Dave & Buster's has remodeled and is a late night go to to watch games on the huge screen tvs, order drinks, and maybe even take a first-date. The food is mediocre but the vibes are where it's at. The venue brings in DJs to entertain and play music and it's a great opportunity for new DJs to get their feet wet with playing music and engaging the crowd. Man oh man! I haven't been here in a year. I missed the whole remodeling of this place. They replaced the front and back desks with kiosks. And that makes it super easy to get or recharge a card. But no worries. There are still workers around (mainly in the prize area) to help you with any questions or concerns. I love the new games and the bowling ally, where the prices are much lower than other bowling areas. Just come on less busy days and the prices and availability is better. However, what I love most is the location...right inside the Concord Mills Mall. So whether you want to spend 30, 60 or 100 here, your time will depend on the price. Attended my company's Christmas party here. The space rented was more than comfortable for our party of 25. The catered options included pizza, small hot dogs, chicken tenders, salad, soft pretzels. There was a dj for the whole place so the music was great but unfortunately too loud for us to play our party games since our space was open. Next time we'll bring a microphone. Great time! Decided to drop in and grab a few drinks at the bar and when I arrived the bar was huge , look like they had done some remodeling too. It was a nice look. Wasn't too busy at the bar, it was a Monday afternoon. It took a while to get service but drinks came out amazing and appetizers came out at a decent time. Prices were good as well. I decided to do some bowling and arcade games which was smooth. My two complaints are, not having speedy service, and messy restroom facilities. I had a great time at the Concord Mills Dave & Buster's, and a huge part of that was the service. My server, Derrick, was fantastic. He was attentive, kept the drinks refilled without us having to ask, and made sure our food came out exactly as ordered even while the floor was busy. It's rare to find someone who manages the pace of a high-energy environment so well while staying friendly and professional. Left a sports bar in the area to come here and sit at their bar. As expected on a Saturday night, they had a big crowd. Able to snag two seats and were immediately greeted by our bartender. She was super friendly, efficient, and straight to the point. She even took the time to see if they had any sparkling wine in the back of the restaurant, which they did. I appreciated the effort. This is my goto place on Wednesday with my son. We have spent over 11000 chips here! All games are half price and we tend to also get a lot of tickets. But this review is for the restaurant side. We went to get a table and the hostess let us know it's a 30 minute wait even though the place wasn't even half full. When it was time to get seated the hostess sat us at the table and gave us menus. It took almost 15 minutes before the waitress even greeted us. She took our ordered and left. She came back 15 minutes later with our drinks. This will be the continued theme for this waitress. 5 minutes later our food came. The wings were actually really good. they were big juicy and fried to perfection. some of the best wings i had lately. Beside the wings though everything was heavily salted. From the time the food came out to the next time we saw the waitress was 25 minutes later. We had to flag her down to get our check. we ask for some boxes for our food and again the waitress went missing for another 10-15 minutes. Finally she came back with boxes and the machine to pay the bill. I ask if she could print the receipt for me and she said ok. This is the last time we saw her as after another 15 minutes we just talked to the host to get us a bag for our food boxes and left without the receipt. Overall the only thing that went right was the wings cooked right beside that dinner was almost a 2 hour disaster of just waiting. i would avoid this place for a meal at all cost until management fix this service problem. i would give them a 1 star but gave them 2 because the wings were really good read more

My daughter and I came here this past Friday and we had a pretty good time. I haven't been to D&B in a long time so I might've had more fun than my daughter. We got there around 6pm and it was pretty good timing because it wasn't overly crowded at all. I got a card for us which I believe was $3 and I loaded it with about $25 ( I forger how many points that equated to) . But anywho we played a lot of fun games. She liked the hungry hippo game because we started playing that at home recently. I almost lost my kid because I got caught up playing the basketball game but yall ain't hear that from me. "KOBE!" I tried to win her a stuffed animal from the claw game but to no avail :(. After a while we decided to eat, I spoke to the bartender and she told me I could sit at the table where they had a QR code and I can place my order there. This is my second time encountering an order by QR code thing so I was a bit more accepting this time. I ordered the kids pretzel dogs w/ fries and a mushrooms stout burger for myself. Oh yes and I ordered a beer as well. It did seem to take a while for the food to come and when it did come they only brought my daughters food out. Then about 10 mins later mine came. My burger was really good I can't front. Before we left we stopped by the place to redeem the points earned for gifts and she had like 400 points. Couldn't really get too much but there was a very nice woman who didn't want her points and she gave them tobmy baby, so kind. She had about 2100 points so were able to get a bigger/better prize. Went to this location for a team outing with work. Food was good, we had cheeseburger sliders, boneless wings, fries and Mac n cheese. Restrooms needed cleaning. upon entering the workers were friendly. asked for 2 tables one for my family 2 adults 2 kids and one for my son and his family. 