One shop I miss about not living in London is David And Goliath; they have a shop in Covent Garden and one on Carnaby Street. They sell as concessions at House Of Fraser and other stores, and their stuff also sometimes ends up in TK Maxx although the best stuff is in the London stores, and, as I recently discovered, thankfully, on their website.
The site is easy to navigate; you select mens, womens, kids or accessories, and then go from there. You can click on pictures to get to see them bigger, and overall it's very accurate in terms of what you see on the screen being what you get when you open your parcel.
I love the silly, witty T shirts they sell; these are slogans with pictures, usually wordplay, such as a fork and a spoon cartoon, with Spooning leads to forking written on the front.
Prices are the same as they are in the shop, although they do not seem to stock sale items sadly. They only charge £2.95 for postage but I ordered 2 T shirts with my last order and postage was free, so I think it's £40 and over gets you free delivery but I don't know for sure.
The items arrived promptly once ordered and were in perfect condition but my parcel was not sealed properly; it was in fact open at one end (not having been tampered with in transit; I could tell).
As I have not returned anything, I cannot comment on this service, nor can I tell you about their customer service as I have not experienced it either.
You can get some great little gifts such as silly socks and even lip balm so it's definitely worth a look. read more
