So here's my review as I am just leaving the location. so I came in about two hours ago and there I as no wait for a server which was a plus. Though it was pretty slow ,it made it a very intimate experience when ordering from the waitress. She was very attentive to what I wanted and comical. The front desk was very nice and all my questions were answered. This location gave better food portions than the location that I live near so that's also a plus. I came during happy hour and the "tres patron" is on point. Try if you àre a drinker. The manager came over and made sure that I was okay. I hope that the next time that I visit ,I am given the same treatment. If you know how I am you know that I look at how the restrooms are. I feel as if this makes or breaks a place. They were not only clean but in a very easy location. In all this is an arcade people and if you are looking for bottle service or A1 stake this isn't the place. If you are looking for good drinks and good portions to share this is the place. I came mainly for the DDR ish game. I loved that the games were up to date and working. No long lines. No issues. Though I see a few other managers not look so friendly but that's besides the point. As long as I am happy and my gaming experience was fun then I am satisfied. Take your mother , grandmother and children. It's a bang for your buck. Glad to see them back and popping up closer to home. read more

Pretty new in the Silver Spring area so my wife (who loves Dance Dance Revolution) and I checked it out. While I think it's overpriced it definitely is fun! The space is large and has many different games which are all fun! I haven't tried the food so I can't comment on that. Only 4 stars because on one occasion that we went to use a coupon we were told that we couldn't because the day already had a promotion. It would have been nice to know that beforehand. Also, on a separate occasion the entire place was close early for a private party. We didn't know about this until we were already there. Again, it would have been nice to know. Regardless of those occasions we will continue to visit Dave and Busters because it's fun and close to home. We will mostly likely go on Wednesdays, when it's half off certain games. :) read more

Dave and Buster's used to be a place I would be excited to go to, over the moon actually but after my experience this evening my opinion is forever changed. I understand being a Saturday night it is a little busy, but our waitress was not paying attention to us at all, kept forgetting simple things we asked her for like spoons and napkins. Also, when it came to processing the checks she seemed very confused (possibly intoxicated). I don't suggest this place and don't think I will be returning. Also, the only way we got our food was thanks to who we thought was a manager and a host. She never asked for feedback on our food, when asking for refills it seemed to be a inconvenience to her so we had to seek help from another staff member for that. read more

I was really surprised by the menu. Woohoo many items to choose from. We had a party of 5. 2 adults and 3 children. The waitress was very pleasant and responded to our table within minutes. We ordered our food and drinks. SURPRISE again.... the food was out in about 15 minutes. I was expecting to wait atleast 30-45 minutes. Please stick with ordering wings and burgers. The Mac and cheese looked delicious on the menu. When it arrived, it looked dry and tasted blah!! Lacked Seasoning. Looked nothing like the Picture in the menu. I was really disappointed. The drinks were horrible. Um I don't know what else to say about that I was just really disappointed with the alcoholic beverages. Over all it was a nice outing, had fun playing some of the games. This is my favorite place to go too! Especially for happy hour! Staff are very nice and go out of there way to make you feel welcomed. Now a days it's hard to find a place with great customer service. My husband and I love coming to the bar! Pat (the bartender) is amazing! Came here with 3 friends and right off the bet, coke was flat and warm, the pretzel hotdogs were frozen, tater totts tasted straight like grease and burgers came out smelling disgusting and cooked like it was old! The icing on the cake was lettuce dried on the silverware and another one the knife was still greasy.... please avoid this place at all cost!!!! I have been here before but I guess because it wasn't peak hours the service was ok. I went New Year's Eve and the service SUCKED! the bar was filthy with plates from previous customers. This location has great games and a very friendly wait staff. the food is good but i have to knock a star off because the wait times can be horrendous when they get busy. i have been to this location multiple times and i can tell you the best time to get food is on a monday or tuesday around 4 o'clock. read more

The store looks nice because it's brand new obviously but unfortunately staff here needs a bit more training. Machines to add in power cards were acting up and charging people and not giving game play.. understandable for technology to crash. When going to the front to inform the cashier, she said I wouldn't get charged, but yet I still got charged. And in top of that only one cashier to handle the customers knowing that is the only way to add game play, you would probably consider having extra hand up front, instead of making people wait 10+ minutes. read more

How concerning it is to have food poisoning with children from an establishment like this and get passed around to different managers who do not care. Well the buck stops here. Literally and figuratively. I took my boys and their friends to DnB on a Friday and we ate there as well. We ordered the pick five and a few sliders and by the time we got home 2 out of 3 of the boys were sick. Not just diarrhea but also vomiting. Not just my kids but someone else's kids - so I was mortified. I called 2 times to get to a manager. Then finally a guy name Raul called me back. Says he's an assistant gm and sorry for the trouble. Then says he's gonna have the gm call me back. A day later Andy the gm calls me back. Then he says sorry but nothing was flagged as improperly cooked. Then was like I'll have Raul call you back. Raul then calls me back to say ok so thats settled but it wasn't. I wanted my money back from this Debacle - but no they said it's not confirmed that it can from them. I'll tell you one thing is certain. They don't care about your well being only about the bottom dollar. So said as we have seen so many places go out of business because of this mentality. Let's hope they wise up! In the mean time I'll be spreading the word about just how awful it was and warn other families against taking their children to this chain. read more