2 adults and one toddler. I've gotten more toppings at Taco Bell and much cheaper. the pasta was watered down with no flavor and the lemon pepper chicken was just fried chicken. The server took 30 minutes to bring all our drinks and we had to ask for utensils. The cola was flat and I asked to have it taken off my bill and just bring water. As you can see from the receipt that I was still charged for the cola. I asked for my bill and my son asked for his bill. They charged me as one table and refused to separate the bill for two tables, then charged $42,for gratuity for having a large party. I will Never eat at Dave's & Buster again. I will only come for the games. I can only give 1 star and that was simply for the games. Pros are - Food was good, lots to do since adding a bowling alley and pool tables to the arcade. Cons- I would recommend going as early as possible - it gets packed very quickly. Today I encountered the most inappropriate, nasty, disrespectful, and sad employee at Dave & Buster's Concord. Enjoying a week off of my job and spending time with my two toddlers before the summer begins. I understand this world and what we are all going through right now. There is a lack everywhere. I noticed there was only one bartender so instead of staying in the bowling area where we preferred I came closer. During that time of transition my youngest two year old just turned three ran towards where the prizes are. During that time I started to follow him and check on him. My conversation was supposed to be hey let's grab prizes once we are done. Right now let me complete this online food order through the app and then we will come back. However my conversation turn for the worse and not with my toddler with an employee of this particular Dave & Buster's. My son his mood shifted I asked him what's wrong sweetie? He said "that lady snatched the toy from my hand. " I then asked her "hey did you snatch something from my son?" She replied " yes I did he was stealing" She was angry, rude, out of character for the location in which she worked. She continued on and use the F word with me. She yelled get the F out of my space. This situation then became hostile I requested a manager immediately. While I held my baby boy's hand. She continue to get an attitude and everyone around her pretended that it was OK. I was the victim my son was the victim this lady was out of control. No one around me had emotions no one around me had remorse no one around me cared. I asked everyone do you guys have kids how would you feel? Has she done this before to other kids? Now I understand that the world is shortstaff. But I do believe we are still all going through some form of training. I am sure because she works in a space that has children some of the training has to explain how to interact with children. How could you and you're right mine working in a child 90% child facility accuse a toddler of stealing. How could you not look up and look for the parent? Does Dave & Buster's teach/train anything regarding approaching a child instead of their parent? This situation raises so many concerns for me. I have now become uncomfortable and afraid to bring my children into a game arcade during the day on a Wednesday because they could get harassed by an employee. I think it's common sense to never approach a child no matter the industry you work in. Always approach the parents with your concerns in a respectful way. The general manager came to listen to me and no point did I feel like he had a true solution. He said to me she would be fired did I believe him? Moments after she was "fired" she returned and walked right by our table. Did I have confidence in him, no. Am I upset? Would I like justice? What I like an apology? Literally the world just went through another heartbreaking situation. We are all sad, bothered and we just want peace no matter who you are where you live or what you do. On this day, today. I just wanted to have a good time with my children. They were looking forward to this moment. I spent a lot of money in this place not only on games but also on food and beverage. I came for an experience a good experience and this by far was the absolute worst experience that I wouldn't have preferred to spend my money on. This young lady had orange/red hair wore glasses and maybe her name was Rihanna? But again my confidence was lost in the general manager. The manager on duty at this location today 9/28/24 between 1-4 pm needs to be removed. The people at the front cannot make any decisions without her say so-micromanaging at its finest. When I called regarding my daughter's birthday I was told not a problem to have 10 people we will be accommodated. When we arrived the manager let me know 70% of party had to be on site in order to be seated. According to her we would prevent the server from attending to other customers... The fact that the other people looked on in complete silence and discomfort spoke volumes of her style. Too late to change plans but this would be the last time there for us. They don't regulate how many people are in there, so it's overcrowded, kids are running around without parents everywhere. If I wanted to spend time waiting on little kids to play games and run all over me, then I would have gone to Chuck E Cheese. My family and I went here bowling on a Saturday evening. We all know the establishment is busy anyway with kids and adults, but I was disappointed from the time I walked in. My family was assigned lane 7! We go to bowl and the lane is clearly not working well. I went up and told the young lady who told me they wouldn't charge for my shoes. I thought I guess so I went back to make sure my kids have a good time. After about 10 more minutes of the lane not working I finally told my kids to take off their shoes and we were getting our money Back! The young lady said I have to ask my manager can I refund you or not charge you. Why did she have to ask when she called maintenance and no one even came to look at the lane. She could clearly see it was NOT working! Not to mention, there is no food service in the bowling section so we were told to go to the bar. Me and another person who was bowling stood there for about 15 minutes waiting at the bar to order with two bartenders. After ordering and dealing with the lane. I cancelled and my family and I just went elsewhere. I promise as we were leaving the other place news reports on my phone that there was a shooting in the parking lot of this establishment! I thought omg I'm happy all of this happened so my family wasn't caught up in the madness. This location need to revamp every thing and how they run this business and most importantly renovate that bowling alley and how it's ran! As a server of many years myself, I've never received such bad service from a waitress in my life. Kyndal (server name) had an attitude from the very start and clearly lacked any basic customer service skills needed for the job. Her first words to us were as follows: "hey guys I'm Kyndal. First of all, did you guys seat yourselves?" We absolutely did not seat ourselves. Then we ordered drinks (Coke and Strawberry Lemonade) and an app (loaded queso- only thing to write home about). We got the app 10 minutes later... no drinks in sight. No server in sight. After we were all but finished with the appetizer, I finally tracked down a kind host and explained the no drinks and after about another 5 minutes, she finally brought our drinks to us. I thought that was about the worst of it, until we got the entrees mentioned above-that were kind of bad-and we were then waiting on refills. Which again, took forever and a day. The server, Kyndal, at this point has rolled her eyes at us, had attitude the entire time, and hadn't even offered so much as a smile. To top it all off, there were gnats.
