When I think of small town Utah, I don't typically think of a German restaurant. But Das Café may change that for me. We were visiting my son at school and wanted breakfast, so hit Yelp for a recommendation. This looked to be a good option, so we found ourselves walking in the door of the café. As happens in small towns, everyone's heads turn to see who walked in. If you're looking for a traditional American breakfast of eggs, bacon and potatoes, you'll still be able to get that here-and the bacon in fan-freaking-tastic! You won't regret the pancakes either. But if you're feeling more adventurous, go for something German on the menu-that's their specialty.

This was my second time here and it was just as memorable as the first. Today, my family and I sat in the outside dining area, which was perfect! Our server brought coloring pages and crayons for my girls, and was happy to offer recommendations. I thought the pancakes were better than the waffle. The German Sausage Breakfast was superb. If you can get it with sauerkraut, do it. Best sauerkraut I've ever had. My wife got the Bratwurst Dinner (the creamy mustard dill gravy is phenomenal). Their signature carrot cake is decadent and enough for everyone in your party to enjoy a couple bites. Prost!

We stopped in for lunch and everything was awesome as usual. We got schnitzel, butternut squash soup, the salami and havarti baguette, and carrot cake. It was all fantastic.

Farmers breakfast with a bratwurst added. AMAZING.

Wow. Just wow. This place is so lovely and worth the drive from the city. So glad I made it here. The main building itself is really old, rad and small. It's attached to what looks to be a performing arts theater that has tables set up for when the main small portion of the cafe is full. Kinda fun. The main cafe portion is really nicely decorated and the kitchen is right there where you can see the cooking happening. The service was quite good. The place is not that big so it wasn't super hard to cover the place for the waitress and waiter. I've read some reviews complain about the speed of the food but this isn't a fast food restaurant. If you want that, go to one. This is a little local cafe with one cook bangin it out and killin it. The food, oh man, the food. It was really just so well done. If you like German food then get here. I stared with a lovely coffee and they had full fat cream. Well some on this place right out of the gate. I got the Farmer's Breakfast with an added Bratwurst. The bratwurst came with the authentic German mustard that must be eaten with a real brat. That was just so on point of this place. Round of applause. The Farmer's Breakfast skillet was so damn good that I didn't even use any of the salsa or ketchup I asked them to bring me. I just destroyed it all plain. It was epic. I also had heard so much about the carrot cake that I grabbed some to go even though I'm not a sweets guy. But of course, it was completely epic. If you're anywhere near this place do yourself a favor and come on in. You'll thank me.

Excellent food and excellent service. One of the best restaurants in Sanpete county, will definitely be back!

Excellent food, taste and presentation were as good as a much more expensive restaurant. Service was great and the coffee was fresh.

I'd been meaning to get here for ages. Finally, I came down from Orem just to have lunch. It was worth the trip. As far as COVID goes, there is good social distancing of the tables. Despite the Statewide mask mandate, no servers or cook had masks. I saw the only three people that came in with masks wore them well under the nose. You can decide things that matter to you. There is a lot of charm here. There is also a lot of love and excellent food. You are not going to feel you went to Germany, but I can't think of a better Reuben and German potato salad in the State. The one at Feldman's is every bit as good, just different. It didn't look as huge as it actually is. It will be two meals, in the end. Their carrot cake is every bit as good as the high expectations I had for it. It was just right for two people. It was a good thing we said we were going to want it, because we ended up with the last piece that was being saved for us.

Das Cafe is a must when you are in Spring City! THE BEST POTATO SALAD and carrot cake! Everything on the menu is amazing!

Yup! True to lore, there is a basket of discounted goodies on the counter. They pair nicely with a fresh cuppa, which is just what I did. The Chai Latte was delicious and the atmosphere is quiet and inviting-just what you want in a small town coffee shop.

We were greeted right away by a young woman manning the counter. She was working alone and there were a couple of other customers in front of us. She let us know she would help after she took care of the other two orders. During our visit pastries available included a variety of scones, banana bread and sticky buns. They also make breakfast sandwiches. As much as I would love one of thos big blueberry scones my pants say 'no!' so I settled for an americano instead. I wad asked if I wanted half & half, milk, or a milk alternative with my coffee, so you have options here. The coffee is smooth and a good temperature to drink right away. The front of the shop is bright with several cafe tables. A small display of cute coffee mugs, candles, ear rings and thermos cups for sale is also here. The order counter is half way back so if there is a line there is plenty of room to wait inside. Past the counter is a customer restroom. One for all, it is very cleab. In the back of the building is a very cozy livingroom area with a leather couch, rocking chair and two, two-seater, leather upholstered booths. It's a very 'homey' space. Definitely glad we stopped in Price for a break from a long drive. The historic Main St downtown is preserved western Americana. This coffee shop is definitely worth a visit!
