Well the owner Stephen is anything but! After his initial visit and telling us he WOULD do the job, but he had to finish up another customer and scheduled us for 2 weeks later. When we finally got an estimate a month later he left off most of what we wanted done! He did revise it after my husband let him know, but by this point we knew this guy was just another flake when he told us he didn't know when he'd even be able to start. Not only was it exactly what I needed, they even took an extra step and leveled out the back yard for me too. I am so pleased to have my jungle gone and my yard back! About half of the thyme in the walkway has died. On further investigation I find that it was just stuck on the ground with no drip irrigation to it all. (Will attach photos) It took a few weeks for this to become apparent as she and her crew did a very thorough job of hand watering everything before they left. So of course, the failure to install irrigation to those plants didn't show up for a couple of days. This after she assured me that her crew had checked all the irrigation and that it was fine. I am still trying to figure out how to deal with the little loops of irrigation tubing that are sticking up in the middle of the pathway, embedded in the DG. Also some of the pavers by the sidewalk are starting to lift, one is as much as 1/2 inch higher than the sidewalk...and it hasn't even begun to rain yet. No wonder she insisted on being paid on the spot. Stay away from Garden Girls.

Working with them was a dream - extremely responsive, great ideas, collaborative with design and suggestions, and really kind to our kiddos who were curious throughout the process. The irrigation system in the back had been destroyed by our puppy, and the front was a huge weed patch. Kellie and her colleagues took a lot of time to get to know us and our needs/hopes, which were: low maintenance; drought resistant/tolerant but not succulents; and dog friendly/durable. We shared photos of landscapes, trees, plants, and color palettes that we liked, and then Kellie worked her magic! She and her crew worked steadily, cleanly, and thoughtfully, and they communicated regularly throughout the process. Once everything was in, we opted to continue working with Kellie for monthly maintenance and really value the care and support that the team provides. Because of Integral Landscapes' good work, the team tends to be busy, and while we began our work with them in the summer/fall of 2018, they weren't able to begin working on our landscaping until early in 2019. But, once on site, we were a clear focus for them, and the work-- even with some rainy days-- was done quickly and well. In other words, it was absolutely worth the wait! We also had to navigate our budget a bit, and the team was thoughtful and supportive on that front. We opted to stretch our budget and the team was able scale back on a few things without compromising on the overall plan and vision. It was worth every penny. Kellie's professionalism, expertise, discerning eye and genuine care, the meticulousness and excellent planning of the whole team, Kellie's affection for our rambunctious dogs, and the team's clear and open communication has made Integral Landscapes an absolute pleasure to work with. We feel lucky to have found them and give them our most enthusiastic recommendation!

Owen and his company, Mitchell Landscapes, were highly recommended by the landscape design company we worked with. We obtained other bids, but ultimately selected Owen because of how personable, professional, and knowledgeable he was. We couldn't have been happier with the end result. The ten-week project included a concrete patio, retaining walls and steps, irrigation, drainage, lighting, fencing, pergola assembly, gas and electrical lines, plants, ground cover (gravel and mulch), and fire table and hot tub installation. Owen's crew was skilled, friendly and hard-working. His foremen Al and Nestor were amazing to work with and did an outstanding job leading the project. Owen was closely involved every step of the way. He provided numerous suggestions that either weren't in the original plan from the landscape design company or were an improvement to the original plan. This was one of the biggest reasons we're glad we worked with Mitchell Landscapes - Owen's combination of strong design and practical sense resulted in a landscape that far surpassed the original plan. Owen was also honest, transparent, and fully committed throughout the project. Even after our project was completed, Owen and his crew came back several times to check plants and irrigation, as well as to unload and carry a 600 lb fire table into our backyard. After the outstanding experience we had working with Mitchell Landscapes, we will definitely use them for all of our future landscaping projects.
