Front windows at 20%.
Jenni D.

I've been coming to Carlos for 20 years. He is the best around. He is honest will tell you what will work best to match any current factory tint (back windows). He has a bright, clean, new location that will be easy to wait for your vehicle. He did my Bronco in just under 2 hours. I highly recommend him.

I got my car front windows tinted there today. Carlos did a great job. His work was amazing. He was done on time. It took him one hour only to do the front windows. His work place was extremely clean and very well organized. Thank you Carlos.

Just got my 1994 toyota pickup truck tinted, great work and got done very fast. As well as a cheaper option compared to other places, with high quality tint too. Would definitely recommend this place if you are interested in getting your car or truck tinted.

20% on my front windows to match the rear

I had a 1999 Extended Cab Toyota Tacoma tinted here back in 2013, and just recently I had a vehicle totaled which led me to acquire a 2002 Extended Cab Toyota Tacoma, so naturally I knew where I wanted to go. 5 Star Yelp reviews and a price competitive to that of other tint companies in the area + no wait time helped solidify my choice. Carlos is the employee who did the tint job. I told him what I wanted - match the front windows to the rear and do a 5% windshield strip. He walked outside with me and we agreed on the strip length. He even grabbed me from the seating area to make sure that's the length that I wanted. I waited until it was complete and took an hour to an hour and a half total. Would recommend to others. I've taken my vehicle back to this establishment after 5 years or so, and will continue to be a (satisfied) customer. Very nice work!

After reading reviews of tint shops, I brought my new Camry to Darkside Windows Tinting. All of these positive Yelp reviews are right; Carlos is a true professional, doing perfect work. Pricing was very competitive, In the past years, I'd had worked with another local tinter, but their administrative stuff was too annoying. So I looked around, found Darkside, called Carlos; and, was scheduled for the next morning. Easy Peasy! I am totally satisfied with my tint. Carlos is the best of the best!

Carlos did a great job on the tint and decals for my 2015 Challenger!

I was looking for someone to tint the windows on my new 2015 Challenger and I chose Carlos based on all the positive Yelp reviews. I am glad I did! He did an exceptional job on the windows! I also had him install a hood decal as well as side decals and the work is outstanding! The communication was great and he kept me informed regarding the status of the install and went out of his way to let me know that the initial set of decals for the sides of the car weren't looking right due to the mirror cutouts being off a little bit... Thank you! I'd much rather NOT have something that doesn't look right installed on my car! I contacted the vendor and they cut a new set of decals without the mirror cutouts and I came back the following week. Carlos took care of the mirror cutouts during the install for a custom fit! Everything turned out perfect! My car is beautiful! Thanks for an amazing job! Great prices and great quality! You don't need to look anywhere else!

After looking at my truck he let me know right away the factory tint on the rear windows was too dark to match the front legally.

I drove one hour both ways to get it done at Skyline, which I think tells you how badly wanted to get the windows tinted here. Here are pros and cons, followed by my advice. PROS + Andrey is responsive. He answers questions thoroughly and responds to emails quickly. + He is in this business for 20 some years, and he know the stuff. I went in thinking I will go with 35%, but he recommended 30% and advised against going any lighter than that. Initially, I was a bit worried that 30% would be too dark, but I'm glad I followed his advice. 30% is exactly what I wanted and looks great. It's like picking a paint color for your house. You would know until you see it on the house, but experienced professionals know what it will look like. + I thought the price was reasonable. I chose a single layer ceramic film by autobahn. It took them 4 hours to install it on my C43 coupe (side windows and the back). I paid $400 plus tax. With the quality of work and the time it took them, I don't think $400 is bad at all. + It was clear to me that customer experience was important to Andrey. He threw in a bottle of window cleaner made by autobahn for free. I found two really minor scratches on the passenger door (probably caused by finger nails, nothing deep). Instead of arguing with me he offered to buff them out. CONS - I can't think of anything. MY ADVICE @ If you need to kill time while they are working on your car, Alderwood Mall isn't too far. As I had 4 hours to kill, I walked there and back. It took me 40 minutes each way. Adjacent to the mall are H-Mart (Korean grocery store), Costco, and a couple of strip malls. @ As always, whenever you give your key to anyone, take pictures of the car. I usually take pictures and video tape the car. Although I didn't have to deal with it with Andrey, it's the only way to avoid your word against theirs. @ It comes with 3~5 days of curing time. During that, you cannot roll down your windows. Also, you may see some minor bubbles, but they are supposed to disappear. Once the curing time is over, I will post some photos. In any case, I highly recommend Skyline Tint Shop! ************************************************************ If you found my review helpful, don't forget to hit "useful" and/or "cool"! They recently installed full PPF on our GR Corolla, and I'm still blown away by the attention to detail in the install. If you're looking for a reputable installer for PPF, ceramic, and tint, this shop is it! Not only do they do a phenomenal job on the install - their "post-install" support is the best I've experienced with any shop. In August I had been rear-ended by a much larger vehicle and had it repaired by a local collision company. After all the repairs were completed, I had Metropolitan Detail put another wrap around all the areas that had to be repaired or replaced. Made my 4Runner look like new again. In late December I accidently rubbed against a large yellow post with my front fender, in a tight parking lot. Lesson learned - do not park near any columns. In January I had Metropolitan Detail buff out the yellow paint and restore the right full fender flare. Since I did not have time to take it to Metropolitan Express beforehand, I was able to have it hand-washed at Metropolitan Detail during the same job. I picked it up on January 13th, and it looked like it just rolled off the show room at the Dealership, but only nicer. Metropolitan Detail does quality work and I continue to go back to them to help me keep my 4Runner in a super nice condition. Thank you, all for taking care of my 2024 4Runner.

