My go-to order is the chicken Cornish, and I always substitute the rice for zereshk polo. The rice is perfectly fluffy every time, and the barberries add the most delicious tang that just brings the whole dish together. It's seriously so good. They're also incredibly generous with their lavash bread, which I love because it pairs perfectly with everything. But what really makes this place special is the service. Everyone here is genuinely so kind and attentive, and I mean everyone. You're always greeted when you walk in and again when you leave, which just makes the whole experience feel so warm and welcoming. There's also an older gentleman who is always there with the biggest smile, checking in to make sure everything is perfect, and it never goes unnoticed. I also love that it's pet-friendly. Great hole in the wall for legit Mediterranean food. One of our go to spots in the area. We ordered the combo koobideh and Cornish hen. The koobideh was ok, not bad. But the Cornish hen was simply out of this world. Free bread is a nice touch. Their special rices are also amazing. We found this place by chance while we were on our way to the airport. It was a small restaurant and the Persian grill caught my eye! There was free parking lot in the back of the restaurant super convenient. We walked inside and was greeted so kindly immediately. The waitress was so sweet. Super friendly! Friendly service, food was brought to our car parked behind. While the meats were perfectly seasoned, both were dry. The adas polo was quite good, but I prefer my own made at home with plenty of fresh medjool dates, Darbari's few dates were dry like a preserved food item. The Greek salad is nowhere near the level of My Greek Kitchen a few blocks away. I'm not very experienced with Persian cuisine, so I tried one of their popular stews, but it wasn't to my taste--so I wouldn't order that again. However, my husband had the chicken and beef kebabs, and they were absolutely delicious! The rice was amazing. We also had an eggplant appetizer with grilled onions, and it was so good. I highly recommend those two items. I'd come back for the kebabs and that eggplant dish! I wouldn't recommend the stew or the yogurt drink (they weren't for me), but others might enjoy them.
