From the Salt Lake area and I have had hundreds of caramel macchiatos up there and can definitely tell you this place has a caramel macchiato that would out Starbucks out of business! 1,000% worth it. This place is so good I came 3 times while in town with my mom! I got the Van Halen each time cause why rock the boat. Haha. The girl working recommend it the first day we stopped by. Was not expecting such a lovely little coffee place in such a small town! We stayed overnight in Helper during our Christmas break, and in the morning I needed a cup of joe. Searched Google Maps and discovered there was a place right across the street. Happiness Within is, indeed, happiness within: it has ambiance you just won't find anywhere else, with comfy sofas and a decor that takes you back to simpler times. The service was friendly, even at 7:00 am, and the coffee was fresh and tasty. They have dozens of syrups if you like your coffee flavored; many, many more than you'll find at any of the chain shops. The name of this lovely little coffee shop is spot on-happiness is most definitely found within! It may appear small and unassuming from the outside, but once you enter the door, there is a large seating area with couches and tables and a selection of drinks that invite you to hang. Even if you're not a coffee drinker, there is likely something here for you. My son ordered a strawberry banana smoothie that he enjoyed. I had the house coffee-a medium/dark roast and was very happy with my selection. The young lady behind the counter was cheerful and gave us newcomers a few suggestions off the menu. In addition to our drinks, we got a scone and a muffin-both were great. Once COVID is a thing of the past, I can see myself curling up on the couch with a cuppa and a good book. Super Cute & Quaint Coffee & Tea shop on Helpers Main St. All of the Baristas are friendly, chatty and happy to help you pick out a drink from their vast selection, each drink is made to order. There's usually a homemade themed treat for holidays, all of the iced cake breads and cookies I've tried are delicious, and they always have packaged brown butter rice crispy treats for a treat on the go or to save for later. My favorite latte of the moment is their snickerdoodle Latte w/oat milk which makes it extra creamy! The atmosphere is relaxing and plenty of seating at one of the tables or if available their lounge chairs. Whenever we are in price we always make sure to stop into helper to visit. read more

We got a cold brew and a capuccino here, the coffee was average. I was hoping to get some baked goods for breakfast, and was very disappointed to see they had what it looked like days old baked goods wrapped in plastic. Still, we got a banana bread and a cookie. The cookie wasn't wrapped well and it was hard as a rock. I would recommend only swinging by for the coffee. read more

Ahhh, finding a good latte in Utah proved challenging. We are from Washington State, where there is a drive through latte stand on every corner and we all have a favorite in each town. To say we are picky about our coffee orders, is a huge understatement! I love a great decaf, made with coconut milk and almond syrup. Not everyone in Washington has these ingredients, not even Starbucks (called Charbucks here, by many, due to their bitter coffee) has almond syrup! Congratulations Helper, Utah! My family was driving down to the parks when we stopped by this awesome little coffee shop. So cute, super clean bathroom, and the best service! Great coffee - we tried a ton of different drinks and liked all of them. Plus, they have oat milk and almond milk options! No better place in town for a cup of coffee or expresso made any way you like. The baristas are so nice. The matcha Lavender Lady is my personal fave but the hot chocolate is good accept grandma. They offer all the non dairy options to enhance your experience as well as every flavor combination imaginable. The cafe is small but open seating is roomy & pleasant not too close to your neighbors so you can have a convo & still feel like it's gonna stay among your party.