This D&B is much smaller than others. We used this place for a going away party. They are horrible at serving to large parties. From serving main dishes before appetizers, people not getting their food until most of the party was finished eating, and waiting forever to settle separate bills. Never again! read more

We had my kid's birthday party here today. It was a mess. Unlike any other similar place that specializes in parties for kids this one was missing a lot of key ingredients. 1.Your room is not private - be ready to share it with another party of people and things get LOUD. 2.Staff was not welcoming or very helpful - So many examples of this. When we came in we were a little lost. We found 3 employees standing around and chatting. We asked them where we should go. Instead of simply bringing us over they started giving confusing directions. The room was set up but nobody there. We wanted to make some layout changes and it would have been nice to have some help. 3.You're on your own when you need them most - When it was time for food, the staff brought it in and quickly left us to our own defenses to serve ourselves and the kids. Typically there is a server that stays in the room with your party. This was not the case. We constantly had to be on the lookout for someone to help. 4.The food is meh - Chicken nuggets, cheese quesadillas, and fries were OK. Everything else was either tasteless or outright bad. Overall the kids had fun running around and playing games. But this was not the stress free affair I had envisioned. read more

These guys go the extra mile. I had an issue with a game card I purchased (100% my fault) and both the bartender and manager exceeded expectations in taking care of it quickly. Decided to stick around longer for some more fun & games as a result. Food is bar food. It's not a Mortons or a boutique speakeasy so not sure what some of the other reviewers were expecting. It did get busy but nobody was slacking and they took care of us so I count that as good service. read more

I went on a Friday night with a friend. We usually get a small appetizer to share and multiple drinks. Upon arriving we sat near, not at, the bar and waited at least 15 minutes before a server came and gave us waters. After receiving the waters we didn't see our waiter again until it was time for us to receive the bill, which he had the nerve to circle the amount for tip...I gave him $1 and noted "Terrible Service". We had to order from the manager who periodically walked around the bar. The service was so non existent I had to walk up to the bar to order our second drinks. I didn't mind going to the bar to get my own drinks but the point is we didn't see our waiter the WHOLE entire time we were there (1. 5 - 2 hours). We were so unsatisfied with the service we didn't want to play games or continue to drink so we called it a night and went out elsewhere. read more

