I brought this to the attention of another staff member, who was at the cash register, in a nice & discreet manner. I asked if she could please convey my concerns to the lady preparing the food and request that she wash her hands before proceeding with my order. Although by this time I could ONLY hear the lady's voice & no longer see her...but in an unprofessional & LOUD manner...she said she WAS NOT going to wash her hands! I then directed my request directly to her asking her for my comfort level if she could wash her hands. A total of 3 times I asked but she vehemently REFUSED and lastly stated that I did not have to eat there, and I could leave!! This Is Not Only Unacceptable, but completely Unsanitary! I've patronized this establishment for quite some time now, and cringe at the thought of how many times this may have occurred without my or any other customers knowledge. This should be reported to the health department for unsanitary reasons! The potential for foodborne illness due to such unsanitary practices is alarming. What ever happened to the customer being always right policy? I asked if she could wash her hands, being concerned about food cross-contamination. If I could rate this establishment with a zero, I would but the system will not allow me to. This flagrant attitude is unprofessional and clearly undeserving of the consumers' patronage and trust!!! I went to front of the line to speak with an employee working in the pharmacy. I arrived fifteen minutes prior, as instructed on the Walgreen's website, but was instructed by a male pharmacist to get in line. I got in line and ended up having to wait an additional 14 minutes, but the line went fairly quick. After getting to the counter I had to complete paperwork for my son to receive the COVID Vaccine. I asked about the HPV and Meningitis Vaccines because they were also scheduled in my appointment, but the pharmacist told me to reschedule an appointment for earlier in the day (early morning time). The pharmacist and his staff were very nice. Customer service goes a long way with me.

Why would you allow one customer to tie up the phone line for more than 30 minutes, which means no one else can get through. The staff do not leave for lunch until 1:30pm so if I am calling at 12 noon...why is no one answering the phone and keeping me on hold. This makes no sense at all! Even though the employee would often assist two customers at the same time, the process still felt slow. However, since they introduced their new system with three self-service kiosks, the experience has improved significantly. Even when there's only one employee working, the line moves much faster and the overall process is more efficient. The staff has always been friendly, professional, and helpful, and the store is typically well-stocked with what I need. My only complaint is the phone system. You can no longer speak directly to a live person when you call. Instead, you have to leave a message and wait for a callback, which can be inconvenient when you need immediate assistance. Overall, the improvements to the pharmacy process have made a noticeable difference, and my experiences there have been much better lately.
