I talked with the florist and the bouquet they sent exceeded my wildest expectations -- absolutely beautiful, a fresh and creative arrangement. I am not good at uploading photos, but I will try to get someone to help me do that later. I did call the nurses station to confirm that the flowers had arrived, and the nurses, who see bouquets all the time as part of their job, remembered these flowers and immediately knew that they had been delivered and volunteered that the flowers were "gorgeous."

He cleared off a little space for me to write a card, and I described in the vaguest terms what I wanted. (Which is not like me, I usually come with mood boards and color samples). To make things more challenging I had brought in a specific vase I wanted to use. It's big, chunky and fragile. I'm sure a lot of places would have been reluctant to manage the responsibility of this hunk of crystal. Also it was a bit of an odd size. Anyway, Abe gave me lots of time to write my card with a chair. We discussed the intention of floral arrangement. We agreed on a price which wasn't cheap, but neither was what I wanted. This is a fancy boutique place and the cost was in Keeping with that. I also requested if he could please text me a photo of the final arrangement, which you can see here. Y'all... look at this! Absolute perfection! Very glamorous and he had it over to its recipient within a few hours. It exceeds my expectations. Otherwise, the shop of course smells amazing. The case is filled with a great selection of beautiful blooms. And the lovely lady who works there was very kind to me, as well. She found some paper so I could write out a draft of my card. You can tell they care about quality and don't cut corners. This is the second time I've bought flowers here, and I'll definitely be back.
