Went in there 3 days ago. Asked how she can help me. Anyway, I pointed at a few shoes of theirs and she said she didnt have my size "10.5". Despite them supposedly being their best sellers. Not just one but a few. Didn't make a suggestion/recommendations of ones that that actually had in my size. Finally, I got lucky and found one I would like but didnt like the color of the ones they brought out, mind you the color they had one display was the color I wanted. I was told they get that from the other store the next day. I left my name and phone number. Never heard back. They were unhelpful. They gave me the feeling that they really didnt want my business. Reminded me of that sales lady in Pretty Woman that asked Julia Robert's to leave her store. Won't be back. read more

I went to daves running shop on February 10,2023. I purchased a pair of brooks beast 23 for right about $140.00 dollars. I talked to an employee on the phone and he assured me that Daves had a ninety day return policy. I went to this location and I talked to the sales associate. He was the one stating that I had this ninety day return policy. I believe that in going to the store he saw that I was not as physically fit as he was he brought out a pair of shoes and I was going to try them on and he was talking to the boss and he was like we can't help you? I am wondering if this was an issue with my weight? I am being body shamed? This was a horrible experience and I was treated like someone who whould not shop at this store becuase I didn't have a certain body type? I am thinking that if this company can't even go by the warranty that is offered when you buy the shoe? This is not a reputable company. read more

Sort of have to agree with 'JC's' post. I've visited the Perrysburg store twice in the last year hoping to purchase some light trainers. Was ignored for 20 minutes the first time; 10 minutes the second. I even stayed and walked around to let the folks there see that I was there. I'm not sure if its because I was a male, or perhaps I didn't appear to be a sub 20:00 5K person. In any event, Second Sole is just down the street, and I have yet to have bad service from them. I will still visit Dave's only to pick up pre-registered race packets, but that's about it. read more

Came in today at 2pm. I knew what shoes to buy, and was going to purchase them here. Went to the men's section to try on the shoes I wanted and a couple other running shoes to be sure it is in fact what I wanted. No one came by to offer help. They were all chatting away with a customer at the register by the women's section. I was there for about 10-15 min. I tried on 4 different pairs of shoes. I even had time to use their feet measurement tool to measure my own feet and get the width I didn't have anymore time to waste so I walked out of the store clicked on the Zappos's app, and I'll be getting my shoes in 3 days. I was hoping to get them right away here, but at least I saved an extra $30 read more

Dave's is always my go-to whenever I'm in the need for new running shoes and this past visit had to be the best experience I've had so far. I had a few shoes in mind that I wanted to try and based on my interests, Logan (the associate that helped me) had some other suggestions for me to try as well. I was highly satisfied in all the shoe choices Logan suggested and found a pair that wasn't really on my radar. So glad Logan was able to help me find the perfect shoe and he was also very hospitable, helping entertain my 1-year old child while I tried on numerous shoes and tested them out on the in-store treadmill.
