The pharmacist kept asking the same thing several times until I decided to move around so I do not give the reaction so many give by just leaving. This place is sub par and I'd like to note it is worth it to go somewhere else even if it is further away. Ola has no customer service and should be replaced and retrained wherever she ends up. I arrived at 11:50 to pick up some second skin. I knew I would be in and out within 3 minutes. When I arrived the doors were locked and another patron said he had been standing there for 15 minutes knocking on the glass window and no answer. I tried calling the store and no answer. Around 11:58 they finally answer the knocking on the glass saying the store was closed. We had both said we were standing there waiting because the posted store hours are 7:00-12:00am. He finally that the system was down and wasn't able to make purchases with no signage saying such. They were sitting at the registers on their phones. Horrible customer service. read more

To say the customer service at this location is bad would imply that there is some service being provided. For a location that keeps the entire store locked up it is impossible to find an employee to provide assistance, after you finally find an employee they have the audacity to tell you they are busy and will get to unlocking merchandise when they get around to it. We had appointments scheduled for more than a week, arrived today to get the Covid-19 Updated Vaccine and after the Pharmacist gave us the run around, she had us stand around for almost an hour, and then told us that she only had one vaccine available and could thaw out another for tomorrow. We decided to just leave.We stopped going here years ago but since they shut down the Pharmacy at Croom Rd, we chose here for the vaccine but not ever again. This place is still a MESS! GET VACCINES ELSEWHERE I followed the protocol, scheduled my appointment, arrived EARLY, then waited 20 min only to be told they are ignoring their online system, so no vaccines after 5pm (?!). Most of us work and need to have services AFTER 5PM. An absolute waste of time with NO apology, NO acknowledgement of disregarding their OWN CVS company policy, and ZERO effort to offer an alternative appointment. I am glad that we ALL have better options available to get our FLU SHOT this Fall. I would not return to this CVS on Branch Ave. for any products or services. This location has the worst customer service I have ever came across. I order my medication days ago and today I go and pick by it up 1:20 and was told after 2pm. I walk out five minutes later at 1:25 I get a text telling me to get my medication. The games this location plays with peoples medication is unacceptable. This affects people's health yet the power trip they have at this location is going to their head. Let another person treat them this way they would lose their mind. I order my refill online and no one order the meds. Let's not talk about not counting control medication correctly. Someone open sealed bottles to place them in one large one and shorted the medication. The pharmacist didn't want to count them and used a pill counter and they were still short and looking shocked. Thank god I over heard a lady state she was short when she picked up her medicine which made me go and count mine. CVS HQ and the DEA needs to look into this location. This location needs some serious help asap. read more

I had the same experience as everyone else. I hate this store with a passion. My son has a traumatic brain injury and his Tricare was canceled due to his medical discharge. I have primary insurance but the copays are $55+ for each of the 20 meds he takes, hence Medicaid is supposed to pick up the rest. This store had the audacity to argue with the CVS pharmacist at the VA store I had to have my son's meds transferred from due to MD Medicaid. The tech in VA put in his medicaid insurance info while i was there. When i got here, they had no info. Then the pharmacist got in a fight with me telling me it wasn't going to be covered. She finally did it and goes oh - looks like they did cover it. I don't know how that happened. These people have the laziest attitudes ever. Our primary insurance allows us to get a 90 day supply in a CVS store for half the mail order copay and it clearly states it on the card. The pharmacist argued with my husband for 45 minutes that it wasn't possible and that type of insurance didn't exist and kept sending him to the back of the line. He was on the phone with the CVS pharmacy when he made it back up front and they confirmed with the tech that it was true. Then they threw all his meds around, one of which has a $200 copay and is a liquid. He now just has me fill them in VA at the 24 hour store by Fairfax Hospital where they have everything, including the narcotic pain meds I take. I swear they never order any at this store. In summary if you can make it to Waldorf go to one of their stores or the Walgreens or Rite Aid across the street. They're helpful and pleasant and clean in the store unlike this one. read more

Most outrageous pharmacy pickup experience. Long line, one checker and a totally ridiculous practice of having customers who are waiting on prescriptions can just walk up to counter to pay for their prescription regardless of how long customers have been already waiting in line. When I got in line for cashier, there were 5 people ahead of me. I was in line so long that pharmacist called out names of two customers waiting for prescription to be filled. These persons were handled while the pickup line was steady growing. One of the customers called had two prescriptions to process but only one was ready, cashier had all of us wait until customers second prescription was filled by pharmacist then complete ringing up. Then a second prescription pickup was called and again we are in a growing line of people waiting to get to counter to get their prescriptions. Now the pharmacist calls out that another customer's prescription is ready for pickup and I recognized that I was in line when this customer dropped off their prescription. This procedure is wrong and it should be first come next served at register. Anytime I've waited on a prescription, I've gotten in line to pickup and pay. This change in procedure needs to be changed. I wish I could give negative star rating. This place sucks! read more

