Absolutely stunning arrangement from Designs by David. I received the most gorgeous flowers as a gift and was astounded at the magnificent size and detail of this arrangement/ a work of art! The arrangement was so heavy - probably weighed about 20 pounds. I was so thrilled to receive this and have enjoyed looking at this beautiful arrangement. Thank you read more

Super-talented floral designers here, including the owner David Mark. He is a truly hands-on passionate flower lover and floral designer aided by another incredibly talented lady, America. They always return calls and texts. Delivery drivers share their travel and real-time arrival via text updates, like UBER EATS- a huge bonus for those that are delivery anxious, like me. DSD serves the most elite clientele, but they are just as happy to create masterpieces and exemplary service for those on a budget. I've used David for almost 30 years. Solid and dependable. He often delivers flowers personally. I think it's because he enjoys the recipient's appreciation of his work :) read more

Phenomenal service by David!!!! Found this business on Yelp and then, I checked out his website! What an awesome selection of high quality floral designs! I needed a floral spray for a funeral service on a Sunday afternoon. I picked out from his website, Ivory Radiance. And it fit within my budget. David went out of his way, on a day his shop was closed, and delivered the design to the funeral home in a timely fashion. When I arrived at the service, what I saw is a masterpiece!!! The Floral Spray arrived better than pictured on his website. David used the highest quality, freshest cutting flowers possible. I'm deeply impressed with how well it turned out! The family was very appreciative and grateful on my kind gesture. Well done, David! If you ever need any floral arrangements, whatever the occasion, Designs By David, should be your next go-to florist! Gorgeous and beautiful work! Highly recommended!!! You won't be disappointed! Thank you kindly, David! I'm a client for life, now!!! read more

David and his team are simply amazing. The work is always phenomenal. Just so I am transparent. David is not inexpensive.. but good quality never is. He takes pride in his work and always makes me shine. The reality is you can't purchase a bouquet from real local supermarket for nine dollars or you can go to designs by David and spend $90 and the difference is painfully obvious. Very much is true about a steak you can go to Mastros and order a steak or you can go to Denny's and get a steak and the quality will be different. Please believe me when I write that the sweetness of the savings is much shorter than the sweetness of making someone's day read more

We are out of the area and wanted to send our daughter a gift plant for her upcoming career change. We found David via google, selected from the website and ordered. About an hour later we got a call from our daughter. The plant was already delivered, by David. He told her how to take care of it and she was blown away by the quality, beauty and service. Great example of how neighborhood business should work. We paid a fair price for a beautiful product. Service should add to the experience of any purchase - this place brings that to life. read more

This review is based on the customer service experience plus quality of flowers I have received from David. Just wanted to share my experience with David. I have written another review with my experience of another flower shop and the similar experience happened here with David but was addressed differently. I had to use David as my client who the flowers was for lives in a different city. First time using and wasn't impressed. With what you're paying (close to $100 with shipping) I was hoping I would get something close to what I ordered. I understand there are substitutions made but even you stated there "at least the same vase". The response was "they went to the market already" but I want to add I definitely placed my order at least in a day in advance. This was not a same day order because if that was the case I would totally understand. Even though I believe some sort of communication should have been mentioned that there may be some changes to the order. I sent a text bringing attention to what happened... No effort towards let's make this right or correct just a simple "I hoped you would like it". Didn't fix the problem where I got something way different that ordered. Sure I may not be a big client ordering a lot of flowers for a wedding but I would hope every client would get fair treatment and care for. read more

I'm happy I found "Designs By David" on Yelp because I wanted a beautiful flower arrangement delivered to a close friend that just had a baby. David listened to what I wanted and did a wonderful job designing a special arrangement that made my friends day and got her into the holiday spirit. The delivery cost was extra and to be expected. I live in New York and wanted to do something memorable for our friends. David expresses true art talent in his floral arrangements! Anyone would be satisfied with his craft. read more

I had delivered flowers for my wife's birthday and it was exactly same as I thought. thank you

