When I first walked in, I was not welcomed. It was more of a "let's hurry up and get this done what do you need?" interaction. Besides that they weren't too rude. Anyway, I got this piercing. The process was rushed but I noticed after looking at it later that night it was extremely crooked. Gave them a call to ask if I can get it repierced. When I first told them what happened, I got hung up on. Called a second time, straight to voicemail. I waited a couple of minutes, called again and explained what happened. So, instead of taking accountability and saying I can get it fixed the man on the phone blamed it on "the tongue naturally being crooked"...does that make any sense? I've seen multiple snake eye piercings that are straighter than what mine was. I don't know if they didn't want to offer a free repiercing or what but I'd rather them apologize for the inconvenience and just tell me I'd have to pay still than come up with some lame excuse. I hate that I didn't get the person on the phone's name. He knows who he is though. Thats not how you handle a situation with a customer. A simple fixed piercing isn't going to hurt anyone. read more

I got my nipples pierced here before with jeff maybe about 3-4 years ago and he went through some scar tissue (which should hurt a lot and bleed a lot) but the way jeff does his piercings i barely felt anything + barely bled. I went again yesterday to get them repierced and once again, the man did his thing. obviously he's going through a ton of scar tissue because i get my nipples repierced everytime they close but i barely felt anything and literally no bleeding. this man is recommended to my friends fsfs. he has a light hand and doesn't use the clamps to hold the skin to pierce. he's very talented at what he does if im not wrong he said he's been doing it for 18 years. I've been to darkside multiple times for piercings first time was a septum for $20 second was my tongue for $20 third was my rook, forgot the price but between $20-$30 fourth was two helix piercings & a conch all for $50 fifth was my second lobes on each ear for $30 in total sixth was a flat and a 3rd lobe (just one ear) for $30 in total this was all over the course of 2-3ish years? but anyways i come to this place because it's very quick and cheap. i can tell all of you right now that i have never once gotten an infection on any of my piercings, the only time i've ever had an irritation bump was on a nostril piercing i got at a place that wasn't even in san bernardino. this place is amazing to go to, and i recommend it (...for piercings! i dont know about tattoos because i haven't gotten one here!) to everyone in the area. i advise those of you who want piercings to ask for jeff. there's a reason why clientele builds up at this place, why there are so many walk ins, it's because it's very reputable! for reference, i got recommended this place by a friend who has a large number of piercings! this place is great, the jewelry is great quality that won't cause irritation unless you're unlucky or just not cleaning properly, and it's very quick! don't know if i'll be getting more piercings as a personal decision but if i do, i'd definitely keep coming to this place. read more

Has always responded to my random questions and gives astonishing feedback to my ideas. I've gotten an American flag on my forearm, American flag bow and a cute tat of my dog that has passed away. I was in the area and kind of on a whim I decided to get my septum pierced. I was looking up reviews for places nearby and DarkSide came up! I quickly called to make sure they had any septum jewellery left (it was the day after Friday the 13th and a lot of places had run out) and went in shortly after. The place was nice and quiet and very clean. They have a great selection of jewellery and a gorgeous walk of tattoo designs. Jeff greeted us and he did my piercing. He was super professional and knew exactly what he was doing. He was also so sweet! Not the greatest for piercings. The dude who gave me mine were a little rough. The back of the piercing is a butterfly, which I didn't know was not recommended and instead a push pin backing is recommended if anyone does get theirs done, request a push pin backing and if they don't have it look somewhere else. The earring he used to pierce the ear was a diamond but didn't have a flat surface on the ear either, the triangle part is sinking into the lobe. Please look elsewhere or make sure it's not the dude with large gauges. read more

If I could give a zero star I would, I went in today with my friends and I did not get his name because he didn't once say it or introduce himself to me while talking with me or doing my tattoo. But it was a white man with huge gauges and all I can say is that he was so damn rude, I asked if they had flashes, said they don't do that there.. ? So how does someone see your work, so I asked "do I just look something up? Or give you ideas on something and you draw something up?" And he said "I can draw up a hundred things and you will say you don't like them and waste my time." To which I replied ".. yea like I said can I tell you what I WANT and you draw it up?" To which he says "uh yea sure." Which is whatever but then when I try asking him about if he knew what the Evil Eye was and if he could do something like that he says "no I don't theres a lot of eyes out there" and then refers me over to a candy machine type thing with tattoos in it so you get what you get for a certain price. I only went through with it after all that attitude & hostility while he spoke with me because of the price which was 40$. Why work at a tattoo shop if you don't want to be there? We came in 30 minutes after they had just opened with not a single other customer for him to help, don't work somewhere if you don't want to do the job it's that simple. Also the tattoo is pretty crappy, the lines aren't even, one of the wings on the bat only has two lines while the other has three, the sizing of the wings is wrong, for 40$ it's whatever but damn.. this is going to be on me forever so you could have cared about your job just a little damn more. read more

at first, i left a 5 star review for getting my nose pierced here because i was very pleased with the experience i had with this shop. it was very quick and cheap. however, when switching the stud to a hoop at a difference shop, i was informed that it was pierced at the incorrect angle. i still switched it, however, it kept getting irritated and the hoop was very uncomfortable. i'm not sure if it had to do with the angle it was pierced, but i would not reccomend piercing your nose here if you are planning to switch your stud to a hoop eventually. read more

Great place to get work done. I never thought I'd get myself feeling ink addicted but after getting my 3rd piece done, I've finally found my artist a Mr. Jesse Rooker, also a fellow rotorhead like myself. I believe it was Jeff, the owner, that I also met while we did my shoulder piece and he's a cool dude, makes you feel comfortable and able to BS with while you're under the needle. Everyone is approachable, professional, and just chill. I love the "Shop Rules" sign that specifically states "if you are: pregnant, drunk, stoned, dirty, smelly, ignorant, pain in the ass, or a rebel/resistance scum, please come back when you are not." You can tell that some of the reviews left on their Yelp page are of the pain in the ass type. So with that, if you're none of these things, you'll like coming to DarkSide. read more

This place is a horrible place to get your piercings I got my ear piercing done here and it g got infected really bad And I paid 20$ and I thought my piercing would never get infection and it did I kept it clean all the time and it got worse it was hurting really bad it was so swollen and painful and red when I finally took out the piercing it was really bent And used looking and the guy who did it didn't wear gloves when he showed me the piercing and he didn't even clean the jewelry after he touched it with his dirty fingers.. Don't come here and no nowonder it was cheap... Go to Lucky 7 its across the street.. it's a way more clean place for tattoos and piercings.. read more