Dave & Busters is a great place to take our kids with mediocre food. My experience at this particular one went from bad to worse. First off our server's body language was bad from the jump. He was not very attentive at all. I was there with my wife and 2 daughters. I ordered the steak, shrimp and lobster pasta. I ordered my steak medium and it came out well done. I sent it back and it was brought back out well done. As I took my kids to play games the server came to the table and asked my wife what the problem was?? She said the kitchen isn't making the steak right. It was brought back out again and still not medium. At this point I told him I didn't want it. He left with an attitude. Before all of this I'd asked for a drink which never came. His attitude was shitty to say the least. So when we finally left. Our bill was $96 in which I gave my wife $30 cash and she put the rest on her card. This wanna be slick dude pockets the $30 and puts the whole bill on her card. When we speak with the manager about it because the coward never comes back out she says he thought it was his tip. $30 on a $96 bill comes to a little over 30%. This dude knew damn well he didn't provide service anywhere near a $30 level. The manager corrected this and I hope she reprimanded that SOB!!!! Worst customer service ever. Order was not taken in a timely fashion we were unable to eat together. Waiter left us and never came back. Manager not empathetic towards our concerns downright rude. Manager did not try to make things right at all he offered game credits and told us he was not in the business of giving food away. Had to go get our own drink refills and also had to find a manager to order my food. He put in my husband and grandsons food order in so we couldn't even eat together. This places customer service is TERRIBLE!!! It took me 30 mins to get served, first we sat at the bar for 15 minutes (it was completely empty), then moved to a table.... then we waited 15 more for our drinks to come.... we finish then ask for our check after our server disappeared.... then waited 20 minutes to be cashed out!! Our server got a 10 top and decided to take their order and drinks after dropping our check 15 mins prior. I tried to get the bartenders attention. They nodded at me then disappeared. Then I had to flag down another server to get cashed out because ours was too busy flirting with customers. And the second server just brought us our check with no change!!! They are not even busy!!! This D&B gave me the worst service in all my restaurant experience. I got to my party late. My friends were already receiving their food when I sat down. I waited for about 15 minutes until I decided I'll just go get him. Who knows how long I would have waited if I never did. Im surprised he didn't check up on the others food. So I went around the bar to get the server--who was talking to a coworker. Clearly not busy. It was late, we were the only big party around. Got my food. Nothing wrong with it. Last call was announced on the loud speakers at 11pm and server was at the table giving a round of Jameson shots. I ordered food 2go. Maybe 10 minutes goes by and he's dropping checks, he comes to me and says "I'm sorry the ticket didn't print. I'll go re-ring it. What was it again?" I tell him my order. And at 11:30 he brings my check with the 2go order on it. Comes back in a few minutes with another check and says "sorry the kitchens closed, they couldn't make it, so here's your check." Absolutely unacceptable. This is why I ordered at last call. Whether the ticket didn't print or not that's not my fault and frankly not MY problem. He said he didn't want to "argue" with me so I asked to speak to a manager. She was polite. Also said me getting aggressive and angry wasn't going to help. After I explained being in the industry, the manager took my food off the bill. Which was fine. But I still didn't get my food. The server could've fixed this issue in a million different ways. We sat 20 minutes, without getting waited on. We tried to get staff attention, but no one would wait on us. They were not that busy. We left, and told up front the issue, who did not seem to care. Hello, my name is Sade Samuels I am 22 years old, and I am from the Landover, Md area I wanted to share this crisis I had with one of the biggest corporation On November 25, 2018 My boyfriend and I decided to take our 5 year old to Dave & Busters (Silver Spring MD Location). Dave & Busters has a special every Monday, Thursday and Sunday night (Game days). The special includes All you can eat wings and unlimited game play for $19.99. We took this trip just to get my daughter out of the house before another week of school, plus who wouldn't give up that offer? So we immediately seat ourselves and as we wait for almost 10 minutes, a young man comes up to our table and drop a couple menus off. At this time we are ready to order, so I call him back over & explain that I was here to get the special that they were offering. The young man asked if "we" were going to eat, I responded "No, we'll share with her" mind you my boyfriend and I ate prior to getting there....he says"OK" the first batch of wings come out, cold to the touch my daughter could not eat them being they were buffalo hot wings ( she didn't even finish her first one ) so I eat them, my boyfriend eats a couple and that was that. A few minutes later, the waiter comes back and says to me " they said if you guys are over here sharing i'll have to charge you for a second order" so at this point we're either being watched or discussed upon in the back by our waiter. I am approached by the General Manager she asks " is everything ok?" I asked in return, what made you ask that? She says " I'm the general manager, I ask everyone that" " Are you guys over here sharing wings? if so, the special is per person and i'll have to ring you up for another order if so" I ask her " So i cannot share with a 5 year old if she couldn't finish her wings?" she states... "NO, and after the second order (which was already placed at this time) was to be shared that she would charged me for two specials, I agree and I say fine. I also ask her where is that policy in writing, and she points to multiple posters on the wall. I honestly did not see these papers hanging up, I didn't know that it would be a problem to share with my own flesh and blood. Second batch of wings come out, two other managers come to my table speaking to me as if I were a child, or was intending to run out on the tab. They sit a $76 bill on the table, mind you we have not played any games yet and this would be my 2nd plate of wings... I asked, "whats this" they say, "your bill, you guys are still over here sharing", which was a lie and even it was the truth, the manager gave me her WORD THAT AFTER THIS LAST ORDER THAT IF WE SHARED I WOULD BE CHARGED. Family decided to go here for Christmas Eve fun. The waitress we had just made the experience we had very negative and draining. The servers name on the receipt said Ravin, seems she may have not been doing this type of work long or perhaps just bummed because she had to work Xmas Eve. Anywho, she was horrible from start to finish. She took FOREVER to bring everything we asked for back to the table. A good wait staffer ask if you'd like another refill or just brings you refills when your glass is empty or close too empty. She seemed more interested in getting back to the conversation she was having with other co-workers then giving at least mediocre service at best. The food was just OK I and would rate that about 3 stars. The one star is for the waitress ONLY. I hope D&B Management has a word with her because she is not only representing herself but them as well and she is not going to make a dime with the service and attitude she has. This past weekend(Saturday) I went to celebrate my friend's birthday and let's just say I was less than pleased. I understand that it was within the first few days of opening and there might have been a few kinks here and there, but the service that we experienced we absolutely ridiculous. One of my friends is 7 months pregnant and she ordered a non-alcoholic drink that was served to her with vodka, UNACCEPTABLE!!! I had the makers mark burger that was cold when I got it. The birthday girl was served frozen fries, which she never got hot fries to replace them. One of my friends sandwich was served with sweet potato fries, she wanted regular fries instead but was charged extra for the sweet potato fries that it already came with. There was too many people trying to help our party which made things even more confusing and quite irritating. We sat down around 10:45pm and did not get up from the table until after 1 am, and even then things still weren't straightened out.
