Came a little before opening and there was a line already forming. They didn't pressure you to buy anything else if you were only there for the free slider which was nice. Also you get to spin a wheel to get a pen, sticker, and free tender for next purchase. They did skip or forget my order as the people before and after me cleared out and I was the only one left in the restaurant. They did offer me a free drink and gave me an additional slider which was nice. But I think that person that order a slider might be missing one now.. These chicken sliders are bigger than your typical slider. Anymore than 2 would make you stuffed! The chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The slaw cut the heat and the potato bun soaked up all the sauce from the chicken and the slaw. You get a nice crunch from the pickles as well. Overall great chicken spot, despite the order mishap. Never been to a Dave's Hot Chicken before, but this is my niece's favorite fast food restaurant so it was suggested we come here for lunch. I was not hungry so just split a chicken tender and fries with my sister, while the nieces and nephews ordered their own combos. The chicken tender I ate was good, would considered trying it in the future. It was definitely better with Dave's Hot Honey, which I think is the same brand we order a gallon at a time for work with our banquet orders. Quality whole pieces of chicken and good spice blends, I can taste why it is a favorite. The fries are decent on their own, but next level with Hot Honey or Dave's Sauce or Reaper Ranch. WOW can't believe I've been missing out this whole time!!!! I tried Dave's hot chicken for the first time today and it was soooo good. I thought it'd be just a whatevers fried chicken place but I was so wrong! I got the top-loaded fries medium spicy. It was probably a 2/5 spiciness for me but my tolerance is pretty high. The fries are crinkle cut and has the perfect blend of salty with a tiniest bit of sweetness. Very well balanced flavor! The mix of spicy mayo, coleslaw, sweet sour tangy salty spices all made my meal so delicious. The chicken is SUPER juicy too!!! I got a regular size for $12-ish which came with 6 chicken bites and I was super full after eating 4 of them and about half my fries. We've had Dave's before and never thought to leave a review. Last night me and my husband stopped for a late night dinner and must say these sliders always hit the spot even more so now that I'm pregnant. The chicken has a nice light crispiness to it and is juicy too, the slaw is always light and tasty and the pickles add that salty crunch. We like that it doesn't taste like a regular frozen fast food tender it definitely has a quality of freshness we enjoy. We like to eat ours HOT with added cheese to both our sliders and fries. I also found you can use the app the accumulate points and redeem rewards that way too which is nice. Besides that this location is also our favorite as you can see they keep on top of it and is always clean from the tables, counters to the restroom. The cleanliness is attractive to me as I don't enjoy dirty/dusty places to sit and eat. The employees are welcoming and friendly and you can see the cooks working hard in the back as your food is made to order. We appreciate the employees as a whole but the cooks just a little bit more as they do manage to do a great job. We were just there last night and right now I'm thinking about going back for another. I ordered regular top loaded fries and a regular Cinnamon Toast Crunch top loaded vanilla shake. There is a couple of different heat levels. I like spicy foods so I ordered very hot which is the second most spicy level. Regular size gets you 6 bites. Since the shake is top loaded make sure to mix in the lolthe top so it is dispersed throughout the shake. The only con is the shake is thick and the straw is not useable right away. Listen as much as Dave's is good it feels so over seasoned even my tongue needed Lotion so it didn't dry up, the sauce is great. The service there and the people working is amazing. The food though I just can't handle order anything past light heat. Do that and they give you a piece of chicken as red blood. I mean I cannot even taste their chicken all I'm tasting is seven layers of paprika on a dry rub on fried chicken. And it did not live up to my expectations. Just went and had it for the first time. Ive never had Daves Hot chicken before. I was stoked to try their take on the spicy chicken trend. I ordered the 1 sando ,1 tender and fries combo. I Asked "for here" to dine in. Receipt tag also has printed "for here". But they served it to me in a black to-go box and plastic bag. Other customers are dining with there meals on a red tray basket. No biggie but preferred a tray for the dine in experience like everyone else. Onto the Sando. Top bun was warm but bottom bun was refrigerated cold. kinda weird. The chicken tender they have inside was good but i felt the cole slaw they used lacked any flavor. The Tender piece were good and well seasoned for flavor and had good texture. Could be a little. bit more crispier tho. Also the medium spice level can be kicked up a notch. The medium was barely a kick and more like a super mild. In comparison Medium at howling rays kicks up a good sweat going and nose drool for me. The fries were very good and crispy with good seasoning. The come back sauce was very good as well. It comes out of a plastic pouch tho not inna container. So im not sure what kind of processed packaged ingredients comes in it to preserve the sauce. I prefer just having the tender over the sando next time. I would not go for the sando. But this time it was completely different--it was just as spicy as the Reaper I had before. After eating it, I experienced a severe burning sensation in my stomach. I specifically avoid Reaper because the last time I ate it, I ended up in the ER and was diagnosed with gastrointestinal bleeding. My kiddy size order literally came with 18 fries on the side, 6 pickles on the side, and another 3 pickles on the small chicken sandwich. This was not a meal, more like a overpriced snack. The interior was clean, and my food was ready within 5-10 minutes. The chicken were fairly moist and seasoned well. The fries were notably very crispy and fluffy for a fast food fry and we'll seasoned. However, all these positives are at the cost for a relatively high price tag for fast food. Dave's is worth getting for those who do not mind spending the few extra dollars for a better fast food experience.
