Previously founded in 2022, the shop has recently moved to West Saint Paul and is conveniently located next to Backstory Coffee and Wabasha Brewery. Back Pocket specializes in being an all inclusive shop carrying all sizes including plus sizes. In addition, donations for store credit trade are readily available with staff and if anyone needs clothing, Back Pocket is willing to help with no questions asked. Lastly, home decor and furniture exist as well. Come support this business and make a day out of it since there's a ton of cool spots nearby. I have been a loyal customer since 2019, purchasing multiple items every-time I visit! Unfortunately, this past visit, there was a sweater in the window display that was my size and well-priced. When I asked the sales associate, who was the only person working during this time, if I could purchase the sweater in the display window, she informed me that their policy restricts them from removing clothes in the display window because "it is too difficult to take the sweater off of the mannequin." She informed me that I should come back at a later date when they swap out the clothing in the display window to purchase the sweater. I informed her that I was from out of town and my return flight was before that date. She told me that they could ship it, which I'm sure I would have to pay the shipping costs on, even though I was already in-person at the store. I am not sure if this is a real policy or not, but if it is a real policy, they should really consider removing this and making the mannequins for accessibly. Located in Concourse G, the store is like a playful little escape from the monotony of travel. The vibe is light-hearted, with its colorful displays and quirky assortment of items that immediately draw you in. The selection is as eclectic as it gets--think funky socks, inflatable travel pillows, funny t-shirts, silly gadgets, and some random, offbeat snacks. There are 3 parts to this store and you owe it to yourself to experience them all! I started in the style area, which is the clothing part of the store. This is an upscale women's apparel store, with habitat, Liverpool, Johnny Was, and many other upscale brands. All of it is beautifully curated and displayed. You will have fun browsing the racks. The sales associates were super helpful and knew exactly how to interact with people--making customers feel welcome, but not pressured to buy. Downstairs, there is an amazing sales area. Don't miss this gem! Bargains galore and beautiful things! I'm sure it changes regularly. Then stop at the cafe and have a coffee, pastry, or freshly baked cookie.