I have been coming here for about 5 years for windshield repairs and the service is always quick and friendly. We took it to a professional leak detector, who discovered that the windshield was loose. He was able to push it in and out. He showed us where the adhesive had failed and explained why (which had to do with misapplication of adhesives used by Speedy). When I went to Speedy, explained what had happened and asked for a refund, what I heard was "we don't have that invoice in our system anymore" (never mind that my copy was right in front of them); the manager says he doesn't have authority to give a refund and that I could email information to corporate (essentially, not my problem); "you should have brought it to us as soon as you knew there was a leak," even though I didn't know that the leak was related to their faulty windshield installation (once again, making it my fault, not their problem). "If the installation was faulty, it would have been leaking right away" (not true and, again, denial of responsibility). I should have brought it to them to repair as soon as I knew it was leaking so they could make the repair (unrealistic expectation - how would I know that the leak was related to the windshield? So whenever there's a leak, I should just automatically take it to Speedy to find the source instead of to a professional who does leak detection for a living?) The manager was more interested in finding reasons to avoid responsibility than in providing good customer service. They didn't do a good job in the first place, and then expected me to trust them? They pushed back on everything and essentially refused to take responsibility for faulty workmanship, and made it my fault for not following the letter of their warranty rules, which are designed to ensure that they will never be held accountable for shoddy workmanship. The manager did not think that being able to move the windshield in and out when pushed constitutes a failure. They would neither acknowledge nor show concern that their faulty installation caused a SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE - driving down the highway with a loose windshield. Airbags are designed to hit the windshield and curl back to protect you. An airbag deployed with a loose windshield would have been no protection at all. I could have been hurt. Others could have been hurt. And still, they will not stand by their work. Their "lifetime" warranty is meaningless; a faulty installation is a faulty installation and they are looking for any excuse to refuse to make it right. I never agreed to be put in harms' way. Oh, and then there was the employee who pulled the plug on the computer/phone system, disconnecting me from talking to the manager. IRRESPONSIBLE. DISHONORABLE. UNPROFESSIONAL. STAY AWAY. In response to the requirement that I should have brought my vehicle to you to inspect the leak, I repeat - I DID NOT KNOW THAT THE LEAK WAS DUE TO THE WINDSHIELD BEING IMPROPERLY INSTALLED WHEN i HIRED A PROFESSIONAL LEAK DETECTOR. Your website does not mention leak detection, so why would I have brought it to you under these circumstances? Your requirements are onerous and unreasonable. It was obviously a faulty installment or the "lifetime windshield" would not have come loose. You have a copy of the leak detector's invoice with his findings. He is a professional and is not lying. Would you like me to bring you the windshield and glue so you can see where it failed? I'd be happy to do that. The fact is, someone in your shop botched the installation. Whether or not I asked you or someone else to identify the source of the leak, whether or not you will take responsibility, the fact remains that someone in your shop botched the installation.
