I contracted with Chris to refinish my hardwood floors downstairs and my stairs going to the second…read morefloor. Chris brought two workers to complete the job. He came that first morning so we could agree on a color for the floors, then he left and did not come back until I called after the job was completed to handle my complaints. First, it appeared that the stairs were done by an amateur: gouges in wood and stain on all adjacent surfaces (pictures taken but cannot be added here). Second, the moldings around the floors and the stairwell were covered in stain/polyurethane and needed to be repainted. Third, the floors had not been cleaned well and have dust embedded in the finish. Fourth, I had asked for a satin finish, but got semi-gloss. There was no quality control throughout the process. Chris sent two workers back two weeks after '"they had finished" to fix the problems. The stairs were responded in spots and refinished (in a satin finish), when the floors had been done in semi-gloss and the hallway floor that needed touch up, highlighted the two polyurethane finishes, satin put on top of semi-gloss. I contacted Chris and he said he would send someone in 2-3 weeks to fix the hallway. I told him I would fix the hallway and stairs myself and told him not to come back.

My most recent home remodeling project consisted of a complete masterbath remodel including…read moredemolition, moving a bathtub, custom design shower (floor to ceiling), a new vanity, new closet, complete painting and of course Travertine Driftwood Stone tile. This is the 3rd project that Brad has tackled for me and, once again, he has executed it flawlessly. Brad is a tile artisan who meticulously hand selects tiles to implement the pattern that I've designed and it always looks better than I imagined. He is also the consummate craftsman who pays attention to every detail from the carpentry work of moving a drop-in bathtub pedestal to the construction of the frame and use of the Schulter system (water tight seal) for the custom shower to the repeated sanding and 5 coats of paint that were required to fix the drywall damage from the wallpaper removal. My only regret is that I should have done this project 5 years ago instead of 3 years before I plan to sell the house. Brad and his helper Alexis are very polite, professional and creative in their design and problem solving abilities. Brad won't be the least expensive contractor, but the quality of his workmanship, attention to detail and the final design result speaks for itself. You'll consider yourself fortunate to hire him.