Once again Designs By David comes through with the big WIN! I used to think that this establishment was solely geared to very high end and very expensive arrangements, but my opinion has changed for the better. Designs By David is still high end, but honestly they're not any more expensive than other local florists. The quality is superior, and so is the service. This florist is, and will continue to be my "go to" florist. Thank you Designs By David (and especially designer America). read more

I ordered flowers from here for my boss' wife for their anniversary. I requested a bouquet of lilies to be delivered within a few hours. Since her office is relatively close to their shop, they were able to manage delivering it very quickly. I requested Maura, the sales associate, to send me a picture of the flowers before they went out. The flowers were beautiful and the arrangement was elegant, but they seemed a bit plain and simple for an anniversary bouquet - they sort of looked pretty wedding-y. I'm not sure if they're going for an "understated" approach for their special occasion arrangements, but I wish they were able to make it look more romantic than they ended up to be. Perhaps I should've been more specific about what flowers to include or how many, but I am not knowledgeable about flowers enough to be able to elaborate that specifically. The service was great. The sales associates were very knowledgeable, competent, and attentive. I am very pleased with how quickly they were delivered and even when I called after they had been sent out to add a request for the method of delivery, Maura jumped on the phone to communicate with the driver immediately. Stellar service, elegant and fresh flowers, swift delivery - definitely a great experience! read more

Absolutely excited to recommend Designs By David. The customer service was beyond my expectation. I contacted them after hours and I received a response right away. Considering the late hour and the special requests for specific flowers, he was so kind and considerate. He told me, he would go to the flower market in the morning and he would hand deliver the arrangement that afternoon and he did. AMAZING! The arrangement was exquisite and unique. David has done two events for me now, my birthday and most recently my engagement party. The flowers were so stunning for the engagement party that it looked like a wedding. I had small arrangements done for the cocktail tables and large arrangements done for the dinner tables. They were breathtaking. Everyone thought it was so beautiful we should just get married, right then and there. David's staff was friendly and timely, which is so important when you are doing an event. David was willing to work with my budget and understood my vision completely. I wanted white hydrandgeas, roses and peonies with orchids, lilies and a touch of lime green. So summer, so bridal and so beautiful. Highly recommended for any of your event needs!! read more

Wow!!! It takes a lot to impress me with flowers (since I used to study ikebana) and the beautiful arrangement I received from my bf is breathtaking. I know he relies on Yelp as much as I do but the last time he tried ordering flowers for me from a highly rated place, it didn't go nearly as well. I applauded the effort on his part but it didn't look anything like what he or I wanted. This time around, he scored major brownie points with Designs by David. Everyone in my office loves the flowers and the admin even asked for the card and wants to start ordering from there. Every time someone walks by my office, they stop to appreciate and compliment the flowers. read more

Used a yelp deal $125 for $100 for mothers day (awesome), but not sure if I got my money's worth (not-awesome). I ordered a bouquet delivery to my mom in LA (polite service, arrived on time), to have the same look and feel as the chic bouquet. At the time I ordered it was~$80, so I asked them to add more flowers to make up the difference. I can't speak to the quality of the flowers (difficult to see over a picture), but they seemed to have already bloomed and the arrangement seems a bit sloppy. To be honest, I feel a little cheated as there doesn't seem to be much of a difference between this and the original- while it is slightly bigger, can you tell me where the extra $45 worth of flowers is? Is it just me or does the actual bouquet not seem to have the same aesthetically pleasing wow-factor? =\ read more

So you are now dating someone special and you want to make a good impression? Designs by David You just had a great experience, and you want to let them know how amazing they are and send the ultimate thank you? Designs by David I have been using David's service to communicate my love, my affection, and my passionate (and sometimes misguided) feelings for years.... for business or for pleasure. David is now on the west side, after years of being in West Hollywood. He delivers everywhere and he specializes in weddings, but luckily for me, I have not had to communicate that message, yet. Don't waste your time for a simple low cost arrangement, use 800-Flowers.
