The store is arranged sort of like a New Orleans shotgun house, where its not very wide but extends far far back into the building. In the front, you can find seating and you'll walk back toward the kitchen to place your order. I'd add it to the growing list of great sandwich places in Cleveland - all of which are in the general Ohio City area (Herb & Twine and Larder being the other two). What differentiates Little Cloud is the fact that they offer breakfast sandwiches, their very good bread, and that they're serving sandwiches up with some of the best french fries in town. As far as sandwiches go, my husband and I have tried the fried cauliflower (a seasonal special), turkey & brie and fried green tomato BLT - all of which have had a stand-out sauce on them, and in the right ratio. We can't wait to try more in the new year!

The sandwich had great flavor. Pretty messy, but worth it. My only suggestion (if they're taking them) is to consider pounding the chicken a little flatter. One side was so thick it was hard to eat and maybe just a little drier than it should have been. It didn't detract from the taste. As other reviews have mentioned, the fries with house seasoning are incredible. The peppadew aioli was great too. I want to try the other sauces, but I may have liked this one too much to deviate. If you're planning - and able - to finish your whole sandwich, you could probably split a "fries for 1" between two (but you might not want to). It's counter service, and the person who took our order was helpful. Not much seating if you want to eat there but overall a cute spot inside.

The standalone building is on the edge of Tremont with a small parking lot in the back. The most striking decor so far is the loud black and white mural spanning the wall behind the deli counter. Otherwise, things are pretty bare bones, but fret not, as the sandwiches are impressive enough on their own. There are laminated menus at the register currently, and unless you're a regular of the original Tost, allow your hungry belly a few minutes of perusal time to browse the hefty sandwich list, the deli sides, and the dessert display. Each sandwich is loaded with protein (sometimes 3 different kinds), sauce, and capped with perfectly tost-ed bread. I was hoping to see more vegetarian options besides an obligatory veggie sandwich and a fancy grilled cheese, but for omnivores the meat is tasty and well-portioned. There was sort of a lukewarm reception from the staff, which may be just due to the fact that things are still getting settled in. Behind a row of industrial toasters and a wall is presumably the kitchen where the magic happens and killer sandwiches are born. Each sandwich comes with a pickle and packed to go. I noted a bit too late that there was only one thin napkin in my bag, and await the placement of more napkin dispensers and utensils in the store. Prices are fairly reasonable for a meal-worthy sandwich. I couldn't pass up getting a brownie for dessert, and it is definitely worth the splurge if you love fudgy brownies. The remaining square footage is to be filled with fridges of prepackaged goods and racks of condiments for sale so you can create your own perfect picnic. Dining in is limited to some wall counter space for standing or to squeeze a young one into one of their high chairs. And possibly stools in the future.

I wanted to try the pierogi and the Polish boy and the KRAUT and having an extensive beer menu doesn't hurt either. Friendly neighborhood watering hole literally on the corner and basically across the street from the a Christmas story house allowing you to eat within eye sight of the leg lamp. I wanted basically everything from the menu that came vegan (spoiler alert there are tons and tons of things) but gastric space comes at a premium on vacation so we settled on the fried cheese. I was very excited to see the Polish boy (and vegan option no less) I didn't have much of a choice. GF ordered the vegan pierogi platter with vegan kielbasa on a bed of kraut. Firstly the fried cheese was head and shoulders above any mozz sticks or anything of the sort that I have had in memory. The breading is seasoned and crispy and heaven on earth. The cheese is PIPING. Like you will burn yourself if you, like me, have no patience. The accompanying tomato sauce is also steaming. So good. The Polish boy was also in a league of its own. Love that they have a vegan version. What a combo. Probably one of Cleveland's most important community contributions. We ordered the latkes to go and they were orgasmic. What a special place.

You can provide good service but for her she took real pride in it and really cared about making sure our meal was good. We really appreciated that. Space is pleasant in Battery Park - I think I like the Akron location a touch better, warmer, less industrial feeling but it's not bad just personal preference. Note: be careful on parking they have a few spaces in the narrow street immediately in front of the restaurant but the parking lot around the corner adjacent to battery park is permit only (and you'll be towed!). If the ones immediately in front of the venue are take you need to park further down (west) on 76th.

When I walked in, I had to settle for an unbelievably delicious scrapple sandwich because they were temporarily out of pastrami. Scrapple with a handmade, red, cabbage, slaw, onion, marmalade, and cheese. So creative and so delicious. My wife had asparagus and fennel soup. The fennel perfectly cut through the richness of the asparagus. Add to this one of the best potato salads I've ever had and it would've been enough. Until Jeremy came over to the table with some fresh pastrami to taste. I don't know where the best pastrami in America is, but whatever it is it's unlikely to be better than this. I love supporting what they have going on here, and its no surprise that they've been James Beard nominated multiple times. The rotating menu of sandwiches always deliver. The fried chicken is the staple I like the most, but my husband prefers the pastrami. Those are the two I always recommend newcomers start with. The best sandwich they make, in my opinion, is the fresh & fried tomato sandwich. I watch their Instagram posts like a hawk in August when I know the local tomato crop should be coming in, and then I try to go at least twice while it's on the menu. Sitting outside on a sunny day with fried tomato juice dripping down your chin is a version of my heaven. Don't sleep on the rest of the menu, though, where the pickle selection, house-made sodas and egg creams, and baked goods almost out shine the mains.

While in Ohio City, I developed a craving for something on a lighter/healthier side and quickly served. I'd normally grab quick eats from the Market but it was after hours. Boaz was an ideal match. AMBIANCE: Boaz has very interesting decor - vintage retro wallpaper and pops of yellow. Very funky and fun! The cafe has kind of an L type layout with quite a few tables. There's a serving station similar to Chipotle. You're welcome to takeout or eat in. FOOD: The menu is straightforward - rolled pitas, entrees, appetizers, salads, fresh juices and smoothies, desserts, soup and beverages. Very similar to Aladdin's. If you're in an especially creative mood, try to build your own salad, bowl or entree. There's a helpful sheet to guide you through your creation - base, protein, top off, color, and dress up. It's very helpful to see all the ingredients and feels like a more non-rushed ordering process. Prices for add-one are very clear and straightforward. I ordered Build My Own Bowl adding brown rice, beef shawarma, hummus, za'atar pita chips, shredded carrots, tabouli, pickled cucumbers, pickled turnips, tahini lemon, garlic sauce, and pita. The price was very reasonable - $8.99 for a bowl and $3.25 for beef shawarma. The only ingredient that they were out of was feta cheese but I wasn't especially craving it. Overall the bowl was pretty tasty especially za'atar pita chips. I didn't particularly like a few things. Meat was shredded too small and was dry. I also have the same criticism for Aladdin's. Sauce sides (tahini lemon and garlic sauce) weren't full. The meal achieved what I was craving - light and tasty. SERVICE: The service was very expeditious and welcoming. The menu was explained to me as the first timer and ordering was easy. The order was up in probably 3 minutes, quickest prep in all Ohio City. I was blown away! PARKING: Various parking options are available in the area. Some street parking is an option but not on peak busy times (weekends and nights). Paid parking lots are available at the West Side Market and by Market Street. You can pay with QR code via phone. I'd stop in at Boaz again when craving quick and easy eats. Next time I'll focus on desserts and smoothies. I'm especially intrigued by Rejuvinate smoothie. Many cafes in the city offer a smoothie with this name, and I'd love to experience/compare this one.
