The Arena Theatre might seem big from the outside looking in but once you walk the hallways and arrive to the center, seating is fairly easy to find because it is one big circle. The concessions stand offer light snacks (pretzels, popcorn, hot dog, etc) and the average well drinks. I recommend locating the WC before the lights dim so you will not walk around in circles. I do not know if it was the sound engineer for that particular night, but the vocals were off in the beginning and there was a bit of feedback interference. About halfway through the event the sound was corrected. Overall, nice intimate spot to see your favorite artists up close and personal.

Oxana is a creative director and collaborates with many community professionals to deliver high quality entertainment for kids and adults. Kids love the classes and always look forward to perform! The costumes, the stage composition, engagement among the dancers of wide range of ages, starting as young as 3 years old. It is amazing how 30 - 40 kids can be organized in a 2.5 hours show :)! It was a very entertaining performance, and the costumes were show stoppers on their own. The show was about 2 hours, with an intermission. The first half was performances based on the movie Frozen, however, the second half was completely different with no more mention of the movie. I really enjoyed both halves, however, my daughter was disappointed that the second half did not continue the story and that the beloved character, Olaf, was only in one dance. The second half had fabulous performances that were more geared to the adults in the audience, while the first half was more for the children. All in all, it was an amazing show with beautiful performances and stunning costumes. Definitely worth the trip downtown! Now the Sunrise Dance Company is actually a dance studio, and while I cannot reflect on the quality of the studio, the quality of the performances portrayed at this event at the Hobby Center were definitely professional.

My 8-year-old daughter and I went in. the waiting room alone was definitely something to see. even though the tickets were slightly expensive at the time they have gone down since then by half. we started to walk through the exhibit I was floored. the amount of time effort and energy and creativity the people that put this together did in this space is far from just saying its amazing! ITS FREAKING PHENOMENAL! Each exhibit is well thought out and they are all awesome photo ops. We had a blast! A year later I took my 17-year-old son. The price went down but also some of the exhibits were gone. I was informed that they were building something else in place of, but was disappointed because a couple of my favorite exhibits were now missing. the rain room was awesome, but it's gone now. I think they should bring it back because walking through a rainstorm and not getting a single drop of rain on you is mind blowing. The fact that I can bring both of my children with huge age gaps and interests and both of them found this place to be interesting,fun and unforgettable is really all that has to be said.
