Thank you Yanira & Johnathan for helping me on my wedding! I was amazed at how everything came along with pictures and couple calls. Exactly how I wanted! From my bouquet to the arch everything was perfect! I can say that with ANY floral arrangements... give David's Flower a try!
My first experience at David's Flowers was was terrible to say the least. Not only was I grieving a loved one but I had to deal with the worse customer service ever! I placed my order on 11/20 at 12pm with Maria. I placed an order for angel wings to pick up Saturday morning 11/21 at 8am. When I spoke to Maria on the phone she assured me my order would be ready on time. While on the phone I also double checked if I would need to leave a deposit to make sure my order was fulfilled. Maria stated a deposit was not necessary and my order would be ready. Immediately after placing my order I received a text with my receipt that clearly has a pick up time of 8 am. I arrived to the flower shop at 8:30 am and approached Maria to pay and gather my flower arrangement. Maria first stated my order was ready and proceeded to go to the back to get it. As I look towards the back of the shop I see an individual still working on my order and Maria disappears and returns about 10 minutes later informing me my order was almost ready. I then went on to ask what was causing the delay because I clearly asked for a pick up time of 8am ( mind you if was already 8:40 am) she quickly went on to say the arrangement was about to be ready. Maria brought out my order at 8:50 am. Being that I was already about 15 minutes late to the funeral services I asked Maria to work with me on the price for the inconvenience caused. She then went on to insist their was nothing she could do. Very frustrated and annoyed I paid full price for the arrangement and proceeded to leave. As I was getting in my car Maria began to bad mouth me as a paying customer to a few waiting customers outside the store. All I can say is that I will never be returning my business to this flower shop and will make sure I let everyone know to stay away from their poor customer service. If you are looking to purchase any flower arrangements please take your business to Lupita's Flowers on the corner of San Julian and 8th street.
I was extremely pleased with their customer service and their prices. When i called to ask about their prices they advised their prices and also asked if i wanted to provide my phone number to receive pictures of the different arrangements and sizes. This is a Medium size Funeral arrangement for $85 and comes with the stand. Also if you want a band they charge $15 if you want the wording printed on it or it's free if you choose to go with their hand written band with glitter glue. They were able to have it ready the very next day. Thank you David's Flowers ! Ps. I NEVER write reviews but i definitely needed to leave them one.

The price was awesome but the arrangements were beyond gorgeous and customer service was great. Would definitely use them again!
I wasn't planning on having centerpieces for my wedding rehearsal dinner, seeing that I was spending a ton for the wedding day itself, but at the last minute, I scrambled to find a florist that could work with my budget while providing something cute to spruce up the space (the dinner was being held at a brewery in DTLA.) I was lucky to run into Jonathan at David's Flowers and he patiently listened to me while I explained to him my vision. He was also kind enough to quickly do a mock-up. He didn't have all the flowers he intended to put in the centerpieces at the time, but he promised the end result would look good. I walked away crossing my fingers and hoping for the best, but to be honest, I could tell Jonathan knew what he was talking about and I wasn't too worried. What I didn't expect was how AMAZING the centerpieces ended up being. I got tons of compliments from my guests asking who my florist was - and even my mom, a retired florist who is quite snobby when it comes to looking at other people's work - was highly impressed with the quality of flowers as well as how well put together it was. The photos don't do it justice! Jonathan, if you're reading this, THANK YOU! I found my new go-to florist in L.A.!!!
Beautiful flower arrangements for my aunt's funeral. Yanira was wonderful to work with. I ordered the arrangements online, and spoke with Yanira over the phone. They were ready when I asked for them, and the guys helped me load them into my car. Thank you!
Dealing with Jonathan was a delightful experience even during a difficult time before the funeral of our beloved one. He was very accomodating in taking my orders from sample pictures that I provided him. He tried his best to match all of the flowers shown on the sample pictures. I helped my families to order 3 standing funeral flower bouquets, 1 half-casket flower bouquet and one receiptionist table flower bouquet (see pictures). The prices were very reasonable and competitive. Flowers delivered were just as what we all expected, so it was a very great deal for all of my orders. The detailed works and attention are what you can rely on them. I will order my flower bouquets with them again for future events for sure.

I found them in yelp and I didn't have to go into the store. Instead, we communicated through phone/text. They sent me pictures so I can get an idea of what the sprays look like. I ended up purchasing 2 sprays. The price was very affordable! On the day of delivery, they sent me a text before they were delivered along with a picture of the arrangements. You couldn't tell from the picture but When I got to the services, they were huge and beautiful! So happy with their service and their products.

David's flowers has the best quality and best price out of the several florists I have tried for funeral flowers. I called the morning of the viewing, and spoke to Maria. She was able to help me out over the phone, and sent pictures to me of the flowers. She had it delivered before the viewing as well. When I got to the mortuary, the flowers came out perfect, and the family of the deceased was complimenting and thanking me for the beautiful funeral spray. Their prices can't be beat, and for same day local delivery they are the florist to call. I will definitely be using them again! Thanks for a gorgeous flower arrangement on such a late notice.

