I had a issue with the tag light and my tail lights, I called an audio place I have always used and to my surprise they told me to go to an electrical shop they no longer do this (even though they advertise) I googled auto electric shops and I found Daves Auto systems , I called the shop and Dave answered the phone, I was highly impressed and I took my F 150 the next day, I left the truck with Dave and the next day he contacted me with the issues and I told Dave to go ahead and fix, Dave and his technician worked on the truck to completion. I needed some broken bolts repaired on my manifold for my Ford transit van. Unfortunately this is a manufacturers design mistake that is quite common and a nightmare to fix. I was given quotes for up to $8000 just to repair the broken bolts as the entire front of the van needs to come apart to get to these bolts. A friend in the business referred me to Dave's. I was given a quote that was reasonable. The prior 2 repair shops did not want to take on the project as it was too difficult for them. Once Dave's machinic got into the project he found other issues that needed repair also. Because of this the labor took longer than quoted in the original estimate. Dave stood by his original quote even though the project took longer. in the end the repair was top notch, and I paid what was quoted. I was kept informed and shown the bad parts as I went through the process. I really appreciated the integrity that Dave and Tony have in dealing with their business. I highly recommend them. What a blessing it was to meet Dave. My mom & I were travelling from Boston to VA, then from VA to Fl. As we were driving, we could hear water sloshing around on the inside and water leaking onto the passenger floor. We were praying that we would make it to my sister in Orlando before we continued on to Tampa. Once in Orlando, we called several places and no one could look at the car until later in the week. After seeing Dave's 5 star reviews, I took a chance and stopped by. I met Dave & explained our situation and without hesitation, Dave looked at the car. Mind you his shop was full of cars waiting to be serviced, but he took the time to look at our car. Thankfully it was only a clogged ac line, so he cleared it and sent us on our way..... but wait there's more. While our car was being serviced, I asked about how long would it take because we had not eaten anything, Dave insisted on me taking his car. Dave didn't know us from Adam, he barely had our name at that point, however he pretty much put his car keys in my hand and said go! Dave is a great guy. I had some relatives using my vehicle hours away near disney. The vehicle I let them use broke down. He left his shop on moments notice to come take a look at it. Then he got it to the shop and had it back up and running in UNDER 24 hours. He was honest with his quote and pricing. And he even offered to change the oil on it, which I opted to do! I found out that he even washed the car and cleaned up the wheels before pick up! This kind of service is hard to find this day in age. And It's always scary to trust someone with your car. I live in Boston and my daughter lives in Orlando. As a mom, it's always difficult if things don't always go perfect in life - ie....your car basically halts on a major road. I make sure every year to have AAA paid for both my kids in case anything happens. When AAA arrived she said she just wanted it towed home. The AAA driver recommended DAVE'S and she agreed to have it towed there. What a blessing. He put it up right away looked at it and told her the issues.He showed her what the brakes looked like and what he needed to do and the approximate cost. It was ready, cleaned and waiting for when she needed it AND he was able to save her money from the original quote by fixing a few things instead of total replacement. I can honestly say that I have never been happy to have my car repaired before. However, Dave's Auto Systems was the best experience ever and I would not hesitate to tell anyone to go, even if you have to travel a bit to get there. Fantastic, professional service at a great price. You get the feeling of really being looked out for and treated fairly.
