The hummus was not fresh, and tasted sour. I also ordered rice with lamb. The meat was not great, didn't look like lamb either. Honestly, the best thing they have is the rice so that's not saying much. Unfortunately, I had to throw most of the food away because it was not good.

I didn't want much food, so I ordered a kids meal. Since the line was very long, I decided to order on the app. I got 2 chicken strips, waffle fries, a water bottle, and an ice cream cone with two sauces for about $9. I thought my order went through after paying, so I sat back and watched others get their orders. After about 8-10 minutes, I found it strange my food still wasn't out, so checked back into the app and it was waiting for me to add a table number. However, the table I was at did not have one, so I had to go to the counter and wait until someone was available to help me. The food eventually arrived on the order out shelves, but my water was missing so I had to wait a little more but they did bring it out to me. The chicken strips were decently sized, about 2.5- 3 inches long. There were about 6-7 whole waffles fries. The ice cream cone had more of the flavor and consistency of a Wendy's frosty instead of McDonald's soft serve (I prefer McDonald's soft serve). There is a play area meant for kids 10 years old and under with adults supervision. The bathrooms were clean.

Jersey Mike's is a straightforward sub shop built around made-to-order sandwiches, and this…read morelocation keeps that experience simple and consistent. We walked into a clean, casual space that makes it an easy option for a quick lunch or an unfussy meal. Sandwiches are prepared in front of you with fresh toppings, and the process feels more personalized than a typical fast food stop. The layout is functional and unpretentious, the kind of place where you can get in and out without unnecessary delay, though the parking can be limited depending on the time of day. The main draw here is the quality of the subs, especially the Italian-style sandwiches and hot grilled options. The Italian subs have a good balance of cured meats, toppings, and seasoning, with each component coming through without overwhelming the others. The hot subs bring a different experience with freshly grilled ingredients that add a richer, more savory dimension to the sandwich. We tried the Steak & Cheese and a Kahuna-style sandwich, both of which stood out with generous portions of beef and a depth of flavor from the grill. The bread, meats, and toppings work together well, making the sandwiches feel more substantial than the average chain sub. The rosemary parmesan bread is worth specifying if you want an extra layer of flavor, as it adds a savory note that pairs naturally with the fillings. The menu offers plenty of customization, whether you prefer a classic cold sub or something hot off the grill. The large sizes are especially worth considering if you want a more filling meal, and the portions generally match the higher price point. Compared to many quick-service sandwich spots, the focus on preparation and ingredient quality gives it a more premium feel. The sandwiches feel crafted rather than assembled, and the attention to slicing meats fresh for each order makes a noticeable difference in the final product. Service can vary depending on how busy the store is. When things are running smoothly, the staff keeps the line moving and the ordering process is quick. During busier periods, waits and order accuracy can become a little inconsistent, which is a common challenge for a location that handles a mix of walk-ins and online orders. The team manages the flow as best they can, and the friendly demeanor of the staff helps smooth over the occasional delays. The overall setup makes it easy to stop in, grab a sandwich, and be on your way. This Jersey Mike's works best as a reliable sandwich option when you want something fresher than a typical fast food meal. The grilled subs and Italian options are the highlights, and the made-to-order approach is what separates it from many other chain sandwich shops. It delivers the kind of hearty, satisfying meal that works equally well for a quick lunch or a casual dinner, and when the timing aligns, the experience feels seamless and worth the stop.

And thanks a lot Popeyes. You've made me consume more fat and cholesterol this summer than I thought humanly possible. The spicy chicken sandwich had lots of flavor. I tried some of the mac & cheese also. Hands-down better then it's competitors and probably better than any other fast food mac & cheese. I think the little cheese crust on top is what makes the difference. Will definitely order Popeyes sooner after this experience.

This is an extremely popular blue collar spot in Danbury that became really special to me as a undergrad student and has remained an amazing place. The beans are also seasoned to perfection. Hot bar is also really nice and overall you can make a really satisfying, personalized meal for yourself at a reasonable cost. I recommend coming before 9 PM because they start running out of stuff and hot bar looks rough at night.