I was going to the LA flower district so I can make a funeral floral cross but then I drove past David's flowers and saw one on display, exactly the way I wanted it. Instead of cutting plywood and buying flowers and supplies, I picked one up from David's on that same day. The flowers were fresh and they were professionally done. This saved me so much headache to make it. The cross was a fraction of the cost of what a mortuary would charge. Note: you can also buy a bouquet of roses to replace any wilted roses so it lasts longer for the funeral read more

What a very sad delivery for mothers day. Not only was it 2 days late. It was no where near the dimensions it was supposed to be. I paid 149$ for this. Its supposed to be a large at 23 inches tall and 18 inches wide. It was only 19 inches tall at the tallest point. The vase alone was supposed to be 12 inches and it was only 8 inches. Dealing with Jonathan was a delightful experience even during a difficult time before the funeral of our beloved one. Not pleased with the outcome of my funeral flowers. I ordered two from this company and one is very nice the other is horrendous. Now the two stars is based off customer service. I told the lady I didn't order flowers like that and she argued with me saying I did instead of fixing the issue. Very disappointed as this is an extremely hard day for me and they wouldn't off to fix the mistake they made. read more

My first time buying flowers from David's Flowers and I am very impressed. First I spoke to Jonathan and he was very sweet and very courteous in helping choose and decide which bouquet best suit the occasion. After that my experience was with Alejandra. I must say Alejandra was very meticulous in the detail of the Billings, the information needed to be delivered, the time it needs to be there, and last but not least the most important part; the bouquet itself. Before delivering the bouquet, she sent me a picture of it and I was very happy with what she made. It was beautifully done. So, I asked her to send me a picture of the bouquet and herself so she can be credited for such a beautiful job.....attention everyone, Ms Alejandra!!!! FYI....I also have to give credit to the delivery person. Other delivery person just drops off to whomever opens the door...nope!!! This delivery person walked all the way into the office to ask for the recipient and handed it to him!! Very well done!!! read more

I went yesterday to order flowers for a funeral, customer service was great pricing was spectacular. I opted to pay a lil more for delivery so I wouldn't have to worry about it. Unfortunately flowers did not make it on time for service, which was upsetting because it was the only flower arrangement ordered for the service. Arrangement was beautiful!!!!! I couldn't have asked for more and for that I'm appreciative, my advice ask for it to be delivered a few hours before. I asked for 1030 for 11am service and flowers arrived at 1130 read more

In a business with so much competition David's flowers definitely goes above and beyond to help their customers. I came last minute to get an arrangement for my Doctor and although they were just setting up and didn't have many arrangements on display they were kind enough to make an arrangement for me on the spot! I have come here to order floral arrangements for 2 very different occasions--a wedding & a funeral. Both times, I was ecstatic and very much impressed with the work Jonathan & his colleagues put into every detail. I had ordered 22 tall center pieces, the bridesmaid's bouquets, the corsages, & boutonnieres for my sister's wedding & absolutely loved everything about them! They worked with my budget and tried to give me the best flowers with the best deal. Because I was so happy and extremely satisfied with their professionalism & their products, I came back to them for floral arrangements for a funeral and again, was not let down. Since my first call to Davids flower I was very satisfied. Yanira helped me over the phone sent me pictures of via txt and I was able to choose what I wanted. She also emailed me the credit card authorization. Now when I picked up my arrangement I was impressed, they exceeded my expectations. I was so happy. My flower tribute was place in front of the chapel everyone was taking pictures of the arrangement everyone was telling me how beautiful it was. I'm so glad I dealt with Davids flowers and the ease that they made this day for me. My flowers were fresh and smelled so good. Found this florist out on a whim.. I was looking for a place that could do some funeral floral arrangements and I came across this place!! Can I tell you that I'm sooo happy that I did!! Yanira was so helpful and got exactly what I needed and wanted..The prices were beyond reasonable and the arrangements that were delivered on time may I add were beyond beautiful!! I was so impressed and so happy!! If you have any event that you will be needing flowers please check them out first!! You will not regret it!! read more

We were so happy with the flower arrangements we ordered. We were too busy to go in and order so we called to make our order and they made it relatively easy for us. We ordered two heart floral arrangements and one casket spray. Two of the orders were from their yelp pictures and one was from Pinterest and their arrangement came out better than the example! Hopefully we'll never have to order for a funeral again, but we'd definitely use them again for any other floral needs. read more

I am so happy I went with David's Flowers on 8th street for my big wedding day. They went above and beyond my expectations and I couldn't be more happy with how the flowers turned out. They were very affordable and accommodating. They even made my flower girl an adorable flower crown. read more

That would be considered a custom/special order so I would suggest you call Solomon and ask for price.
Do they deliver?
Yes but they delivered to our funeral late , so order for earlier time
Does this florist do corsages, like for prom?
Yes! If you have a picture of a corsage you like... they can def create a duplicate or even add some extra from your idea(s)
