Natalie stopped me from checking the house out and did not let me go upstairs. She made me wait for a few minutes while she completed her conversation with the others and then asked a dude (probably her assistant) to accompany me upstairs. The dude gave me creepy vibes and was keeping an eye on me all the time as he walked me around. It seemed like Natalie thought I might be there to steal as I walked into the open house myself. How racially motivated and prejudiced of her! Note that this was NOT an expensive multi million dollar home; this was a townhouse and had very few inexpensive items lying around. It was extremely rude and condescending of her to not let me walk around the townhouse by myself while I noticed that other visitors were able to walk around.

It's an utterly disaster . Can you image? I was waiting for seller agent to give me the new house key, and then picking up the dog poo in the backyard. At the same time, Nicolas Zhao is having his vacation in China with his family without any notice. The seller agent was amazed that he just "disappeared" during the closing and almost laughed how un-professional can a realtor be. He said, "It is un-imaginable that he just left you and went on vacation during the closing of this property." 1) As a realtor, he barely takes any responsibility. a. Went on vacation without notifying me before the house closing. When the house closed, I was not able to connect to Zhao. I later found the fact from his post in WeChat moments(#1 popular socia median in China) and realized that he is on the flight in China to take the vacation. Afterwards, he claimed everyone needs to take the vacation. I don't need to tell you. ( Wechat screenshot attached, if you can read Chinese ) b. House is in very bad condition. He asked seller agent to give me house key on the weekend after closing. When I open the door, the entire house is dirty and smelly (screenshot attached ). Seller is super confused to tell me that this is his first time to hand a key to the buyer in his past 20 years realtor career. c. Never ever gave a customer-oriented suggestion. His job is just to close the deal asap and get the commission. I requested to take a look of my house before closing because I would like to make sure everything is on the fair condition, and he said the seller is living inside, you can not take a look until you escrow all the money to the title company. d. He never suggests me to do the house inspection before close. I spent two months to fix the house nightmare and it costs me almost 20k since he didn't suggest me to do the house inspection. His reason is that I am saving you money. The reality is, the house cannot close that soon should I choose the inspection. ( list attached ) And it could have saved me much trouble should I choosed the inspection. 2) He always pretends that he is a California law expert and threatens you, pushes, misguides you to make a decision in favor of him. He told me that 25% downpayment is enough at first. After I prepared the amount of money and he told me, all of a sudden, I should actually pay 35%. I realized that I have not enough money to pay a 35% down payment in cash and I would like to give up this deal. He warned me, I would be sued and get the penalty should I not closing the deal. I hope no one would work him since this is definitely a nightmare in your entire life. My wife and I lived in our home in Danville for 23 years. During that time, we never did establish…read moreany sort of personal or business relationship with a real estate agent after the individual who originally sold us the house passed away. Approaching 2026, my wife and I made the decision to move out of state to be closer to our children and grandchildren. We realized we would have to sell our home, and assessing the scope of what was going to go into this, we realized we needed to select a quality individual or team who would handle all facets of this transaction. Over the years, we had been receiving flyers from a team at Compass called Frazzano Tse. We got a good feeling from the approach of their marketing pieces which prompted us to reach out to them to see if they would be willing to speak to us. While I knew prior to the meeting that they had a superior track record in the field and were very accomplished, during the meeting itself there was not a single mention of this. The entire conversation revolved around the needs of my wife and I, what we are trying to accomplish, our time frame, and what was important to us. While our original intent was to perhaps interview a couple of different agents, at the end of that meeting we made the decision that that was not necessary. We were confident that we found people who truly had our best interests at heart. Understanding that this was not our areas of expertise, we promised ourselves that we would do exactly what Alex and Joe asked of us. During the process, there were a number of suggestions that they made where our initial reaction was to push back because of our preconceived notions. Each time they explained to us the cause and effect of what they asked of us. Ultimately, we put quite a bit of time and money into making our house more attractive and desirable with the hope that it would sell quickly and for top dollar. Finally at the end of a process that started six months earlier, the house was ready to go on the market. To our amazement, the very first individual who viewed the property made an offer that was significantly over the price we were asking for all cash and asked for a quick close. This was a quality buyer who obviously felt strongly about owning our home. The escrow process also went very smoothly, and from start to finish, from the day our home was listed to close was less than 30 days. I base the success of any business transaction on the number of times one is negatively surprised during the process. We can honestly say there was not a single point in time when there was a timeline missed, or that what they said would happen didn't actually happen, and oftentimes turned out better than what they prepared us for.
