I checked online and discovered this boutique up the street. It's a lovely boutique; clean, organized, and well stocked. I had zero pressure and the employees made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. The owner went out of her way to make me feel welcomed, offering advice and even showing me beautiful ways to wrap my hijabs. I had a Lou of questions and I felt like I took a few hours to shop and decide. Not once did I ever feel rushed, and never did the owner get annoyed. She was extremely patient and kind. The boutique has everything from abayas, under caps and hijabs, to flowy pants, pant suits, everyday dresses/skirts, and blouses. So there's something for all women, not just Muslim women. She also has jewelry and a nice selection of perfumes. The merchandise is great quality and the prices are fair. I left with a great starter wardrobe for my new journey. I plan to return to get a few more dresses before I leave MN, however, she also ships nationwide.

Also, shopping at N'etc helps me figure out what's in style and what I like. N'etc. has the most beautiful goods, the finest fabrics--things in cashmere, silk, mohair, and lovely shoes, many made in Italy. These are truly lovely goods catered to a casual luxury look that I just love.

I love the way the items were all laid out; there were little vignettes with things arranged how they would be in your own home, which made it easy to want to buy everything. The selection was wide, with dishware, home accessories, little trinkets, & some clothing items. Everything was reasonably priced; there were a few items that I passed on, only because I talked myself out of them lol. They also had a little corner with some snacks & what looked like lemonade, which was a sweet touch. The shop owner was also SUPER nice, she helped us with any questions, then directed us to some other good vintage shops in the area. My friend and I were strolling around Midtown Global Market and came across this cute little store…read morewith trinkets from over 30 countries in Africa. Martin was a total sweetie and answered all of my friend's questions about the products, especially the drums which my friend was interested in for her son. He looked up the meaning of one symbol that was carved into a drum. He told us not to drum with anything but hands, that the drums were made of goat skin. He showed us the different sounds each drum made and how to tap it in the middle or tap on the sides, and how to stop the sound. We learned that there is a drumming expert that comes in on Sundays at 1 PM and teaches kids and everyone how to drum. The drums are marked at $400 but there were signs around saying half off and he negotiated even below that with a smile. (There is an ATM machine very, very close.) Lastly, my friend left her cell phone on the counter. We were in her car driving away when we realized it so we called her phone and Martin answered. He ran her phone to the exit and gave it to us. Raza is very skilled and honest!…read more I took my watch for repair to the 3 other jewelry/watch stores in the mall and no one was able to fix it, one refused to take on the job as it was risky, one said they don't do repairs and last one did not want to fix it because I did not buy it from them and then I found Raza as I was walking by the food court. He looked at it and said that he can get it done within 20-30 minutes and shared the cost upfront which surprisingly was very reasonable compared to what I thought it would cost. And long behold, he sure did fix it within 30 minutes. He shared pics of the work performed also, again skilled and honest! I will definitely be recommending people to him as he just does not do jewelry and watch repairs but also sells some pretty nice jewelry and watches. Looks like his shop can get real busy but it is definitely worth the wait.

I'd been going out of my way to WBL to a franchise I will not name, so finding a closer alternative to me and being able to support a small business owner is a huge win. This place is a kiosk right across from the food court. I came in for a new watch battery and was greeted right away by the friendliest guy working in the mall that day. It took only about 10 minutes. They've got some good stuff in the cases to check out, so it could be dangerous to linger, you might end up coming home with some new pieces. The service was super fast, ultra friendly, and the cost was reasonable, along with a one year warranty on the battery. Can't beat that.
