I even had to reschedule short notice because of something that popped up. She groomed my pooch just the way I wanted. Short hair, especially on the folds and face. I found K9 Grooming through Yelp and I'm so glad I did. We drive 30 minutes to get here and I won't lie, the salon is pricey. It usually costs me around $300 with trip for a standard Aussie and mini Aussie regular groom. But it is absolutely worth it. My dogs are my babies. We have a 6-year-old Aussie we've had since he was a puppy, and we recently added our rescue mini Aussie who is now 8. Our rescue has extreme anxiety from her past trauma, including living in a hoarding situation. The team here treats both of our dogs like family. I've never once worried about the way they're cared for. The salon is spotless. Anytime I walk into a grooming place that smells like urine or feces or is chaotic with constant barking, it's an instant red flag for me. K9 Grooming is completely different. It's clean, calm, and you can even watch your dogs being groomed so there's no mystery about how they're treated. Recently our neighbor warned us about fleas in the area, so I called K9 as a concerned pet mom. They were so helpful. They told me they'd start with a regular bath and, if they found any fleas, they'd do the treatment and call us so we could prep the house. Sure enough, they found a few a went forward with the flea bath. They provided me with helpful information and next steps. I sincerely appreciate the level of care, transparency, and customer service the staff provide. I could never take my dogs anywhere else after coming here.

They give you a report card at pick up. I used to feel rushed talking to the girls with prison officers watching but now that my oldest is almost 14 and lots of medications and supplements. A fee is charged if you are late (which I never am), a fee is charged if you do not groom the dog before bringing it to be groomed by her shop, a fee is charged when you are in the hospital if you missed an appointment, and the pet is groomed to her liking to make her job easier even though she over charges you for inadequate work. I have groomed my dogs weekly for years and the most I have been charged for both dogs is $80. My dogs look the worse they have ever looked and I have been charged almost $300 to groom 2 small dogs. Rip off salon, poor customer care and terrible grooming.

When she owned the business on the street, of course she would have to start charging for no shows, late arrivals and pick up. I found if I called ahead and let her know something happened, then she was most understanding, But I never abused that. It is a business, and she was usually booked solid, so that is lost revenue for lost time. I usually got charged for some matting, even if I thought it wasn't bad, it still is time. My Diego always came out looking smart and handsome.
