The floorboards are clearly high quality and look just like what we saw in stores. They came in quickly (just about a week, despite being prepared for delays during the summer of 2022 due to supply). I've provided a 4/5 star rating here because the product is great however the installation process was very frustrating, beginning with the fact that the person we worked with in the store said that the floors could be installed the week after we picked up the product (note: the installer informed us that LL Flooring does not dictate or predict their schedules). We had to reschedule our cabinet installation, electric/plumbing, etc. Since we did our own demo, we were advised by LL Flooring to have the installer come out to make sure that the subfloor was in-shape for the install so that there wouldn't be further delays and unforeseen costs on the day of. The Delmar store apparently contracts with two installers and we were assigned to Ronnie Payne. It was absolutely impossible to communicate with him prior to the install (we called him, the LL Flooring store in Delmar, and the LL Flooring Customer Assistance line literally more than 20 times over the course of 3 weeks). The store and the customer service line kept saying that they would text him to call us back and he never did. It provided us with a lot of anxiety and concern about having to push back other elements of the remodel. Luckily Ronnie and his colleague showed up the day that they said they would and the install went on without a hitch. They were pleasant, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing (it looks very nice when completed) however the lack of communication beforehand was extremely frustrating and made me feel like I was not valued as a customer. The folks at LL Flooring in Delmar did not seemed surprised by the fact that he never called me so my assumption is that this is just the norm.

Seaford Flooring is the epitome of substandard carpet installation and unethical business practices…read more-- it is quite a distinction. Two inspectors have asserted in detailed reports that their techniques are inferior, at least for my house. This lackluster company is incapable of appropriately stretching a carpet so that the backing adheres to the tack strips which creates bunching in areas. It is beyond their ability to cut accurate lines against a baseboards so now there are loose strands and bulges. Their pathetic attempt to properly cut seams leads to fraying. So would you want Seaford Flooring to come to your home? Furthermore, Seaford Flooring allegedly breached a contract with fraudulent activity - instead of the designated padding that was paid for, a cheaper lightweight padding was used and in some areas the old padding was not removed. So would you want Seaford Flooring to come to your home? And then we have another issue. As of this review Seaford Flooring is not a registered contractor in the State of Delaware so they cannot legally engage in any home improvement activity whatsoever. One should refer to the Contractor Registration Act 19 Del. Chapter 36 (effective July 1, 2021), which is readily accessible online as is the contractor search. So would you want Seaford Flooring to come to your home? There is now a rather large red flag fluttering over the Delmarva Peninsula, that wisely suggests that there is a rather good chance that you will not get the vaunted Smiles for Miles, but rather Tears for Years.
