I miss this place sooo much! I was a client of Lisa's and moved to the North Shore. She always got my blonde just right and the cuts were always amazing! She was also very pleasant to talk with! Miss you Lisa! read more

Have been going to darling for years and am finally getting around to writing a review! I have gone to them for everything from regular hair cuts to hair for prom. they're super friendly, and do a fantastic job! I usually visit Lisa and she's the best but everyone there is very sweet. I also love that a lot of their products are non toxic so it all feels really good. price is super reasonable,$70 for a cut and blow dry. There's usually street parking out front but if not there's a parking lot on their backside that you can use too. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a hair dresser in needham! read more

AMAZING!! My kids had a great experience. Precious is amazing. Great stylist. The owner and staff are very warm and welcoming. Definitely a hidden jewel. Absolutely recommend. Thank you all so much again! read more

Can't believe I'm the 1st to review... .-Jen, the owner is sweet, professional, and organized -the salon is beautiful -the service is excellent -and my hair get compliments from complete strangers... Nuff said! Oh...and the price is fair and worth it! read more

I was a part of a bridal party and we all got our hair done at this salon. I have uber curly hair that usually scares hairdressers when I ask if they know how to cut it. Becky and Nicole did an amazing job making my hair fabulous for the wedding. Becky gave me a trim and created the perfect shape for my curls to fall despite that I had my hair straightened for the wedding. All in all, this salon is a diamond in the rough. I recommend for any curly girl out there who needs a reliable hairdresser. read more

Felicia transformed my mom's hair from mop to magnificent!!! She was the best and I recommend her! Allie - at the desk was great too!

I went to Darling for the first time last week. Nichole did a great job on my hair. The salon is clean and pretty. Everyone is really friendly. AND you can book online...which is a huge plus I think. I will definitely be going back! read more

I have been coming here for many years. I don't live in the area, but I continue to come. I go to Lisa and she is a phenomenal colorist. But all of the stylists are great. The owner is very nice and her caring about other people is apparent from the moment you walk in. Love this salon! read more

Feels like a boutique salon, without the exorbitant price tag. Stylists take their time and don't rush you through. Complementary scalp/neck message is a nice extra touch. read more

Lisa did a great job styling my uber thick hair! Thank you so much!

I got my hair cut and colored here for the first time last weekend, and I was so impressed. I came in looking to get my hair cut off a few inches to shoulder length and some highlights covered up. Lisa was incredibly helpful and took the vague ideas I gave her to create a really nice and maintainable look. I'm so happy with how my hair turned out. The rest of the staff was helpful and welcoming too. I plan on going back again next time my hair needs some care. read more

Had a wonderful experience at Darling Hair Boutique! Julie gave me an amazing cut that was just what I was looking for, and a red carpet worthy blow out following. She started with a scalp massage and washed my hair which felt great. She was extremely sweet, and the salon was welcoming and clean. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely be returning! read more

Ask for Nicole-- you won't regret it! Both my husband and I have been going to Nicole (and others, when she's not available) for the last few years and have had amazing experiences. My hair always gets compliments after a cut from Nicole! The staff is friendly, the styling is great. read more

I've been thinking about getting a perm for a while, so I went down to Needham Hair Boutique and I asked for big, loose waves with some curls at the end, and mentioned Veronica Lake's hair several times as an example of exactly what I wanted. I ended up with hair that looked like it had been crimped with one of those god-awful crimper irons I had in junior high, and then ironed flat, and then crimped again. It was more "textured" (i.e. a huge, crimped, frizzy mess -- not the least bit curly or wavy) not to mention looking NOTHING like "Veronica Lake" hair. I went back to complain and the stylist shrugged and said that she used the largest size curlers they had and that there was nothing she could do (also, found out after the fact that she had no idea who Veronica Lake was, but didn't say that when I was describing the hair I wanted) Huge rip-off -- stylist had no idea what she was doing and HURT my head while she was doing the perm to boot! read more

If I could not give one star, I would. My aunt, who is currently undergoing radiation for brain cancer & lost 80% of her hair, recently visited your salon to have the remainder of her hair buzzed off. She was charged $55, which is the price of a full cut and blow dry. I am absolutely appalled and disgusted by this. She should've been charged AT LEAST half. There was no hair left to blow dry. read more

Felicia Aucoin is awesome. Love the cut. Felicia and the team at Darling couldn't be kinder or more welcoming (particularly as I am a guy and often don't feel comfortable in certain salons). Free and ample parking at Walgreens lot next door is a nice plus. read more

Felicia is great! Very talented and always gives me just what I asked for.

Excellent salon. Nicole did a fantastic job in my hair. This was my first time there and Nichole listened to what I wanted and totally understood what I meant. A+++. Definitely going back. read more

I was looking for a new hair stylist last year, when I ended up working in Needham. So I made an appointment at Darling with Nicole and since then I have no problem with my haircuts. The service is consistently friendly, the staff always offers tea or coffee, the atmosphere is very warm and my hairstylist Nicole is just plain awesome. read more

The place was really nice and clean and the people there are friendly. They are good at small talk which is nice since I'm not. It was 62 for a haircut which was alright. My boyfriend complimented my haircut in that it's the nicest one I've gotten in years, so that's a pretty good sign of the quality of work here. read more
