Darvier recently did an absolutely amazing job on a custom signet ring for me. From the very start it was an excellent experience. The woman who answered my initial phone call asked me questions that allowed her to pair me with the right designer. In my case, this was one of the one's who uses computer design software since I had some of the design in digital format. From there, I met with Ali. She helped me fine tune the details of the ring with sketches and measurements. And most importantly, helped me understand all my options as far as metal choices etc and their impact on my budget. I left with a highly itemized initial estimate, and a great feeling that my ring would come out just as I had envisioned it. Throughout the whole process, Ali kept in touch. I came in for a review of a wax version of the ring, made some minor adjustments, and finally approved the revised wax. From there, magic happened. My ring came out perfectly, even better than I had envisioned. The other thing I cannot say enough about is how passionate the Darvier crew is about their craft. This quality shows through in every aspect of the business from their professionalism, their attitude towards their clients and work, and to their attention to detail in all aspects of the production. Picking out a engagement ring can be a daunting and intimidating task, but Darvier took all of the stress and worry out of the process. We worked with Alex and he was so helpful, informative, and patient with our unique situation. Darvier was the first jewelry shop that I decided to check out, and after only a few minutes, I knew it would be the only place that I would need to go. I walked into the shop with a vague idea of what I wanted, but with a set limit on what I wanted to spend. Unlike one of the national "Chain" jewelers, they respected my budget and never tried to persuade me to buy something that was outside my budget, or push me towards a feature that I didn't like. The coolest part about Darvier, is they offer a unique option that allows you to design the perfect, custom ring, without sacrificing the element of surprise when proposing!! Essentially, they provide you with a "temporary" ring that you can propose with, and then you and your new fiance can sit down with one of Darvier's designers to design your ideal ring! They create hand drawn sketches and CAD renderings of your design before they cast the ring in their local metal shop. The final product was a breathtaking ring that is one of a kind, and ended up matching the budget limit that I set on day 1. After I had been to most of the jewelry stores in town trying to find the perfect engagement ring for my wife I knew that I wasn't going to find what a wanted in a glass case somewhere. After months of looking for an engagement ring for my now fiance, I stumbled upon Darviers Jewelry. I had never really shopped for rings before so I was not sure what to expect, but when I walked into Darviers I was greeted by amazing and very nice people. I walked into this place with no knowledge or experience of how this stuff works and they made the process as easy and comfortable as possible. The task at hand was for them to design a custom "Legend of Zelda" engagement ring, and they nailed it perfectly. During the design process I must have thrown 100 different decisions/ changes at Alex and you could tell it never once flustered or bothered him. I would drop in at random times, usually with making an appointment only an hour before and they were always willing to help. The unique design perfectly suits my unique wife, the quality is absolutely amazing so much to the point that my lovely wife gets compliments on it everyday! I recently went to Darvier Jewelry to have heirloom jewelry appraised. They had an initial appointment with me, took pictures and wrote (extensive) details about each piece, and reassured me of the safety of the pieces until their appraiser would be on site. I actually enjoyed the employee interaction...they were polite, friendly, and even fun. A very pleasant 1st appointment. I was called within the time frame that they gave me, and had a professional and detailed report returned to me with my jewelry. Initially, I thought it seemed costly (and it isn't cheap!) but after viewing the work the appraiser does to offer detail and reasoning for his findings, I was very impressed. had the most amazing experience with Alex at Darvier Jewelry design studio. My mother passed away approximately a year ago and left me her wedding diamond ring with the instructions to turn it into something that I would wear. I came to Darvier with that information and a heavy heart due to her passing and Alex and I created a beautiful, incredible cross with four of her diamonds. Alex is a very highly skilled artist. My fiance and I got both of our wedding rings made by Darvier. My wedding ring was a titanium band with live oak leaves and acorns built into the ring; his titanium ring contained the pattern of live oak bark. Both turned out better than we could have hoped! The Darvier team helped us design both rings--giving us suggestions that turned our original designs into works of art and pieces that will pass the test of time. Since I live in California, I was a little worried about the design process (I wouldn't be able to come in and see designs in person), but my fiance had only the best things to say about their team. A local place in Ft. Collins, Tim and his staff are courteous, professional and very sensitive to the needs of their clients. Always willing to share their opinions they are respectful of your needs and taste. My daughter and son-in-law went their for their very unique wedding rings. I have been with my husband for my better late than never engagement ring. Actually he bought the ring elsewhere but working with Tim on putting cognac diamonds on both sides of the band has given it a new shimmer and enough elegance to cause many people to comment favorably. We are so happy with our wedding rings! My new husband's ring was a bit simpler to do, but they did a great job with it and the engraving on the inside of the band. My ring started as a concept, and when I sat down and explained what I wanted to Jess she basically drew out exactly what I had envisioned. With a few tweaks it was exactly right. I am cheap. I was about to buy a wedding band at Costco when I decided to check this place out. The staff was friendly and helpful and never applied any pressure. It was awesome. I ended up visiting about 5 times before deciding to go with a custom ring from Darvier. Working with the artists was really fun. They embraced my ideas and helped me translate my non-artist speak into a beautiful ring that I feel like I helped create. Ali at Darvier Jewelry was very customer focused. I wanted to recreate a gold bracelet that my wife had enjoyed for years until she lost it. At Ali's suggestion, I looked thought photo albums for pictures of the bracelet. I found some old photos, but the pictures were not great. Ali created a model of the bracelet, then we revised it from the model. All along the way Ali was wonderful, patient and creative. We wanted to honor my grandmother's diamond that has been passed down and he created a computer cad design to compliment the diamond and created a beautiful jacket to surround it perfectly. Five star work and customer service. I had pretty messed up job done by a different store. They had to remake the ring. I was so happy when I saw the finished ring, I cried. I didn't expect that. But a wedding band is very special and they treat it that way. Had multiple conversations about the ring and got to approve the wax carving before the mold was made.
