will switch to a dental practice that will honor what their employees tell their clients.

(I'm not fond of the pediatric tooth-factories where kids are herded and churned out in between video games.) From the moment that I called and spoke to Anna to make the appointment to walking in the door and meeting her, and everything in between until she waved goodbye, it was as dental-delight. The hygienist, the dentist, and Anna were all friendly, informative, and efficient, and the office itself was clean and orderly. As a new patient (and a 2 year old, at that) my daughter was treated with kindness to make her first cleaning anything but the traumatic tears that I was half-expecting out of her. Nice touches like scented warm towels, Disney channel on the TV, water bottles, and the goody bag for new patients made our visit a stand-out.

Not only does my entire family visit this dentist, we have sent in our friends and neighbors as well. I personally have had a great experience with getting veneers from Dr. Vo. The experience was smooth from start to finish and my teeth look so much better. The process was much easier than I had anticipated and the results over delivered!!! Last week I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Vo. My friends thought I was crazy for being awake, honestly there was no discomfort with some local numbing and the best part was I had NO discomfort after the extractions. Either Dr. Vo is a wizard dentist or I have no pain receptors in my mouth. Dr. Vo is very skilled and his staff is amazing!

I'd been a…read morepatient for nearly five years and scheduled a routine cleaning in mid-January for March 31. On March 30 around 3 PM, they texted asking me to confirm and to send photos of my insurance card, warning I'd be treated as self-pay if I "failed" to do so. Interesting choice of words. After sending the photos, I called to confirm receipt. Instead of checking, the associate asked me to recite numbers from my card. I asked her to review what I'd just sent; she did and then abruptly said they no longer accept my insurance due to new ownership since December 2025. They obviously bought the book of business from the previous provider months ago and "failed" to reach out to customers to flag changes in their insurance policy, and blamed the outgoing provider. While refusing to accept responsibility, they disclosed that their current provider wasn't credentialed and that they'll accept my insurance again after resolving the issue in hopefully another few months. NEWS FLASH: the previous owners were credentialed, so the problem is YOURS, not theirs. I asked to speak with a manager, they said she was busy and would return my call the next day. lol They are probably losing customers by the minute at this point. There goes another one!

When I initially called to establish care and schedule a new patient cleaning, I was specifically instructed to text a copy of my insurance card (front and back) the same day. I did exactly that and received confirmation that my information had been received. Following this, I received multiple appointment confirmations and completed all requested new patient paperwork. However, when I arrived for my 7:00 AM appointment, after providing both my military ID (Tricare) and state ID, I was told--at the front desk--that they do not accept my insurance. This was extremely frustrating and, frankly, unacceptable. Insurance verification is a basic step that should be completed before confirming an appointment, especially after the office explicitly requested and confirmed receipt of my insurance information in advance. To make matters worse, the situation was then redirected back onto me, with the explanation that I had completed my paperwork "too late," despite confirming the appointment multiple times and having already provided the necessary insurance documentation days prior. This does not justify the failure to verify coverage before scheduling or confirming the visit. Patients rely on accurate information when choosing in-network providers, particularly when those providers are listed as in-network on the Tricare website. Wasting a patient's time due to internal miscommunication or lack of verification is highly unprofessional. I hope the office takes steps to improve their verification process so that future patients do not experience the same issue.
