Parking is limited but if you're lucky, you'll find a free and open spot, otherwise, there's an attendant and he has some spots, not sure what/if he charges or if just the tip. Luckily, we found an open spot. There's some outdoor seating and some indoor seating. Outdoors is pretty noisy, you're right on Western. If you don't mind street noise it's OK, if not, there's indoor seating, and you should be able to find a place. The chicken sandwich, right? That's what you want to hear about. Well, it's frreakin' great! I did the 2 sliders with fries and kale slaw. $14.99. It was a lot of food! It's the way to go because you'll want an extra one for later!! You have your choice of how spicy you want it. I ordered mild and it was still pretty darn hot. That's why the call it Daves HOT Chicken, right? The staff was great, and we got our order super fast! At minimum, companies should honor their promotions and provide a reliable way to communicate with consumers when issues arise. I am requesting the following: A clear explanation regarding the promotions and offers that were not honored Immediate improvement in customer service accessibility, including live support or timely responses Accountability measures to ensure that advertised programs and events are fulfilled as presented. I feel bad about the poor owners and their staff that work so hard to make sure the food is delicious. Daves corporate does not respond too complaints and needs to address this issue ASAP. Food came out pretty quick. The lady working the register was awesome. Totally took care of us. I had the number three hot and I think that was the right balance. Everyone else had the extra hot and that was just a little too much spice. I like things spicy and can handle hot, but I also like to enjoy my food too lol. The fries were amazing. I loved them. Regardless, Daves is the "fast food" of hot chicken, you really only go there when you have no other options nearby or are in a rush. The chicken quality is fine, but they are so poorly seasoned, their sauce is adequate, but nothing that stands out. Daves is one of those places where after you eat there, you say to yourself, "man I wish I drove to _______ instead." But on the way there, you're thinking, "oh I'm craving some hot chicken but _______ is too far away." Ring a bell? Right, we've all been there. We ordered two meals (one being the slider combo and the second being the flight of chicken nuggets) and 6 sides of ranch ($1.50 each) which had a total cost of about $56. Once at the window we waited for about 10 minutes or more after paying for our meal. The restaurant didn't seem too busy so I figured we were just getting fresh food prepared for us. After receiving our food we had to remind the attendant we were missing our 6 sides of ranch we paid for and our drinks which they retrieved. Came over here after a long day at Universal Studios with some friends. I got the Medium Spice Chicken Tenders combo and it was a good level of spice for me! I absolutely loved Dave's 6 or 7 years ago. This particular location was always packed and parking was impossible. These days the place is empty and you can park anywhere (except in the two spots for the crazy water guys place). But, the bigger picture is this is the result of a wonderful independent business that started in a parking lot that got bought by a corporation and now is just another place. I received my food then sat down to eat and immediately noticed the portions were also bigger than the ones I am used to getting which was a pleasant surprise :) . The food itself was very good, as the sandwiches I ordered were actually quite spicy! That and the portion of fries was just the right amount. Something else I appreciate was that the inside was pretty clean and the music was not unbearably loud. Happened to be passing by and decided to stop and grab a quick bite. Parking was easy, we went on a Friday around 8PM. Not sure if parking is this plentiful at other times of the day. We ordered a #2 which was two sliders and fries. Our food was ready within a few minutes and was very fresh. We ordered spice level hot, which did not disappoint. I think it was just the right amount of heat without overpowering the food itself. I loved the slaw they added to the sliders as well.
