Decided to eat there with my boyfriend and even though the service and server were good, the food was just TERRIBLE, and our table was dirty. Starting with our silverware. I was at this location last week for a private work team building event. We rented the private area for the afternoon and had lunch. I was expecting finger food and was pleasantly surprised by the hot food we were served. Soft drinks were in towering dispensers which were fun, but unfortunately the soda was flat. D&B staff hosted 3 rounds of events that were mostly trivia focused and one round included using our power cards in the midway. It just seemed like we spent too much time in the room and not enough time on the midway. I don't know how many points we started with and as the goal was to maximize points earned, you couldn't really play at leisure as you were up against the clock. Still from the standpoint of team building, it was definitely fun and broke up our predictable routine. I'm not sure I would come back on my own but definitely recommend that you try it for a group event. read more

This location is convenient to DC but that's... about it. I've been to quite a few D&Bs, but this one has the most out-of-order games I've seen (more than half of the basketball games, for example). I also spent 45 trying to play and had to repeatedly seek assistance from staff before playing a game. It was quite frustrating to waste so much time. The bar service was fine and it's nice to be able to have your drinks on the floor. Wednesday is half price game night and though it was busy, never felt too crowded. Customer service lines were long and slow with only one employee available to help most of the time. The selection of games is average/good, but the amount that don't work can knock the experience down a notch. The prize shop is also just mediocre. The cash photo booth on the way out was probably one of our favorite things about this location lol read more

Great experience! The food was good. We ordered wings, burgers, steak, and a bunch of kid meals. Food came out pretty fast, which was good because we were starving. Our server was attentive and checked in multiple times. Lots of alcohol options!! I ordered the "Dangerous Waters," def a must try! Kids loved the games, they tired themselves out- which is a win win. The establishment was clean and well taken care of. Service was top notch. When we were walking in one of their managers greeted us and gave us a run down of how everything worked: game cards, chips, winners circle, foros, etc. He was great! We stopped in here while waiting for an appointment at a nearby establishment. I was with my teenage son, so I figured the arcade games would be a welcome way for us to pass the time. We were early for dinner, so only the bar area was open. We sat for at least 15 minutes before anyone came to take our order, and didn't even have drinks or water! We finally were approached by a hostess or manager, who promised us drinks and a server, neither of which appeared. Another server came by, and asked if we were served, and she finally took care of us. Food was fine, and while most of the menu is chock full of the usual high-caloric unhealthy American choices, we were able to find a couple of options that were lower cal and healthier (I had the tomato and basil linguini, replacing the pasta with zucchini noodles, and my son had the grilled salmon special). This was the first time my boyfriend and I came to this location in a while. We came on a Monday so it wasn't crowded at all. We sat at the bar and no one came up to greet us for about 15 min even though many waiters/staff walked past us. It definitely wasn't crowded so we were disappointed at the fact that we had to flag someone down just to order or whenever we needed something such as another drink, the check, etc. The "limited availability" chicken tenders were an absolute joke. They literally looked and tasted like frozen chicken tenders from the grocery store. We were given 4 pieces along with old-looking carrot and cucumber slices for $13 each. It honestly looked like something from the kid's menu. We couldn't believe they actually served and charged for that price. If you order drinks be aware that there are no prices on the menu so you can either ask the waiter how much it is or wait till you get your bill. Alcoholic drinks taste like there is no alcohol in them which was also disappointing. The quality and service were not worth the $$ we paid for. Tips for parents: This is on the FIFTH floor of the mall. If you have a stroller, be prepared to wait. There is one small elevator for the entire mall. If you can haul the tots without the wheels, go for it and take the escalator. Check Groupon for great deals for all day passes. This is basically the new hang out spot for kids' parties on weekends. There will be a lot of small people but also, you can drink hard liquor. Kind of balances out. Food and drinks are par for the course. Nothing special but not bad! You can rent a room in the back for a private party for two and a half hours. Has frosted windows and doors for a completely separate party space. You can also claim some tables in the eating area and have your party there. read more

