I was happy when I went there the food got to me in 10minutes which I was happy about so you people who give it 1 star you need better taste buds or go to the doctor. We ate at Dave's twice this last weekend, both times for breakfast. Both days we were seated quickly (even though the place was pretty busy). The wait staff was friendly and efficient and was happy to answer questions or adjust orders. On the first day I had the Plymouth Omelet. It was cooked to perfection and was very tasty. The next day I oatmeal with fruit. Again, the food was hot, tasty and cooked to perfection. One note... if you want a small bowl of oatmeal don't order the "bowl" it was HUGE! My friend had the steak top and egg special on both days and she loved it. I loved the ambiance of Dave's and it was a fun and great place to eat. If we ever go back to the Plymouth/Middleboro area again we'll be sure to eat at Dave's. read more

Drove 45 minutes to Dave's for the fried chicken it was unbelievable. It was take out but the staff was awesome everyone was smiling they were all happy to be working there. I got mashed potatoes, gravy, coleslaw, baked beans and biscuits. Everything was out of this world. I'm going to have to make Dave's an every Sunday retreat. Awesome!!! read more

I have eaten here on two different occasions and both were fabulous. Most recently I was accompanied by my family which includes my fussy eater son. Really high quality, fresh diner fare and friendly service. The menu was more creative than your standard diner and was reasonably priced. The location is not far from Rte's 44 and 95 and is a much better choice than any of the other "chain type" options. A+ read more

Definitely worth stopping by on your drive-abouts in south mass. Very friendly people, cushy seating (if in a booth), 50's decor (complete with an old cigarette ad in the bathroom), and great food for the price (roughly $8-$9 for a burger, $7 for a sandwich or a wrap). I've been going to the diner every Sunday for the past several years for breakfast and for the money the food is always good. The wait staff is very friendly and perfect for a diner. The one issue I have with Dave's is that it's the only diner I have ever been to that couldn't make decent home fries. They're either under cooked or mushy. They are never seasoned right or crunchy. They should probably just give up on them and go with hash browns. read more

Dave's Diner is "Cute".The 50's decor reminder me of my youth.Some customers came in 55 and 56 Chevrolets.The Service is great,the prices are fair,and the food is good.Nothing special to rave about!!(except dessert)The Turkey dinner was ok ,the stuffing and potatoes and gravy and cranberry sauce were very good but the "fresh" Turkey was tasteless !The baked Haddock was "Typical". We have eaten here numerous times over the years, and have rarely had a problem. Been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner and always the staff has been friendly, courteous and helpful. The burgers are fresh and perfectly cooked, the seafood awesome! Call ahead to find out if they've got fried clams... they are some of the best I've ever had, every time! Each time the food was great, wonderful thick chowder, great breakfast, great fish, the wraps seem to be very popular. you can eat there everyday of the week and not have the same food. Dave's rules. I've been here three times in about a month. I've ordered the eggs benedict with hash (highly recommended) and I've ordered the turkey club twice. It comes plain so be sure to ask for mayo on it if you like it that way! I also ordered a chocolate frappe last time and everything here is always great. My partners meals have also been delicious, the banana pancakes (bigger than your head), the tuna melt (impressive on an oversized English muffin and stuffed to capacity w tuna), and a meal of toast, eggs, bacon and home fries. Literally everything we've ordered all three visits has been delicious. The portions and quality are great. The atmosphere is fun. There's always good music playing and the staff are always helpful and happy. The service is great and if you do have to wait for a table, they get through the line in about 10-15 minutes. Arrived around 7:30 last night knowing there would be a wait but luckily there were 3 seats at the counter so sat right away. Hadn't been here for years so couldn't decide on what to get but waitress was very helpful in our decisions. Started out meal with the fried pickles - absolutely delish - best I have ever had. Portion size very generous! Then hubby ordered the cowboy steak tips - steak tips cooked with hash browns, bacon, cheese, and onions. He loved them! Serving size just ridiculous and he ended taking more than 1/2 home to eat later today. Daughter ordered the eggplant/ chicken parm special. Very flavorful and she hardly put a dent in her meal. Leftovers enough for 2 meals! I had the Greek salad wrap - which was stuffed with chicken and feta etc. ordered onion rings over the French fries. They were delicious as well. Took home 1/2 my sandwich and at least 1/2 my rings. Service was excellent. Looking forward to leftovers later today! read more

Today, my friends and I went out to breakfast. We're 16 year olds and I paid my check with $20 and the rest on my debit card. On the receipt I left $0 on the tip because we left her a $5 tip due to the fact that our food was pretty much cold and she was not nice. We left and we were waiting for my friend's mom to pick us up and our waitress ran out to me, visciously asking me if i meant to leave $0 on my bill, i replied yes because we left her $5. She continued to flip out on me telling me all she makes is tips and she doesnt get paid by the hour (which is false) and that it was rude that we left $5 and for future referance i should leave more. lol tips are optional A., the service was bad, the food was cold, and if she has a problem with the way she gets paid, she can talk to her manager or quit her job. Not my problem she hates her job. No reason to treat ANY customer, not even considering the age. read more
