Fantastic. Eco friendly, quality printing, great service…read more I used these guys for a large banner job three years ago and they did a wonderful job. They helped me get exactly what I need, and everything worked out fine. Today, looking for a different type of signage for another client, boom - I thought of them. I was still in the system, got my same rep and he had a quote to me in 10 minutes. This is how customer service works!

Also known as "carbon copy" which I learned is an outdated term. Much like the copy paper which is increasingly harder to find. I was on a deadline and luckily found this shop. Placed an order by phone and then stopped in for a conversation to make sure they and I, were on the same "page." Twenty or so minutes later I left with copies in hand. For those needing services in copy & printing, it's an alternate to the chain copy shops like FedEx Kinkos. BTW, most in city Kinkos locations do not carry "carbon paper" or it's newer term carbon less copy or NCR paper. **Those needing paper leases, they can take care of that job.

I've used the developing and scanning services for bnw and colored film. What's interesting is that…read morethis store, unlike other labs I've been to, did not cut my film to fit into A4 sleeves so that I can conveniently store them away. Instead, they use long thin plastic and insert the entire film roll in there (see photos for example). I find this slightly inconvenient, as I will have to cut the film myself and put them in my own film sleeves. I can also tell that the scans are sloppily done. A lot of the scans are not positioned correctly, and I can often see the edges of other photos in the scans (see photos for example).

Not being at all artistic (graphically/visually; my words and food, however, will make you accept the existence of God... and want to make it rain on me), I need help in this area. Scratch that, I need a lot of help in this area. That's where Andy and the pros of HD Design and Printing come in. You know those flyers for the Open events? HD. The menus for Yelp Eats. That's HD, too. Posters for Yelp Gets Cultured? That would be Andy and co. Passports to Pilsen? Yep, HD did those. Basically, when it comes to representing what I do in an easily accessible visual/tangible medium that has nothing to do with 1's and 0's, I call upon Andy and he makes magic happen. And, it is magic. This poor guy has had to deal with vague requests. Last-minute requests. 1235867 changes/edits to a request. Never has he been exasperated, snippy or in the least bit rude. Never. If he can exude this kind of calm professionalism in the face of Hurricane Johnny T and Yelp Needs (it's my band), he can handle anything. And, he does. I would wholeheartedly endorse HD and Andy for all of your printing/graphic needs. The rates are extremely competitive, the work is always top-notch and the level of service will shock you with how accommodating, patient and telepathic it is. HD's at the point where I can point, gesticulate and mumble something in tongues and the order will be correct on the first try. Magic. And, they deliver!!

Yay! HD was awesome!…read more We were looking for someone to print our wedding invites, which were kind of 'different' and a little complex. Lots of little design elements, a to-be-perforated rsvp card for the guests to tear out and send back. . . not to mention, the very creative and skilled fiance did everything in Corel, a program apparently no one uses. After being denied by another local printer, we found HD, and we are so glad we did! Not only did Andy have no problem at all with the Corel, but Damien even perforated the invites for us- at no extra charge. They were both so, so friendly and more importantly, did a great job. Great guys doing great work!
