He LOVES going to the groomer because he has never once had a negative or stressful experience there. I tried to make a same day appointment last week for my dog to be fully groomed but they said the soonest possible time would be the following week. That was no problem because they're worth the wait. So I made my appointment for the following week but asked the woman on the phone if there was a chance she could just clip my pups nails that day since they were pretty unruly. She said of course. She trimmed Oli's nails that day and said that since he'd be coming in next week to be groomed that I didn't have to pay separately for the nail trim since it's included in the price of the grooming. Both groomers have been so sweet and accommodating to my pup and I. I felt terrible because I was 15 minutes late to Oli's appointment and would've totally understood if they had to reschedule me. Luckily the gal who helped me said that it was okay. These women are phenomenal and really go the extra mile for the dogs and their owners. Even though I was late they still groomed Oli between dogs. It's a win/win my dog gets to hangout with the rest of the dogs while he's getting groomed and I get to pickup a happy clean pup! Plus their prices are extremely reasonable for the quality and care they put into their work! A prime example of an amazing small business with wonderful employees

I'm glad that I found them!…read more My dog, Brenda, and I recently moved to an apartment in Woodburn, Oregon, and unfortunately, my dog is extremely noise phobic and anxious overall, and this has made it very difficult to keep her at our apartment-- we live on the bottom floor, and Brenda panics every time that she hears noise from the upstairs neighbor; and this has made daily life miserable, with her constantly on edge and panicking over every sound. After researching local boarding places, I contacted Oak Grove Kennel about boarding my dog temporarily while I figure out how best to manage Brenda's anxiety moving forward, because keeping her at the apartment was not working (she is now on medication for her anxiety, but the medication takes time to fully work, which is another reason for my wanting to board her: give her a comfortable place to board while the medication has a chance to take effect). And Oak Grove was more than happy to assist me. Brenda boarded initially at Oak Grove for eight days, and it worked out great. The staff was even nice enough to allow me to make periodic visits to the facility so that I could visit Brenda and ensure her that I didn't completely abandon her -- I visited about three times. I then brought Brenda back home, had a few rough anxious nights, then brought her back to Oak Grove for another boarding stay -- and Brenda is currently at the facility as I type this review. And just like last time, I have visited Brenda a few times over this past week! The staff at Oak Grove is very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. And, like I mentioned previously, they are kind enough to allow me to make visits to the facility to visit my dear sweet dog, something which means a lot to me because I miss my dog greatly when she's away. I've had nothing but positive experiences with Oak Grove Kennel -- and I highly recommend them!

Debbie has been amazing and it's incredible to have seen her business grow from a little shop to now, a whole salon with workers. I appreciate her and everything she's done for my pups, but frankly these past couple of years haven't been great. She's constantly busy, under delivers and the workers just don't outperform Debbie. We've had more negative experiences like issues with haircuts, long wait times and not the greatest customer service from the newer groomers (super passive texts). Just little things add up over time and I just got to the point where I'd rather just part ways and leave with better memories. Super sad but best wishes to all!

She wouldn't let them work on one of her paws. She's never let them work on one of her paws. She shows teeth but they've never reported anything more. It's unfortunate and a little disappointing. They do an alright job. It's super convenient but Moon our german shepherd is always really damp when I pick her up and it's a hit or miss with the proper grooming especially around the potty area where if not done properly can create a mess and the hair matted since our last grooming. Perhaps I shouldn't have asked them to please pay more attention to that area when I dropped them off. It's a bit of a mad house but I appreciated them working with us with Maggy's sensitivity to her paw being worked on.

I've only recently started taking my two dogs in. I have an older dog that was taken in for check…read moreups and they handled his reactive behavior really well. We also got a puppy that has been receiving her vaccines through this clinic. I am always impressed with the vet assistance, they are so kind and thorough. Our personal favorite is working with Stephanie, she's eager to be involved and really listens to our questions and concerns. Our vet bills have never been unmanageable, and I don't feel that we've been taken advantage in our situation. On the down side, we've have trouble with the front desk. They can be very rude and blunt, but we have no other vet in town to choose from. They also bring at least 4 or 5 small dogs that stay behind the desk, and they are sometimes on top of the counter. This is very stressful with our dogs that have just had their vaccines and they've been pushed past their comfort zone, to then have their growling dogs on the counter while we try to pay for our vet bill. Overall, we have been pleased with our visits, aside from dealing with the front desk.
