I brought a brand-new windshield here for tinting at a cost of $250, which is on the higher end, so I expected the workmanship to match. Instead, the job was subpar, with visible debris, including hair, trapped under the film. I contacted the owner, Jason, who assured me they would make it right if I brought it back. When I returned, I carefully marked the affected areas to help them address the issues. Instead of fixing the problems or even discussing possible solutions, they removed the tint entirely--without consulting me--and told me to take my business elsewhere, claiming it "wasn't worth re-tinting." I brought the windshield back in good faith, expecting professionalism and accountability. Instead, they took it upon themselves to undo the work rather than correct their mistakes. For the price they charge, I expected far better workmanship and integrity. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

For the tint on my last vehicle I used a local auto glass company that seemed to do a fine job. That was until 5 years later when the back window tint started to bubble and peel off. When I showed it to them they said "yeah the glue was bad back then ". Then they offered to put on new tint for $140!!! Why should I pay to repair their sub standard work!?!?!? Fast forward to this year and I asked my new car salesman for a recommendation on a company to do my window tint. He recommended Darkside Window Tinting so that is why I chose them. When I arrived at my appointment time Jason explained, described and showed me samples of three different levels and quality of tint. I didn't have any choices the last time I got tint!! So being that I am buying and not leasing my car and hope to keep it for a long time, I went with the top of the line tint. It also works to block some of the dangerous sun and keeps the car cooler. I sat there for about an hour and a half (just like Jason told me on the phone) and the car looks awesome! Jason put tape on the window buttons so that I would remember not to roll down the windows for a couple of days and now it looks perfectly normal. I would definitely recommend this place!! read more

Got car back water substance running all down passenger inside and outside passenger of car. Can't speak to the quality of work, however, I agreed to pay $100 for two windows over the phone, which is already high. I then wasted my time coming in and was then told that the film for $100 was poor quality, a good, lasting, film would cost me $140+. Maybe give these options over the phone, not lure people in and change the cost on arrival, poor business. read more

I was given a price for his "decent film" then given another quote for his "high quality film" then charged me extra for a lifetime warranty, so I paid for it and when I contacted Jason for warranty work he claimed it wasn't his fault and blew me off. The quality of work is great. The problem is that you will never know the actual price until you go to pick up the car. I have taken multiple cars there and each time, the initial quote is one price, then when I get the car up there, it is another price, and when the car is finished and I go up to pay, it is another price. With each stage, the price contiues to go up.....never does the price go down. But one thing that is consistent is the initial quote is always a good price, but by the time your car is finished, you are paying more than other tint shops and since there isn't a courtesty call telling you whats what, when you get up to pay and its not what you expected if you question it, a disagreement will ensue. At least this was my experience two different times with two different cars. Other tint shops are straight forward about the price and quality of the window tint, but that seems to be lacking here. . . read more
