I've come to rely on this local gem for all things oil and vinegar related…read more I keep Basil olive oil stocked at all times. I can't find it anywhere else without additional additives. A little goes a long way. The tuscan herb infused olive oil on chicken or veggies is easy and super cheffy with little to no effort *thumbs up* Their tasting vinegars are outstanding, especially now that the holidays are here. Lots of peeps are looking for non-alcoholic alternatives. A tablespoon of tasting vinegar + club soda = special fizzy treat *easy peasy* Tasting vinegar sounds strange, but give it a try *YUM* and actually super healthy and more importantly... Delicious!!! I tried and bought smaller bottles for a gift basket for the parents: Elderberry balsamic vinegar Blueberry balsamic vinegar Lemongrass Mint balsamic vinegar Nobody wants more "stuff", so something high quality, practical and delicious was an easy gift solution. They also have even smaller pairs and trios of already packaged oil and vinegars for a quick and affordable gift on the go (less than $20). Pro Tip: A tablespoon of vinegar a day keeps heartburn away.

I brought my wife and oldest daughter to downtown Ashland to window shop. On a whim we strolled…read moreinto Press for Oil. What a wonderful find! I was astounded by the depth and breadth of variety of balsamic vinegars, especially. Not sure if your pick was optimal? Have another taste test from the sample here, there, and way over there. Get a small bottle. Then upsize when it's time to resupply or start the process over. I think the next time I'm bringing some friends and making this into something akin to wine tasting. I was 100% impressed by the help we received as well as the vast selection of olive oil and balsamic vinegar!

AI explained that weekend service was available, but it would cost more. We called back Monday at 0800. A technician, Eric arrived within an hour. He covered his shoes and checked our hvac system. He explained that the fan on our 26 year old system froze up and had to be replaced. He explained what replacement would entail and provided an estimate for the repair. Since our hvac is 26-years old we asked him about replacing whole system. Eric said he could only give us information about fixing what was broken and another tech would have to talk to us about whole hvac replacement. Bobby arrived about 2 hours later. We researched CR for recommended whole hvac replacement before Bobby arrived. We knew what CR said about quality and pricing before he arrived. Eric had briefed Bobby and he knew where everything was. He rechecked everything and discussed with us parts and labor. Bobby covered his shoes also. Replacement was expensive. CR recommended getting repairs if you could due to costs, but in our case our hvac was on its last legs. And temps in triple digits were expected. The system was top rated and the cost was reasonable. Veteran's discount were applied. And we got a hospital rated filter too. Next morning at 0800 Zack arrived within two other techs. The covered their shoes, put canvas over all the floors and by 1600 all new systems were in place, inspected and Zack provided tutorials on maintenance and use of thermostat. I recommend Janhke H&A 110% . I could not imagine more professional and considerate service. 0% financing is also available.

My 2011 Audi A5 needed to have the front control arms replaced…read more I had read good things about these guys so decided to stop in to see whether they'd be willing to do this repair. I'd gotten an extremely high quote from another Ashland mechanic and was considering doing the work myself. Valley View Auto Repair quoted a very fair - and much lower than the other outfit - price and were able to do the work the next day. When I picked up the car, the bill was less than they had quoted me, as the scope of needed work was less. And the car is perfect again! I really believe these are some honest mechanics that want to do right by their customers. I will be back next time something goes wrong with one of my cars.

They have now charged $4000+ for various things, and HAVE STILL NOT FIXED WHAT I ASKED THEM TO FIX. They either argue, and pretend they know better, or ignore me completely. If they know better, then why is the issue still not fixed? I have ran the problem through every AI and got the same answer, I've talked to 17 mechanics, all agreed that the issue was what I told them. But these scammers, refuse to do their job. On top of that, I dropped it off with a full tank of gas, took them over a month to get it back to me, and the gas tank was empty? There's no explanation for a full tank of gas to be gone, with them just doing test drives or starting it to idle, they clearly did something else that used a full tank of gas, in a car that's extremely fuel efficient. I'm reporting them to the ASE, and BBB avoid them at all costs

Valley View Auto Repair - Here's a very general estimate found online: I was charged $375 (labor $287 + parts and shop supplies $87). Also Oregon = NO SALES TAX ;)

Surprisingly good experience here. I didn't come here expecting anything more than average service,…read morebut my expectations were exceeded. Things can get messy when you have family in town visiting, and even more so if your family consists of many people like mine does. To spare the details, sometimes someone brings a kid who has the stomach flu, and, when they do, sometimes bad things happen to bed comforters. A mere washing at the laundromat near my house did nothing to remove the odor, so I took it down to Nu-Way along with a down comforter that had suffered a similar mishap (yep, it happened twice). Upon arriving, I was told by the woman behind the counter that dry-cleaning was actually the wrong thing to do for comforters and thick bedding in general. Apparently, not only will the chemicals dessicate the down feathers of their natural oils, they will also remain in the fabric and, if you like to pull blankets over your head, may kill you (!). An exaggeration on my part, but you get the idea. So, rather than dry-cleaning, we took their offer of washing the comforters using ammonia, which apparently neutralizes bad stuff (I don't know). Came back later in the day and they were done and ready to go. They both smell fine now. Pretty fast turnaround, too. I'll be back.