This is THE WORST CVS Pharmacy in the world!!! Everytime I go there it is a long line down the aisle for the pharmacy. My doctor sent a prescription to them at 4 p.m. and they said it would ready in an hour. I arrived at 6:30 p.m. (2 1/2 hours later) and it still was not ready. Luckily for them I had a 30 minute wait in line before I had to approach the counter, which gave them a little more time. I am so glad that I cut the line when I first arrived and asked them to check to see if it was ready before I stood in a line extending down the aisle. Don't even get me started on the regular check out counter in the front. They are slow as well and don't appear too bright. Once cashier preceded to put on lotion before ringing me up and her lotion was not all the way rubbed in. She handed me my change and said "If it feels wet, its just lotion." Why would I want wet money from your lotion!!!?? I told her that she should have waited until her customers were gone before she started moisturizing. I was grossed out. I hate that CVS. The only thing it has going for it is that its 24-hours. You may get faster service at 4am (I had to go one time at that hour and was in and out...for a change). Thumbs down! read more

How does CVS get a one star? Well, this review is strictly for the pharmacy! This has to be the most unprofessional pharmacy I've ever had the displeasure of visiting. The line is always long and slow (more so than most pharmacies). My prescriptions are never ready when they say they are. The staff is untrained, and seemingly unconcerned. Staff that does seem to care are flustered and running around. Often, I'll drop a prescription and come back and they'll tell me they don't have the medication, or they can't find the filled prescription, yada yada I would never use this pharmacy again, but my boss uses it because it's close to our building and I always have to run to pick up his prescriptions.... Don't worry tho, there's a chipotle and starbucks nearby to chill my nerves! read more

The famous Chef usually do not review pharmacies but the overall service in Clinton, MD is so bad for every business the famous Chef Thomas will review every business in Clinton to upgrade the area. This service is the worst in the metropolitan Washington DC area. Do these people even care? Look at the other ratings here CVS DO YOU EVEN GIVE A DAMN THAT YOUR PHARMACY RATING SUCK? When the famous Chef Thomas informs the pharmacy clerk that they have lousy ratings the bovine asks the famous Chef Thomas "Do I want to continue?" This further amplify the low grade service. I haven't had a problem with this CVS until yesterday, an employee in the pharmacy drop-off section(Samantha)decided to yell out, "Don't you have Medicaid." She did this about 3 times while the store was crowded and the lines were long, as to embarrass me for having Medicaid. I have MS(but don't look it)so I was super disrespected by this. Then I was in the end directed to come back because I left my insurance card in my purse. I came back today and caught attitude from someone else doing the same insurance processing. But every time I go in there the lines are long. They text you, your meds are ready and they are not ready. Currently I'm in the pharmacy line to drop off prescriptions and update my insurance so I can pick up my meds. There's a line for dropping off meds. A line for picking up meds. A line at the consultation window. The pharmacy call line keeps alerting workers that there are people on the phone. There's one tech and one slow moving pharmacist. I have come here so many times and left due to the lines/ service here. I can't really leave this time due to my needs. I would say more, but it's unnecessary. If zero stars were possible that's what this place deserves. I'll be filing a formal complaint. I have a prescription that I've taken for the past 15 years and I've never had an issue filling it at any other CVS location. My entire patient history is in their system but for some reason the night Pharmacist at this location refused to fill it. When I dropped it off I was told it would be an hour. As always my insurance was run prior and the lady told me it was covered. The prescription was written by the same doctor it has been for the past 4 years and in the same dosage. I waited in the truck only to return inside to have this idiot refuse to fill it. He stated a law that isn't even correct and when I rebutted it he then used "in my opinion" in his statement. I'm sorry don't we go to the doctor for an opinion? He wasted my time from midnight until 1:00am he has no idea what he's doing and doesn't know the correct regulations in his own profession. Medication is being dispensed based on his "opinion?" He needs to be removed from his position and is a liability to CVS. read more

My mother goes to this pharmacy and is so frustrated she had to call CVS headquarters. She was promised as a long time CVS customer of many years that they would guarantee improvements in the location. They gave the wrong dosage of the medication but fortunately it was recognized before it was taken. CVS apologized by saying that even though it was a different dosage it would not have caused any harm! Once they gave time release tablets in place of regular tablets. I'm a chemist and deal with pharmaceuticals, dosage and timing are very important especially when a prescription is kept at a steady dose and taken for years!!! They have misplaced prescriptions time and time again. She is stuck here because it is the only place where her insurance is covered. Today the pharmacist told a customer he did not have a prescription on file there. The person insisted that he did and was there for 10 minutes, but the pharmacist kept telling him he had to go back to his doctor for another prescription. The man refused to leave so the pharmacist starts looking into the stack of prescriptions supposedly put entered into the system the night before and there she finds the mans prescription and fills it immediately. Evidently the one person didn't feel like doing their job and it trickles down to a few people taking the heat. Either way somebody needs to be fired, the system need to be updated or they need to get a new pharmacy in Clinton. They don't even deserve one star! read more