Apparently they don't have an age restriction after a certain time anymore, so you'll see young kids out really late. Kind of kills being able to have adult time with your alcohol and friends. I enjoy coming here for the games. However, at times a good amount of the games aren't working.. especially the basketball one. Which is extremely annoying because you have to wait for the ones that do work to become available when it's already a popular game. But I guess it's expected to have to wait sometimes. The service for the restaurant is terrible. We didn't see anyone at a host stand so we seated ourselves - whether or not that was what we were supposed to do, whoever was in charge of the table we were sitting at should have noticed us and at least greeted us or something. No one came to us. At least 10-15 minutes had passed. By the time I went to the bathroom and came back, we had menus. Even then, we waited again for our waiter to come back to us. Our server was kind, and repeated back our order. My only complaint was the wait that it took for him to take our orders. The wait for our drinks/food was definitely a problem but I understand how that's a matter of the staff in the kitchen and beyond the control of our server. My food was mediocre.. I don't know if I'll give the food another chance - at least not again on a Saturday night during a UFC fight. Very disappointed in the service my party got today. My family had planned a nice birthday party for my niece but the service was horrible. Appetizers came out. No plates or utensils were provided. We waited about 5 minutes to get those. The kids spent more than an hour at the games - a perfect opportunity to pick up plates/clean tables for us to cut the cake. But nothing was picked up (see attached picture). We had to cut the cake with the tables all dirty. Then, one of the waiters was complaining very loudly when he didn't like what we left for tip. Last night was my first time at Dave and Buster's. I'm honestly not sure what to say about my experience, so I'll start with the food. It was bad. Just don't do it. Don't. We ordered some type of pretzel pizza and it was awful. It was one big greasy tasteless mess. Our waiter was all over the place and didn't bring napkins so luckily the manager brought some to our table. I felt like I needed to scrub my hands until they bled. It was so much grease. The one saving grace was the alcohol. I had one of their new Loco Rita's and it was FANTASTIC. It was the best drink I've had in a long time. It also made the pizza taste better, thank God. Now, the games.... The games weren't bad, but a lot of them weren't working. Some of them didn't have appropriate directions so it was confusing. Games like Skee-Ball and Basketball were pretty straightforward. There were a lot of kids there (11PM) so we had to wait for some games. Some games took an enormous amount of coins just to give very little tickets in return. I did get 1,000 tickets from one game and it was surprising. When you cash in your tickets, you get to pick from a variety of different souvenirs. I got a magnet, candy, and a stuffed grumpy cat. I left pretty happy. The good stuff definitely takes more tickets. Most of it is for kids but there are some adult options like t-shirts, coffee mugs, and hats. My friend got a shot glass. I overheard someone ask if you can purchase any of the items, and the cashier said "No." That's a bummer. Maybe they sell their merchandise online somewhere? All in all, I would consider coming back again. It is definitely a cool place to meet up with your friends and have a fun night in the city. read more

This was my first time going to Dave and Buster's and it was so fun (I ended up going twice in the same month)! I went with some friends, and it was way better than I expected. We arrived at 7PM to grab some dinner before hitting the games. The food is okay (nothing extraordinary), and we ordered a beer tower (it was so cheap)! The service was distracted, they brought the wrong order to our table a couple of times, but honestly, I didn't expect great service from a place like this. After eating, we went to the arcade and spent 5 hours playing! There are so many different games that you will never get bored (my favorite game was 'Deal or No Deal'). The arcade was clean and lively, but I was happy that with the amount of games they have, you never have to wait in line. The only downside was that as the night came to an end, the fire alarm went off, and the firefighters appeared. We were rushed out of the building, and were not able to redeem our prize, but I have a feeling we will be back soon! read more

The bar service and food were decent. The problems came when I tried to leave, but the doors were locked and guarded because the restaurant was on lock down. Police were called and their appeared to be an emergency, which is understandable. I went back 20 minutes later after the commotion settled, but still couldn't exit because they were still on lockdown. I asked the bartender for a drink while I wait, which I was willing to pay for, but was denied because of the whole "lockdown" situation. I was finally able to leave after other patrons voiced their frustrations. Things happen...I get it....but services shouldn't halt for others, especially if we've already paid. I have always said (and still believe) that Dave & Busters is the second fastest way to burn $20 (the only thing faster being literally setting a $20 bill on fire). That said, this Dave & Busters is nice. It's relatively new. As such, it's still pretty clean and neat. The games are usually in good working order. If you're going to eat and drink, know that the drink service is quite slow if you're not sitting at the bar. I've only had food there twice. Food will come at a more reasonable rate than drinks. The service is decent most of the time, but you're at Dave & Busters to play games anyway, and you don't really need to interact with the staff for that, so no reason to deduct too many points there. Never had any issues with the other patrons. Usually a fun time. Got a narwhal. Everybody loves narwhals. 3.5 that we'll round up. read more

When we arrived, we were directed to the wrong reception desk to pick up our food. Once we got to the correct one, my brownie sundae wasn't ready, fine they didn't want it to melt. When the Sundae came out, there was no brownie and I was told I would have to pay an extra $5 for the brownie. Just trash. Never again. read more

During his time away I went to the bar for the first time to see if rye could be substituted for bourbon in a drink. The answer was yes. He finally came back and I ordered my food and attempted the drink. "Not available". So I thanked him and went back to the bar to check what 'local' beers were available. When I asked the bartender she told me they were all printed. So I had to point out the BIG BOLD "Ask your server about local beers". We also had to search for our order taker twice.
