Secondly, you seem to always promote my friends & their events (flosstradamus, hollywood holt, etc), which makes me love you even more. For a freebie, UR has in-depth music and entertainment venue information, movie reviews, seasonal…read morepreviews and restaurant profiles. The print quality is higher than most of this type of throw-away magazine you see sitting in piles just inside coffee shops, bars and local stores around town. You won't have to wash your hands after flipping through it to see what's new or up and coming. Unfortunately it's a bimonthly (6 issues per year) which means sometimes by the time you get it some of the cool things they mention have already passed. It's also not as deep a look under the hood as, say Time Out Chicago. But hey, it's a fun five minute read and you got what you paid for. Even the ads are pretty creative and not too annoying.

I think they are part of a bigger corp an in many city with the UR moniker. I like the slick images and variety of stories they did. They wrote about anything that was popular and up and coming but then changed years ago to mostly stuff Ive never heard of or cared about. From reading the other reviews on here, sounds like they sold out and completely changed into something else. Should have changed the name I guess instead of soiling what they were built on.

This site is unique because members can submit their own designs up for voting by the community. If you score high then your shirt gets printed and you make money!! I also love that by participating in the community, such as posting pictures of yourself wearing your threadless t-shirt, or by spreading the word on the street team, you win points which equal money for future purchases!
