He is friendly, reassuring and lays out all the options for you very clearly if you have to have advance dental work (implants) like I did. I need to give Dr. Michael Vaughn and his dental assistant Sarah in the Braselton office another 5-Stars for the way they handled my crown replacement and infected root extraction. I went under the Nitrus gas for the first time with this procedure and that combined with the Novocain canceled out almost all the pain. I love the staff and the facility. Super professional and clean. The reasons I took off a star: 1) There's a really strong air freshener in the lobby (or, there was one when I went). Seems silly to complain about, but I'm severely allergic to a chemical that's often found in those (and candles), and it can cause me to break out in hives. 2) Someone there -- not sure who, but it was someone who worked there -- was very loud and vocal about their religious views while I was waiting in the lobby. Regardless of beliefs, discussing religious beliefs/hearing them discussed can be quite triggering if someone had a bad experience with it. I am one of those people. read more

BGW atmosphere, staff and providers are all so wonderful I was having some extreme pain In some a back back teeth, I was able to get a fast appt as a new patient, my first appointment was wonderful everyone was so kind and they provided two treatment plans for me one , went over all payment options and what to expect for these treatments..one being getting my wisdom teeth removed. They went over all my questions and took there time explaining to me why and how they would be removed. I had my removed surgery yesterday, it was quick and absolutely painless. The doctor gave his personal number in case of emergency and sent me how with well planned and explained post op instructions. I highly recommend BGW to anyone looking for a dentist that's is going to make you feel welcomed, appreciated, and cared for. read more

The named has changed to BGW (Bennett, Greene, & Wood) so don't be confused (like I was) if you call them or swing by their office. There is also a 4th dentist (Vaughn) who has recently joined the practice. The service levels are still superior, the staff are continually friendly, and my experience is still unparalleled with any other dentist practices I've visited. Even after being absent for more than 6 months, some of the regular staff I met when I first went here still remember me by name without having to ask. I swear I don't think my old dentist office even knew my name--what I look like, yes, maybe, but not my name since I've NEVER been addressed as so before they look at my chart. What I really appreciated when I went to get my cleaning today was the complimentary service they included. I was going to jump over to my orthodontist to see if they could repair my permanent retainer that has come loose, but BGW suggested I could have it done right then if an exam room was available. I love them for this because this would have cost me $100 ish to get it repaired at my orthodontist--or so that's what I was roughly told over the phone. I still remember the discounts one front office personnel gave me because she pitied my horrible situation with my old dentist. Yup. I still remember the $1500 or so I had to dish out to get a root canal and multiple fillings since my old dentist screwed me over. Long story -- but I was maxed out on dental insurance and it wasn't a very fun experience for me. The only con is I believe the cleaning prices have gone up (from $120 ish to $138). This includes a standard cleaning ($88) plus a thorough exam from the dentist ($50). But, I love it each time I visit this place as you get the experience and vibe for the price you pay for. read more

Brought my daughter for a cavity her regular dentist couldn't fill until end of the year.. totally nuts. She (we) received excellent service and they were very gentle and kind with her. Afterwards, my daughter requested switching from the dentists she's been with since she was 5, so that definitely says something. Highly recommend!! read more

Love this office with their doctors and their staff! They are alwayss so patient, kind, helpful, and professional. For example, today I arrived right at 7:30 for my appt. My company had changed insurance companies and I didn't even think about what was needed from my side to do this. I go back and my amazing hygenist begins examining my teeth. The insurance lady comes back and explains how she needs my dental card bc I had given her my medical card. Oops. Then she comes back bc I gave her my old, prior dental insurance. Still just as sweet as if this is the first issue. Then she comes back and says your new insurance is saying you aren't insured. The hygenist and insurance rep waited for me to contact my HR and get things clarified. I felt awful as I know this was putting my hygenist in a difficult situation with her schedule and I definitely had take up more time than alloted just to get my insurance squared away. This was all on me yet the staff never changed their tone or their demeanor. They continued to be patient, kind, professional and helpful! Can't say enough about the staff and office! Two thumbs up for always being patient! AND... they always seek the best equipment and techniques for their patients. They upgrade a device to do the cleaning for people with braces, SOOO MUCH BETTER. I no longer feel like I am being sand-blasted (not due to pain, just the texture of the old stuff). This dental practice is amazing. It's conveniently located in Gainesville, GA and the office space is so warm and cozy. Every time I go in the staff is so helpful and kind. You can really tell that they love their jobs and it reflects in the patience and understanding that they have with their customers. I recently got my wisdom teeth removed and was more than a little nervous. They let me come in early, speak with the dentist, and assured me that the experience would be a smooth one. Next thing I know I was waking up and my wisdom teeth were gone. I had no complications at all and healed really quickly. They are accessible in the event you have dental emergencies and their staff is accommodating in working on your financial needs and payment options, as they recognize dental care is important but sometimes costly. They are amazing in their work with those who have fears about dental work, timid adults to scared children!! Lastly, I really like that this office gives back in so many ways throughout the year to their community, through supporting local educators, fundraising for childhood cancer and other cancer research / treatment, offering programs for patients and families during holidays and so much more. This place is AWESOME!!! I've had a lot of dental work done by previous dentist and the pain and suffering plus the costs were outrageous. This group of people do a great job and the after effects of any procedure or cleaning is minimal. The dentists are excellent. They fixed my son's chipped tooth right there on the spot, my kids love going to see "the dentist" which never happened when I was a kid. All the ladies that work there are extremely nice and easy to talk with. They always go out of their way to make the appointments convenient. They even called to check up on me after a surgery the following day. Love these people and since have convinced my parents to change to them as well as several other friends. read more

No apology for their mistake, no time to ask questions before doc gone to next case, no hesitancy to give me the bill. So not impressed with that behavior. Went to recommended endodontist...was referred back to BWG. [oh brother!] Called with questions and though the staff was willing to help could not get clear answers. Fancy office, clean and pretty. But dentist was so greedy he tried to get me to let him take about $600 out of my pocket to fill 3 teeth that were being pulled to make room for braces. I already had an orthodontist and oral surgeon, but he was insisting I let him do everything. NOT impressed - at least not in a good way. read more
